Side Story: The man who wants to be Hero 3
After the night of the welcome was over, I escorted the Saint to his resting room. However, I had seen the Saint look like he was looking for something in the main hall earlier.
Did something happen?
"Arthur, can you take me to the Palace's garden first?" the Pinta the Saint.
"Great Saint, aren't you tired already? Why not just rest in your room?" the bujukku.
"It's okay, Arthur. I just don't want to sleep yet" she replied weakly.
We then walked back around the palace. The Saint's face seemed completely unfocused. When we were in the main hall as well he acted like that.

"Is that so? I-i understand. I put the security of this Palace into your hands" replied the Saint. "Arthur, you help the guards here to deal with this matter" he told me.
"Alright, Great Saint. At least, let me take you to the room first."
We both left the park. Despite the murder in the palace, the guests did not appear to be agitated or panicked. I think the guards kept this incident a secret.
"Is so... That's why I couldn't feel his presence at all in the main hall just now." I heard the Saint mutter something.
"Uhmm, Great Saint. Did you say something?" my many.
"Hmmm... It's okay, Arthur," she replied with a smile.
He smiled back. Seen expression His face began to return cheerful as ever. I don't understand, for some reason, it pisses me off.

An hour after the assassination, there was a meeting between the Patrol Guard, the Palace Guards and the Holy Knights who were the bodyguards of the Saint.
Me and Lord Georgy as representatives of the Holy Knights were already present with the Captain of the Palace guards in the meeting room. We are waiting for the representatives of the Patrol Guard to start this emergency meeting.
The door of the room opens. Showing a woman long black hair like the darkness of night. Her dazzling white face contrasted with her expression that looked cold and intimidating.
Who is that woman...?
"A, Serena. Finally came too" said Mr. Georgy.
The woman then approached us both. "Sorry we're a little late Uncle, I have to check Major Landa's body first."
Uncle? Could this woman be the famous Black Mamba? Heir of Duchy Ritterburg—Serena von Ritterburg.
"Ah is okay. Serena introduced, she's Arthur— who's a hero candidate." Mr. Georgy introduced me to him.

"Yes, it's an honor to meet you too, Arthur the Hero." I shook his hand.
Rumors about her beauty like the Ice Princess were true. Famous is very hard on criminals and is always on the front line when facing crime.

Princess Serena then explains the chronology of the murder. Major Landa was killed by a needle that had been smeared with a deadly poison.
There has been no indication of the perpetrator of Major Landa's murder at Wienburg Palace. However, Princess Serena suspects a connection between Major Landa's murder and the murder of one of the Councillors a few days ago.
"What do you think is the motive for this murder?" ask the Palace Captain.
"Mendiang Major Landa and Mr Georg, both from the same Council faction. I think the motive for this murder is based on political differences" replied Princess Serena.
I honestly don't really know the political map of Archduchy Astria. Even in my residence—Brichnoig Kingdom, I understand absolutely nothing about the politics there.
Things like that are too complicated for me to understand.
"Then for the safety of Archduke Otto and Saint Mary Magdalene, do we have to re-plan the security of the two of them?" ask Mr. Georgy.
"I don't think so, because what the killer is after is not a brand of both," replied Princess Serena.
"Well then, for the safeguards of the Hero Trial to be held in 3 days, I will appoint my subordinates—Sirius as Patrol Guard representatives when there is a meeting like this during the Trial," princess Serena.
Hearing this, Mr. Georgy was about to stand up and say something. However, he canceled the action.
