[Lena POV ]
Sirius and I went down the hill to enter the village of Elberim. The atmosphere felt very different when we were in Omor City. The village of Elberim has a cool and calm air.
“Hey young couple, you guys are newly arrived travelers right?”
I heard the voice of a grandfather.
“True, who are you if I may know?” ask Sirius.
“Ah, my name is Morlin. I am the Village Chief of Elberim,” replied Mr. Morlin. “You guys look foreign here, do you guys need anything in our village?” tanyanya back.
“We just want to stay and buy some food supply. My name is Sirius,” replied Sirius while introducing himself.
I then sensed that Mr. Morlin was looking at me.
“Ah, you can call me Lena.”
“Sirius and Lena. If you don't mind, I will take you to the inn here and invite you to introduce our village,” said Mr. Morlin.
“Alright, thank you for your kindness,” I said expressing gratitude.
We then walked behind Mr. Morlin listening to him tell him about his village.
“This village is great to live in. There is no war and no conflict. Only humans help each other in various affairs,” he said. “Every day the residents have the motivation to move and be more productive. When I was a child, this village only had a dozen heads of families. But now, many people from big cities settled here because the atmosphere was better than urban. The number of residents here now reaches around 2000 people,” he explained.
After a while walking, Sirius then arrived – suddenly stop walking.
“Mr Morlin, who is standing at the funeral?” ask Sirius.
“Ahh, he is Johan. His wife died 10 days ago. Poor guy, he just moved here a year ago and looks very happy living here with his wife,” replied Mr. Morlin in a regretful tone.
From his voice, I felt a negative emotion from his answer. Did Mr Morlin have anything to do with the death of the wife of the man named Johan?
We continued on our way and reached a building.
“Alright, this is Reinhold's inn. He is a good person and very easy to talk to,” said Mr. Morlin.
“One more time, thank you for your help Mr. Morlin,”.
“Yes, equally. Hope you feel comfortable while you are here.”
After Mr. Morlin left, Sirius and I entered the inn.
“Ohh, newcomer. Welcome to Reinhold inn, how can I help you?” ask Reinhold.
“How much is the rate for 2 rooms?” ask Sirius.
“30 Colling for each room overnight,” Reinhold replied.
“Ohhh here is cheaper than the one in Omor City,”.
“Yes! But do not misjudge first, cheaper does not mean less comfortable young lady. This inn I founded will not be inferior in quality to the one in Urban!” Reinhold.
“Alright, this is money..”.
“In my inn, you pay if you're leaving. Please check the room first,” Cut Reinhold while giving 2 keys to Sirius.
“Good.”

[ Sirius POV ]
After Lena and I bought supplies for tomorrow, we enjoyed dinner on the first floor of the inn. Many villagers also come here to drink after they finish working in the garden and the farm.
“Yes, that's right. Already 4 people have been killed since 10 days and we have no clue at all in this case.”
I heard a serious chat next to the table Lena and I had dinner. I looked at them and said.
“Sorry sir - sir. If you may know, what are you talking about?”
The three people who were chatting then looked at me. The man named Lampert replied.
“Ah, we talked too hard about this. Sorry to interrupt your dinner, Arrivals.”
“It's okay, I'm just surprised to hear your words about the murder. We will settle for a while here you know, it would be a great relief if we knew the – things that are happening in this Village,”.
The three of them then fell silent and looked at each other.
“Actually, it has been 10 days some of our citizens died with unnatural circumstances,” Lampert said. “This started when one of our citizens Lydia died was killed by someone,” he added.
“Kill someone?” many doubt.
“That's at least our suspicion. According to a hunter here, Lydia was killed by a beast. But I'm sure there are – things that go deeper than that,” he explained.
“Indeed, who is this Lydia you're talking about?” my many.
“He is his wife Johann the plant seller,” he replied.
Johan's? Wasn't that the name of the man mentioned by the Village Chief who was at the cemetery earlier?
“Lydia is quite an influential woman here you know. He often teach the women – women here read and write, also help us villagers in doing other things –. Even the Village Chief often consults with him if there is a problem – specific problem,” Lampert replied. “Since his death, some residents also died unnaturally such as suicide, accident and sudden poisoning,” he added.
“Is that? That's why the Village Chief seemed to pay more attention to the newcomers?” asked Lena who had been listening to our conversation.
“Yes. The Village Chief is a good person, only this time this kind of event happened here.we have been living peacefully without interruption for decades,” Lampert replied.
After dinner, I drove Lena to her room. When I was about to walk out, Lena arrived – arrived pulling my sleeves.
“Hey Sirius, will we leave this village tomorrow?” ask Lena.
“Yes, I guess we have no other business in this village,” I replied.
“Can we stay here for a while? One or two more days?” ask Lena.
“Don't tell me you want to help the villagers about the death case that was talked about earlier?” askaku.
“Ummm, they look like good people and are in trouble. I want to help them,” said Lena.
“Isn't Lena on her way to Braswigh City? And how do you want to help them?” my many.
“Yes that's right. However, I will be very sorry when I leave without doing something when I know there are people who are in trouble,” he replied in a sad tone while bowed.
“They have a lot of people, solve problems - other people's problems are not necessarily really - really help them you know,” I said while remembering an old friend.
Helping other people's problems isn't necessarily helping them, that's what I realized when I was in Ouroboros. One sometimes has to solve their own problems in order to develop. Including the people in the village. Even though the development must be paid at certain prices. The world won't pity you when you're down. There will not always be a hero helping you. Only we can help ourselves.
“Ta-but, we should still help each other to give a chance to those who have misfortunes in life right? just as a baby needs adult help if their parents are not around. The baby will one day be a useful person for his helper,” said Lena in a slightly quivering tone from confronting me.
Hearing his words, I remember when Master picked me up when I was a kid. Remembering about him made the hole in my heart open again.
“Hahhh... Well, tomorrow we will go to Johann's residence to investigate.”
Hearing the word – I said, Lena immediately stood up and clasped my hands together and smiled.
“Really!? Thank you Sirius!”
Seeing her cheerfully made both sides of my lips rise smiling.
