Dreams

Leo and Shasa have returned to the apartment. Both of them are now resting in their rooms. Leo leaned his back on the head of the mattress, looking at Shasa who was back and forth while calling someone through his cell phone. Leo's eyes follow Shasa's every move. He looks serious talking on the phone. When she finished, Shasa placed her phone in the drawer of the bedside table.

"Dear, here." Leo extended his arm preparing the backrest for Shasa. A smile expands from Shasa's lips. He climbed into the bed and rested his body on Leo's arm. Leo's touch was so warm on his body.

Leo looked at Shasa. "Who are you calling?"

"Manager Lim." Answer Shasa quickly.

Leo frowned. "Is there any work that matters until we have to call in the evening?"

"No. I was only allowed to take time off until next week. And of course he scolded me." Shasa laughed cheerfully, but not with Leo frowning his forehead.

"How dare he scold my wife!" Leo's upset.

"Isa... It's natural that he scolded me. I took an impromptu leave, definitely a lot of work to be diverted as well. He'll definitely be troubled." Shasa tried to explain.

"Where are you going to take your leave?"

"Mama said, a lot of things need to be prepared. So my mom asked me to take a few days off."

Leo sighed. "When do you think we should take care of our move home?"

"Ep... It's up to you."

"Well then tomorrow I'll have Haris take care of it."

"Hey, why so fast?" Shasa protest.

"So you said it was up to you."

"But not tomorrow, too, baby. Tomorrow we move things first. The day after tomorrow we start sleeping there."

"If that's what you shouldn't have said it was up to." Leo protest. "What do you bring stuff for? Papa must have prepared new stuff there. We just have to bring a suitcase of clothes. Oh, or do you even want to buy clothes just now? So we don't have to take anything there?"

"Are you born this wasteful?" Shasa sneered. "Well, tomorrow we'll get our clothes done." Leo smiled looking at the resigned but upset Shasa.

"Any, Leo." Suddenly Shasa called out to him. "I wonder if you really like me or not?"

Leo looked at Shasa. "If I didn't like you, you wouldn't be here right now."

"What do you like about me?" Ask Shasa again.

Leo let go of his embrace and looked at Shasa. "My parents' dream shattered my dream. Since then, I dare not want anything. Then, I met you. The man who so quickly forgets his wounds and chooses to be happy. I saw the magnitude of your courage that always had another dream when your first dream did not work. From you I realized that happiness is what we picked him up."

"Now I'm afraid. My background is very different from yours. I don't know if I can be a good companion to you."

Leo shook his head. "My first dream was to be happy with my parents because they were all I had. I lost it when I had to part away from my papa. I don't want to have any more wishes because it will only be a wound for me." Leo flicked Shasa's hair behind his ear. "But you made me dare to dream again. My dream right now is to be happy with you. I don't need anything else, I just need you."

"Never feel alone again." Shasa rubbed Leo's cheek with both hands. "You won't be happy if you're lonely."

"Never leave me. I only have you." Leo looked at Shasa expectantly.

It was Shasa's turn to embrace Leo. 'How can you keep your wounds alone like that? You're stupid or what, you have everything, but you say you only have me.' Shasa's inner self.

"Gusta, I think I understand why Leo loves him." Lady Sofia was already in her room with Commissioner Gusta.

"Why indeed?" Commissioner Gusta asked while reading the book on his lap.

"Shafira is a girl who always has happiness on her face. That's what Leo didn't have in the past, right? Shafira is cute and innocent, hahaha... Do you think he can adapt to the foundation board later?" Lady Sofia wondered to herself.

"Time will answer." Commissioner Gusta answered Lady Sofia's question.

"Isa... You're this! Answer my question clearly." Lady Sofia clucked.

"If he did have the mentality of a member of the Gusta Family, he would definitely pass through it easily. Why are you so scared? When she becomes Mistress Gusta, she will hold power within the foundation."

"Gusta, what made you approve of Leo marrying him?"

"I think, company shares, power, wealth, that's what he's gonna ask of me. He asked for happiness for himself. There's no way I'm going to refuse her request, right?"

"You've been a good father, Gusta. Thank you for understanding my son's mind. Let's enjoy our time as grandmothers after this. I'll ask for grandchildren that many of them."

"Sofia, how long have they been married? Has she not had any signs of pregnancy yet?" Commissioner Gusta's question made Lady Sofia also curious. Both of these people were hoping to get a grandchild soon.
