Arc 2 Chapter 2: Serena von Ritterburg

After we got closer to the source of the explosion sound, the museum building was seen burning. Many panicked people were running around the museum area. Not far from the building, I saw several wounded security officers. Not long after, the other members had arrived to investigate what had really happened.

There were some people who were raising something in a sack to a horse carriage.

They realized we were approaching and performed a gesture with their hands.

“Hey Sirius, I don't think they're people who look friendly,” Senior Hans said.

Soon seven people appeared from the museum. Some of them carried an object that I was very familiar with in their hands.

“Senior, did you see that thing in their hands? When they point it at Senior, hurry to dodge.”

“What do you mean Si—“

Dorr!

Unable to finish his words, the men started shooting at us. Senior and I immediately dodged and ran for cover behind a merchandise Stal.

Dorr! Dorr! Dorr!

The wood chips started to scatter as the men shot back at us.

Fortunately, this wood is thick.

“Heyy Sirius! What are the things they hold!” senior shouted beside my face.

It looks like his cheek is bleeding from a scratch from the bullet. He was lucky enough to turn out.

“Explain it later Senior! I think they've stolen the Great Armor that's in the museum!”

I turned around and peeked at them. The men began to flee and carried the Spirit on the horse-drawn carriage.

Not long after, the other Patrol Guards began arriving with the Vice Chairman. I then explained to them everything that happened and about the weapons they were wearing.

“Ludger, huh? I think I've also heard that term,” said the Vice Chairman.

“Then, what will we do?” ask Hans.

The Vice Chairman then kept silent for a moment before speaking.

“The leader along with seven other members is moving towards the road towards the city gate. If their goal is to take that armour away, I think they will go there,” said the Vice Chairman. “Better we hurry up soon, we will pass the market path to cut so that we can catch up with them soon. By carrying a horse carriage, they will not be able to pass through the narrow alleys.”

According to the Vice Chairman's direction, we then began to run through the Wien City shopping center. People there look confused to see us—Patrol Guard looks in a hurry.

After running for a few minutes, we saw the chariot of the rebels. Seen in the wagon was an object covered in cloth. About five people in the wagon were seen guarding the cloth-covered object. The horse carriage was also escorted by 10 horse riders around it.

“We take down their riding guards first! We surround them on each side!” the Vice Chairman's Order.

I, Senior Hans and the other two members chased after them from the left side while the Vice Chairman and the other four members from the right side.

We then began to run through the narrow alleys of the City in order to more quickly chase the horse-drawn carriage.

We came to a crossroads ahead of the rebels. Hiding behind a wall of alleyways waiting to invade as they were about to turn onto the main road leading to the city gate.

“Hey, you. We'll take out the horse guards first. Attack them according to my command. You guys understand?” hans's instructions.

The three of us nodded. Not long after, the horse-drawn carriage was seen heading towards this intersection.

“Hey Junior, this is your first time facing this situation. move according to my instructions and do not be rash.”

“Of course, Senior. We're going to subvert them all in this ambush.”

The train then began to turn towards the main road of the city gate.

“Breet..”.

I then took the lid of the trash can made of iron and then suddenly ran and jumped onto one of the horse riders who was escorting the horse carriage. I attacked him with my knee using the Flying Knee technique. My strike hit his face that got him bounced off his horse.

“Goblokk! I said wait for my aba-abaku!”

All three of my comrades then jumped in to attack the horsemen.

I then rode this horse and did not forget to take a Ludger that he held earlier and put it in my pocket.

“…!”

The rebels were surprised to find their entourage suddenly attacked. They then pointed their Ludger at me.

Dorr! Dorr! Dorr!

I was lucky to bring the lid of this garbage can so that it was protected from their fire. Hearing the gunshots, the townspeople around the streets panicked.

I then saw a rope hanging connected to the horse carriage.

“Stupid horseback riding that Patrol Guard!”

Dorr!

They shot my horse, which made me jump and reach for the rope hanging from the carriage. I put the lid of the trash can under my feet using it as a slide to keep following them.

“What are you doing! Quickly kill him!”

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

I then maneuvered by controlling my footing on the cover of the trash can to avoid their shots.

“Cut the rope!”

I saw a board leaning against a pile of stuff and sliding past the board.

The rope I held was cut by them. I then jumped using the momentum of my speed to the front of the horse carriage and took Ludger and pointed him at the foot of the horse carrying the wagon.

Dor's!

His horse fell which made the chariot driver lose control and made the horse carriage topple.

“Sial! Finish him!”

I then landed and saw some of the horse guards coming down and pulling their swords. It was seen that the guards holding Ludger were also pointing their weapons at me.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

The guards wear swords.

Three people ran towards me. One of them shakes his sword. But I can easily avoid it. I then reached for his arm and did a lock to disarm him.

The man behind her was about to attack me as well but, I shifted the man I locked right in front of me. The rebel sword stopped nearly killing its own companion. I then pushed him to make the two men collide.

“Woy Sirius! You will be punished for moving without orders!” Hans and several other Patrol Guards led by the Vice Chairman came.

“Sial! We escaped! Split!” order one of the rebels.

“Catch them all! Don't let them escape!” The Vice-Chairman immediately advanced against the rebels.

I took down the three rebels who ran towards me. In close combat, the Patrol Guard had the advantage of the rebels wielding Ludger weapons.

“Hey! I know you! You were the one who tried to shoot me in the head at the museum right!” hans shouted as he ran to one of the rebels.

The rebel turned his Ludger back toward Hans.

Dor's!

Hans lowered his head and made a tackle on the rebel and made him fall. Hans disarmed the rebellious Ludger and began beating him while riding on the rebel's chest.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

“Feel this! How dare you try to kill me when I haven't been able to touch Vice Chairman's chest!”

His voice sounded really angry. What the fuck is that reason?

“Hey trash! Once this is done, I will teach you a lesson! Get ready!” The Vice Chairman said that while thrusting his sword into the thigh of one of the rebels as if to vent his anger.

Not long after, the Patrol Guard had crippled the entirety of the rebels stealing the Hero Armor Artifacts.

There were no fatalities among the Patrol Guard however, some of us were injured.

“You tie up these rebels and bring the surviving ones to the headquarters for us to interrogate,” Vice Chairman orders.

As I was tying up one of the rebels, I sensed that something was approaching us at a great speed. I then saw two people hanging by a cable heading this way. One of them then took Zirah who was in the horse carriage.

It happened so quickly that we could not respond to their actions.

“…!”

“What the fuck! Why can they fly fast like before!?” hans.

“Pursue them! Don't let them get away!” the Vice Chairman's Order.

I rushed up one of the horses of the rebels to chase the two men.

Their movement is very fast. What kind of tool is that? They were hanging by a cable stuck in the walls of the building. First Ludger, then this weird tool. Do the rebels have any connection with the Republic of Anconia?

A while following them, I then saw two people hanging with the same tools from opposite directions.

“Kill That Guard Patrol!”

The two men then pulled out two swords. One of them came towards me.

I jumped off the horse. He seemed surprised I jumped up and suddenly was in front of him.

Bamm!

I kicked him in the stomach which made him bounce off a dumpster.

“Sial!”

His partner then turned around undoing his intention to attack me. He had a good decision as well. Do not force against people who look much stronger with him.

I then landed back on the horse I was riding. Not long after, we arrived at an intersection.

When my horse was passing through the intersection, from the right and left of the road there were some people waiting. They are equipped with tools that can make them hang it.

I felt six people darting towards me. In this situation I think.

Do I have to use my magic?

Swosshu.

However, right in front of me, there appeared a long black haired woman who shot out from behind me. He then jumped towards the rebels who were about to attack me.

“Wind Dance.” The woman spoke the name of her technique.

With a flash, the six people who were about to attack me, suddenly had incision wounds all over their bodies.

“…!”

“…!”

The three people I was chasing looked in shock seeing their comrades fall down in an instant. Two of them then turned around and faced the woman but, the woman easily slashed them with her sword.

Remaining only the person carrying the Armor Artifact. The woman then set her foot on the ground and jumped off rapidly. The woman cut off the rebel's leg which made her fall.

The woman then walked over to the rebel who was in pain.

“Rush or die,” he said as he placed his sword on the rebel's neck.

Black hair is like the darkness of the night. On his chest area was a badge that signified he was the Wien City Guard Patrol Leader.
