Arc 1 Chapter 9: Love

[ Sirius POV ]

The moonlight illuminates the darkness of the night in the village of Elberim. Unlike in urban areas that have a lot of light sources, here is very minimal lighting along the way. I was around Johann's house for the final clue to the case.

After several hours of waiting, a movement was seen in Johan's house. A man came out of the house and marched towards a hill with many trees. I then followed him using Featherstep. After a few minutes of walking, the man arrived at a plant with purple flowers exactly the same as the one I found in Riley's shirt. Johan just stood there looking at the flowers – flowers from far away.

“Viovina Flower Plant, your favorite flower when we still live in the city.”

I heard Johann talking to himself.

“I always missed our togetherness before moving here. If you had been following me back then, this might not have happened.”

His tone began to change from melancholy to somewhat high.

“And those bastards who turned you into this! Shit!”

She clenched her hands tightly and started crying.

“But we are so happy together! Why is!? Why Lydia!? Why did you do that to me!?”

She started screaming hysterically and grabbed her own hair.

“But I won't let this happen like this! They have to pay for taking away my happiness!”

Feeling that I had enough information, I started leaving him alone. Seeing from his anger, it was clear who was the mastermind of the case of the death of the villagers who were awkward. I then went to the Village Chief's residence to inform my findings. I also have to talk to Lena tonight. Shortly after, I had arrived at the Village Chief's residence. I knocked on his door

I went into the room and saw Lena sitting on the bed. Her hair looks messy.

“I want Lena to do something while being with Johann tomorrow morning.”

I then informed my findings and my conclusions about the case against Lena. And told him to do something to lure Johan. And I know the right word – words to make him pull out his original side of it.

[Lena POV ]

The next morning, I was on my way with Sirius to Mr. Johann's residence. I was a little nervous when Sirius wanted me to do this.

“Not to worry, Lena,” says Sirius. “I will always come to you if you are in danger, I promise,”.

Hearing the word – he said, made me more relaxed. Is human being that easy? With just a few words - the word entertainer, humans can change something. I will do the same this time. We arrived at Mr. Johann's residence.

“Ah Lena, you have arrived once in the morning,” said Mr. Johann in a cheerful tone.

“Yes, Mr. Johann himself has looked cheerful this morning,”.

“Ahahaha yes. After getting enough sleep, my stress is reduced.”

“Alright Lena, I will go first to buy supplies for our trip later. When you're done, I'll pick you up back here,” Sirius said

“Alright, let's go to the hill to collect Lena plants,” invited Mr. Johann when the presence of Sirius was felt disappeared.

“Why does Lena want to follow me collecting plants?” ask Mr. Johann.

I then strengthened my resolve and asked – things about Lydia as Sirius instructed.

“Mr Johann, why did you curb Lydia during her lifetime?”

I then felt Mr. Johann's hand shake.

“What do you mean Lena? I don't know what you mean?” said Mr. Johann in a cold tone.

Sensing the change in his emotions, I was convinced that Sirius's conclusion was correct and continued with my words.

“Didn't you want your wife to just obey your will? Make Lydia your wife who only obeys your orders like a doll?” I said more to corner him.

“What do you know!? What do you guys know!?” Mr. Johan shouted at me in a very loud tone.

“We both lived happily before moving to this village! You're the one who changed my Lydia! She was originally a submissive and quiet woman when we lived in the City. But since we lived here, Lydia interacts more with the villagers than I do! She, She, She LYDIA I HAVE CHANGED!” Mr. Johann started screaming hysterically.

I felt Mr. Johann bow down after saying that.

“A-ku loved her very much... huuuu,” Mr. Johann started crying.

“That's why you killed your wife?” my many.

Mr. Johann then fell silent and said.

“Yes, it means nothing if I don't have fully Lydia. You know, Lena, Lydia before here was just a quiet woman. When he started living here, many citizens depended on him. His voice was stifled because I sensed Sirius back doing something.

“Wait for Sirius, don't kill him,”.

“You give the citizens who come to you often with Viovina flowers to make them hallucinate, intoxicate and even go crazy. You used that to finish off some residents so that these villagers do not suspect you,” said Sirius. “What you did to Riley was so bad, you gave her a flower that had such a high dose concentration that it made her kill herself out of madness!” obviously Sirius.

The village chief then followed the group of people who brought Mr. Johann.

20 Days before Sirius and Lena are in Elberim Village. In a forest, there was a woman and a man hugging.

“Riley, did you promise to free me from my husband?”

“Of course Lydia, we'll live here together after your husband Johann dies at my hands. I love you Lydia.”

“Yes. I love you too, Riley.”

They then continue their actions that should be done by a husband and wife. The two of them made love in the middle of the forest along with a song of melodious birds.
