Arc 1 Chapter 4: The City of Omor

After killing Torren's entourage, I then carried Lena to take her to a better resting place. The effect of Paralyze with the dose used by Torren earlier will only last for 1 hour. I then returned to the group's corpse and searched for items that might be useful while waiting for Lena to wake up.

After an hour of walking, we had reached Omor City at night. Lena and I walked to the main gate. Two guards approached the two of us.

The guard returned my Baselard and opened the gate. Usually if we are going to enter a City in another Country, we have to pay a tax. However, it is different from the city of – cities located in the neutral Zone. The newcomers did not have to pay anything when entering the city. We then started walking and reached an entertainment district. The atmosphere in the entertainment district was very crowded.

There is a gambling and prostitution place. That is very reasonable because Omor is a city that is famous for its nightlife. We walked to find an inn. There was a young heavenly voice - a young man enjoying his night. Suddenly, my hand was touched by Lena.

“Hey Sirius. I heard some screams of a woman. But from the sound of his emotions, the woman seemed to be having fun – happy in contrast to the screams I heard. What exactly is going on with that woman?” asked Lena innocently.

I then fell silent for a moment when Lena asked that.

“The woman is doing a game with her partner,” I replied.

“What kind of game?” ask Lena back.

When I was about to move my legs back, Lena arrived – suddenly asked back.

In the midst of the crowded atmosphere in the city of Omor, there were six people who were discussing on top of a building.

“The woman fits perfectly with the description of the target given by her,” said a woman in the group.

“He was one of the Assassins of the Ouroboros Organization,” replied the man and threw a knife into a wooden wall.

They were surprised by the action of arriving – arrived which the man did. Not long after, the wooden wall spewed out a blood. They broke into the wooden wall and found the body of a man with a knife stuck in his head.

“It looks like he's from the intelligence unit of the Kingdom of Aquitainne. I think he's trying to sabotage our abduction plan,” the woman said.

“Yes, we have to be fast. If not, then the other party's – will start arriving and will make our mission more difficult,” said the man while taking his knife from the corpse's head.
