Arc 3 Chapter 15: Courier

At night, a little boy was sitting in the alley of Kota. He was Angelo, the boy Sirius had helped before. He then kept silent as if he was waiting for someone.

Not long after, a man wearing a robe covering his head came over to Angelo.

"You're the new courier, aren't you? It was quite young as it turned out," said the mysterious man.

"Are you going to give me the stuff?" ask Angelo.

Previously, Angelo agreed to become a courier for these drug dealers. He was promised a high fee if he could deliver the package to the buyers.

"These are two packages of drugs ordered, you go to the entertainment district precisely in a bar near the most famous brothel there," said the mysterious man, giving Angelo an instruction. "There will be a Customer who will come to you."

"How do I know he's the one who's gonna buy this package?" angelo asked, he did not want to be suddenly arrested by Patrol Guard agents.

"Customer will say the secret code is 'Why real men are more attracted to women's chests than their asses' if you hear him say that, you have to answer 'Because real men only talk to women face to face."

Hearing the absurd secret code of the mysterious man, Angelo was seen frowning his forehead.

"What kind of secret code is that! Your boss is a pervert, isn't he!?" angelo was a little upset.

"Shhhh! Don't be noisy, you idiot! You want this whole town to know what we're talking about!?" reply the mysterious man while hitting Angelo's head with a package of medicine in his hand.

"Anyways, just send me this package and meet me at the City park, okay?"

Angelo simply nodded in response to the man's instructions. He then took two packets of medicine that belonged to him and left the mysterious man.

After arriving at the entertainment district, Angelo then started walking towards his meeting place with his Customer. There were several Guard Patrols patrolling the district.

Their guard seemed to be tighter than usual.

Angelo then tried to stay as natural as possible so as not to be suspected. But, in a place of entertainment like this, a little child seemed to have definitely made others curious about his presence.

For this reason, two Guard Patrols were seen walking towards him.

"Hey boy, what are you doing in a grown-up place like this?" ask one of the Guard Patrols.

"Hey Rigel, it doesn't need to be that cold in a kid this small" the Patrol Guard colleague said.

Not caring about the words of his colleague, Rigel still cornered Angelo with questions.

"Jawab my question, boy! Otherwise, I'll have to hold back and take you to headquarters!" threaten Rigel's.

"I-I'm going to see my father, sir. He usually gambles in a place like this," Angelo said in a tone of voice as pitiful as possible.

"Hooo~ so, huh? Can I take you to see your father, boy?" bargain Rigel who looks not fooled by the reason Angelo.

Damnit damnit! He's quite stubborn too! angelo in the Heart.

"Te-of course, sir. Let's follow me" said Angelo who then walked towards the alleyways of this area.

Behind him, the two Guard Patrols did not seem to relax their focus at all even to a small child like Angelo, making it difficult to escape.

Angelo remained walking in the entertainment district without any direction at all. He was still looking for something to divert the two Guard Patrols that were following him.

"Hey boy, where exactly is your father? The city had already almost surrounded the entire district area!" Rigel.

Angelo kept walking and not long after, he saw an opportunity for her to escape.

"What did you say!? Say it one more time, you bastard!'

" You don't deserve Sofia!"

Seen from a distance two people were fighting over a woman. Both men were drunk and lost control of their emotions.

"Currently, people are useless. Kurt, you wait here and keep an eye on this boy. I'll sort things out over there" said Rigel, who pulled out a club.

All right, the one watching me is one person. I think I can do this!

"Sir, can you help me for a minute?" ask Angelo to start the action.

- Bam!

Angelo kicked him in the face, causing Kurt to fall to the ground. Seeing this opportunity, Angelo then began to flee towards the narrow alleys.

"Damn! Rigels! The boy ran away!" yelled Kurt who tried to get up while holding his nose that was bleeding.

"I told you not to let your guard down with that boy!" Rigel rushed to run after Angelo.

However, in a narrow place like this, the two Guard Patrols were unable to catch up to Angelo. Make the little boy can breathe a sigh of relief for a while.

"Phew... That was almost... This job has a high risk!" exclaimed Angelo who then went to his meeting place with Costumer.

The next day, Angelo came to his house with food and new clothes for his sister.

"Waws... Where'd you get all this, brother!?" ask his sister—Aria, look amazed by the results of Angelo's work last night.

"I just got a job, is Aria happy with my gift?" ask Angelo.

"Yes... Thank you, brother!" aria who then hugged her brother.

Angelo's heart was proud to hear Thank you and see the happy smile of his sister.

I did the right thing by taking this job.

In the afternoon, Angelo goes to the city park to meet Sirius. He would do martial arts training as usual.

He saw Sirius had been waiting for him in the garden with a beautiful black-haired woman. It seemed, he had seen that woman somewhere.

"Oh, Angelo. Have you arrived?" sirius said to him.

"A, Sirius. Who is this beautiful woman you are with?" ask Angelo.

He then saw the woman's cold gaze hand out a needle that pierced his body.

"Well... This is Wien— City Guard Patrol ChairmanSerena von Ritterburg. His eyes always look like that, so don't be afraid" Sirius said, trying to calm Angelo down.

"What's wrong with my eyes!?" serena pulled Sirius' collar and began to scold him.

They look so close... Is he Sirius' lover?

After that, Angelo and Sirius started doing martial arts training as usual. Serena looked at them from a distance while eating some snacks.

It looks ironic once, Sirius trained Angelo martial arts which he used to commit crimes against the Guard Patrols.

After parting ways with Angelo, Sirius and Serena walk to return to the Patrol Guard headquarters.

Serena saw Sirius' expression while training Angelo earlier. Sirius was like enjoying his training session with the Boy. She even smiled a few times which, Serena rarely saw.

"You seem pretty close to the boy, Sirius," said Serena, who started the conversation.

"Is that so? I'm just helping so that he can take care of himself" Sirius replied in a casual tone.

"I got a report from Rigel about a suspicious little boy last night you know," Serena said. "Seeing from his characteristics, the boy was perfectly suited to the portrayal of Rigel."

Sirius knew what Serena was trying to tell him.

"I understand, Chief." Sirius's eyes turned ice-cold as he said that.
