Arc 3 Chapter 17: Sirius's Anger

Me and Chairman Serena rushed to find the location where Angelo's sister was being held. The boy said his location was in one of the City's storage warehouses.

There are about ten warehouses in Wien City. We told the members we met on the street to try to inspect every warehouse.

After a few minutes, we finally reached the warehouse in the northern corner of the city. It seems that some officers are working at the place.

"Open this warehouse immediately!" command of the Chairman of Serena to the officers.

"But, we're not ber—"

Before she could finish her words, Chief Serena pushed the officer into the wall of the warehouse. He then pulled the collar of the clerk trying to intimidate him.

"Open now the door to this barn or you'll enjoy your rest tomorrow in the holding cell!" snapped the Chief, making the officer terrified.

The employee nodded and pulled out a key. He then rushed to open the door of the warehouse.

Inside, there are many boxes stored on shelves that have been marked.

"Sirius, unload these boxes to look for evidence!" chairman Order.

We then checked several boxes of goods in this warehouse. I tried to unpack the details of the package and the contents of the items in the box carefully so as not to miss the evidence.

After a few minutes of searching, I found a mattress that was slightly suspicious. Taking Baselard out of his scabbard, I then split the mattress.

Seen several packs of drugs in the mattress.

"I found it, Chief!"

Chief Serena then approached me and took the package of medicines.

"With this, the involvement of government employees regarding cases of drug trafficking is proven already," said Serena Chairman. "One of you call Archduke Otto and tell us of our discovery" the Chairman ordered the other members.

"Chairman, we should hurry to the other warehouse. They're still holding the kid's sister hostage." I don't want to linger here.

"Alright, let's go to another warehouse," said the Chairman. He then turned to face the other members. "Give this to you, Sirius and I will go check somewhere else!"

We also left this place to find a hiding place for other drug dealer syndicates.

On the other hand, Angelo was running towards one of the warehouses that he remembered to save his sister. Knowing he failed to kill Sirius and Serena, he was afraid the syndicates would hurt his sister.

I have to hurry... Wait I am Aria, Big Brother will definitely save you!

The day had entered the afternoon, the sky was starting to darken. Black clouds appeared above the sky, signaling rain was about to fall.

Angelo continued to run like his life depended on the speed of his legs.

Not long after, he had arrived near the storage area in the religious district, where the priests lived and the Temple of Athena of Wien City were located.

It looks like the streets here are deserted like never before. Angelo does not stop his run, he then arrives at the place where he believes the syndicates are producing drugs and holding Aria hostage.

This place is surrounded by a wall that has a height of 3 meters.

Angelo then jumped towards the wall. One hand reached the top, he then tried to raise his body to pass through the wall.

I managed... That's the warehouse.

Not wasting any time, Angelo then runs towards a large building that he suspects to be a warehouse for storage and production of syndicates.

There is a high gate that closes the entrance into the warehouse. Angelo looked up, looking at the top of a gap he could get into.

He then rushed up the gate. With great difficulty he reached the gap at the top of the gate.

After reaching the top, Angelo then entered the gap and saw a room that was quite dark.

He came down and walked to explore the warehouse.

Where are they hiding Aria...?

During his exploration of the warehouse, Angelo sees only a few tools and a strange liquid that he suspects is the ingredients of making the illegal drug.

Not long after, he arrived at a door that led to a room. He tried to open it and found that the room was not locked at all.

However, what he saw in this room made him freeze.

A girl's corpse is seen hanging tied to a rope. There were several incisions on his body, indicating that he died in a tormented state. The clothes that the girl was wearing were torn, the clothes that Angelo had previously given her as a gift.

Angelo clenched his hands hard. Tears wet his cheeks. His heart shattered like a shattered glass seeing the condition of his sister who died horribly.

"Ah... Angelo, have you come apparently? You missed the main event."

The mysterious man then appears with several other people. She is seen smiling at Angelo, as she scoffs at his helplessness protecting her beloved sister.

"It's a pity that you failed to carry out your mission, boy," said the mysterious man. "Now, you're of no use to us anymore."

Hearing the man's voice made Angelo's emotions peak, the look in his eyes revealed an enormous killing intent.

"I won't forgive you." murmured Angelo.

"What did you say, boy? I didn't hear you?" taunting the man.

Angelo grabbed his dagger and started running towards the man.

"I KILLED YOU MOTHERFUCKER!"

[Serena PoV]

Sirius and I moved from one warehouse to another. However, we only found a few packages of illegal drugs ready to send. We have not found any evidence of any of the warehouses where the syndicates are producing their illegal drugs.

There's only one storage warehouse left that hasn't been checked at all by the Patrol Guard in this town.

"Sirius, do you think we should go to the warehouse in the religious district or the government district?"

"Let's check the one in the religious district first, Chairman."

"All right."

We started rushing to the location. The sky is getting darker because it is covered by black clouds. Raindrops began to fall soaking into the uniform I was wearing.

After a short run, we had finally arrived at this quite spacious storage area. A three-meter-high wall surrounded the storage area.

We walked towards the gate, and saw two guards chatting. Realizing our presence, they stopped chatting and approached us.

"Lady Serena, what do you need here?" ask one of the guards.

"Open the gate" I told them.

"We want to know your needs first, Lady Serena," the guard insisted.

I immediately unsheathed the sword towards the guard's neck without saying anything. I stared at him coldly until he understood what I would do without saying it.

His expression turned to fear. He then nodded and took a key from his pocket.

After the door opened, we rushed towards the warehouse. It looks like a building big enough to be an illegal drug production site.

"That's the barn, Lady Serena," said the Guard in a trembling voice.

He then opened the door of the building.

After entering the building, I faintly heard the sound of commotion. Sirius and I rushed to the source of the sound and found a large room.

There are many people who are seen carrying weapons. The men were watching and cheering a wounded child crawling through the middle of the room to reach the corpse of a girl.

That little boy... He was a child who often practiced with Sirius.

"Ah, Chief Patrol Guard—Serena von Ritterburg. Welcome to our place, it's a pity that you can't come in time to see the main event!" said a mysterious man. His face was blocked by a hood.

I ignored the man's words and saw the condition of the child crawling. With such a wound... He doesn't seem to be helping.

"Male.... "

The boy was finally able to reach the dead body of the girl who was seen dead in a state of distress.

"I'm sorry brother... It's all my fault... Huuu... "

The boy was crying. It seemed, the corpse of the girl was his sister.

I saw Sirius approaching the boy. From back here, it was hard to see what expression he made seeing this scene.

"Sirius." said the boy aware of his presence.

"I just want to make my sister happy... Makes her happy... Not feeling hungry and thirsty... Not cold when winter comes.... "

The boy pulled Sirius' collar. Hearing the boy's words, Sirius just kept silent without saying a word.

"Why should we suffer such a fate...? We weaklings can only accept our bitter destiny without being able to change anything... We can only accept when those who have the power do as they please us..."

The boy smacked Sirius in the chest and was seen venting all the emotions inside him.

With those last words, the boy then breathed his last breath.

Sirius closed his eyes and laid the body of the boy next to his brother's corpse.

"You have tried hard, Angelo," said Sirius. His expression was calm and did not show any emotion. "Now, leave everything to me... "

Sirius then stood up, walking towards the people who were with the mysterious man.

"Hee~ Do you think, only you two can defeat a hundred of us!?" the mysterious man. "We're gonna kill you both like those useless kids and play around with your dead bodies!"

Sirius still did not stop his steps, he then unsheathed his short sword.

"We both? I alone am enough to defeat trash like you," Sirius said in his usual tone of voice. However, I knew, his heart was currently screaming.

He then started to dart towards those hundred people.

The syndicates began to run towards Sirius, swarming him from all directions.

However, I saw pieces of human hands and feet thrown into the air. Sirius shrewdly dodged all attacks by the syndicates and attacked them quickly.

Seeing Sirius' power, the syndicates began to retreat.

Sirius' body was covered with blood from the people who attacked him earlier. The screams of pain from the syndicates started to sound loud in this room. Their hands and feet were cut off and scattered throughout the room.

"Why? Are you afraid of facing only one person? Why don't you show me how you skinned the kid?"

Throwing out such words, I saw a black aura coming out from Sirius' body. For some reason, my breathing started to get a little short. Is this just because I feel Sirius' great killing intent?

Sirius then began to slowly walk towards the Syndicates.

"What's wrong? Don't you want to have fun? Why are you guys moving away now?" sirius said with a cold tone of voice.

The sound of lightning rolling out, the sound of rain drops falling on the roof of the warehouse began to sound louder. Makes the view inside here much more terrifying.

Some of the Syndicates began to faintly receive the intimidation killing aura that Sirius gave them. Their mouths started foaming and their breaths looked breathless.

"Let's have some fun."

After saying that, Sirius began to dart towards the syndicates. He began to dismember the hands and feet of those people without a fight. They are too scared to move their bodies.

At last... Sirius was able to defeat those syndicates and surprisingly...

Without anyone dying.
