Arc 3 Chapter 6: Plans of Two Vampires

After the fight ended, the group was finally able to pass the Ranola river bridge area. Thanks to the help provided by Lena, the death toll from fighting on the bridge became less.

From the Patrol Guard side, we lost four members. As for the side of the Holy Knights, they lost ten Knights. This is because the Nymphs focus their attacks more on them. The Holy Knights who had fallen into the river also had difficulty rising to the surface due to the armor they were wearing.

"Senior Rigel, how are the bodies of our three dead?" I was checking the condition of the Patrol Guard after the battle.

"Two bodies I think we can still take back to their families. However, the rest of one body was almost torn apart because of the prey of the damn Nymphs," he said regretfully.

"Well, we bury what's left of him and we return him the Patrol Guard badge to his family later."

With the number of wounded reaching 30 people from the side of the Patrol Guard with the Holy Knights, inevitably we will have to delay the departure to take care of them first.

It should have been if there wasn't any Lena here. He patiently approached the wounded and healed them one by one with a smile on his face.

"We're leaving! Next up was Runfeld Village!" mr. Wapol's orders.

The journey of the group continues. Lena is seen back on her horse-drawn carriage with a woman carrying a bow.

Even though our distance is this close, I can't even talk to him at all. Is Lena okay after casting that much magic?

We continued our journey until nightfall. It was seen that the Patrol Guard fell asleep when the group decided to rest.

Naturally, they were exhausted after having this hard day.

"Mr Sirius, Mr. Georgy and Mr. Wapol call you to have a meeting in the main tent." A Holy Knight came to me.

"All right, I'll be there soon."

After I finished rechecking the condition of the Patrol Guard, I then walked towards the main tent.

On the other hand, Lena was inside a special tent for him with Alicia.

Lena felt her body feel more limp than usual after doing magic with a sizeable scale. Although not as big as when fighting against the Demon King's forces, Lena still not used to the side effects of her strength.

"How are you, Great Saint?" alicia asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, Alicia. Just need a little rest. And I told you, right? Just call me Lena if we're alone" Lena said with a smile to allay Alicia's worries.

The servants then entered the tent carrying a tub and a change of clothes for Lena.

The waiter then took off Lena's clothes one by one. What was seen then was a sight for a woman herself as Alicia was amazed.

Smooth white skin like snow, ideal body without any defects, beautiful curves. Alicia was like seeing the incarnation of Goddess Athena herself when she saw Lena. Alicia was sure, no man could survive Lena's charm.

The female servants then began to wipe the soft body of Lena with warm water.

"Great Saint, I will stand guard outside first. If you need anything, call, it's me" Alicia said.

"Umm, thank you, Alicia." Lena gave him a smile.

"I'll excuse you first."

Alicia then walked outside the tent. However, when he opened the curtain out, he saw a blond man standing before him.

"What are you doing here, Arthur?" asked Lena coldly while crossing her hands.

"Go first from here, the Saint is now bathing and changing clothes" Alicia said.

Hearing Alicia's words, Arthur swallowed his own saliva. He then stole a glance into the tent.

"Arthurian... " Alicia's cold voice sounded again.

"L-yes, what's up Alicia?" Arthur looks nervous being stared at like a disgusting man by Alicia.

"Go from here, now." Alicia's voice was slow but had a strong command of her expression.

Seeing Arthur who started to turn around and walk, Alicia finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Geez, all men are the same. They will look very stupid when thinking about using their lower bodies" Alicia murmured.

After cleaning up and changing clothes, Lena invites Alicia to have a night chat.

"that, huh? Originally Alicia would be betrothed to the Prince of Thuringia Kingdom." Lena just listened to Alicia's story.

"Yes, Lena. Marriage is a common thing among nobles." Alicia recalled her experience when many men approached her while still in her hometown.

"Usually the marriage of the nobles is due to political and interest basis" he continued.

"Is that so? Then, did those nobles never get their true love?" ask Lena back.

Hearing that question, Alicia was silent for a moment. He saw the relationship of the father with his mother very well like a loving couple in general. Although both parents are the result of an arranged marriage, they still live a harmonious life.

"Lena... What is this thing called true love?" alicia asked back who was somewhat confused by those two words.

Hearing Alicia's back question, this time it was Lena who fell silent. He doesn't even know about love with the opposite sex. All the pastors taught him was love for his fellow men, not true love for the opposite sex.

They talked about a lot of things that night.

In a forest near the village of Runfeld. Two humanoid creatures were monitoring the state of the village.

"What do you think of Regulus? Can we break through the defenses of this village when those Saint and Hero troupes are here?" ask Marinus—one of the Vampires that Geldoro assigned to kill the Saint and the Hero.

"I think it will be difficult to break through if their defense is concentrated at one point" replied his colleague Regulus.

They were devising an assault strategy when the troupe arrived.

"We will create a distraction by summoning hundreds of demons and monsters to this village when the Heroes Trial," proposed Regulus.

The heroes will not be able to go anywhere if they are doing a Trial. This was a good opportunity for the two of them to commit the Saint's murder

"Is that so? Then who's going to fight Georgy? He is this company, he is our greatest threat" asked Marinus.

Regulus then took out a coin in his pocket. "Tails or Heads?"

"Head."

Regulus then threw the coin into the air and swiped it. He opened his hand, revealing the side of the coin in his hand.

"Bright... All right, I'll take care of Georgy. Regulus you must be able to kill the Saint."

Both have developed strategies in the future. Sirius and Lena were unaware of the great danger lurking around them.
