Arc 1 Chapter 14: Arbil
"Roland, I want to marry Alissa as soon as possible. Can it be done within 3 days?”
Alissa, Albrech and Roland were talking about the wedding plans at Roland's residence.
“Three days, huh? Could be Mr. However, the wedding must be done here, is Mister no problem?” ask Roland.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
“Mr Roland, are you inside?”
Suddenly their chatter had to stop because of the sound of knocking on the door from someone.
Roland then opened the door of his house then looked at one of his subordinates.
“What's Beiron? Was there a wild animal attack? Or the bandits are acting again?” asked Roland curiously.
“Ti-no Captain, this is not about it,” Beiron replied confused by how to tell Roland about the events that had happened earlier.
“Then what is this about? speak clearly, Beiron,” sue Roland.
“Ya Captain! Your son has molested the village children this morning!”
“What did you say!!? Quickly take me there!” roland's orders.
“Dad, what exactly is a storm?” asked Alissa who was curious about her father's rising voice.
“Tell Mr. Albrech, I'm sorry your wedding chat has to be postponed first,” Roland said.
“Me-why?”
“Beiron said, Sirius molested some of the village children. You're here to accompany Mr. Albrech, I'll quickly resolve this matter,” Roland ordered.
“Ti-impossible, Siriuss??” Alissa could not believe that her sister was doing such a bad thing.
“Beiron, let's hurry.”

On the other side of the village, Sirius was tied to a pole. The people do this just to be on guard. According to the children, Sirius suddenly beat them mercilessly. And Sirius also said he did not remember what – was about the incident. The people thought that Sirius had been possessed by some kind of Evil Spirit.
“I didn't do all that!” sirius said he was trying to say he was innocent.
“Be quiet you boy! If it wasn't for my respect for master Roland, I would have finished you off because of what you've done to my son!” as if one of the victims' fathers.
“One stays! You're the only one in your family that we citizens hate you know!” said a young man.
Not long after, Roland arrived with his adjutant. Roland saw the citizens shouting at his bound son.
“Beiron, take Sirius to the office. I think it would be very dangerous if we let him be surrounded by angry citizens,” Roland ordered.
“Good captain.”
The two of them walked in front of Sirius. Beiron then breaks Sirius' bond.
“The villagers all. I as the father of this child deeply apologize and regret for the actions that my son has done,”, Roland said, speaking to residents.
“I will compensate the victims even though I know this will not make you better. For now, we will take this child to the Patrol Guard office and investigate it further.”
After hearing Roland's words, the citizens finally began to disperse. Roland was the most respected person in this village besides Mr. Baron. After the crowd dispersed, Roland was approached by an old grandfather.
“Roland, we call the Priest from the Temple of Athens to do the testing.”
“Testing?” Hearing this, Roland's face turned grim.
“Yes, prepare for the worst.”

Roland and Sirius were in the Patrol Guard office. Roland was sitting on a chair accompanying Sirius who was sitting in the iron bars.
“Dad, I did not do it at all,” Sirius said softly.
“Ya, I know,” reply Roland briefly.
“So! Are you guys going to release me not long ago?” sirius asked a little excitedly.
Seeing the smile of his son, Roland's heart became very heavy.
“You will be released if Abbot of the Temple declares you harmless,” Roland replied while turning his eyes away.
“Dangerous? What do you mean, Dad!? Didn't you just say you trusted me!?” Sirius' voice sounded desperate as he asked that.
Not long after, the door of their room was opened revealing Beiron and a Priest.
“Welcome, Abbot Jeremiah. I apologize for inconveniencing you to come to this village,” said Roland who stood up to greet the priest.
“It's okay, I'm here just doing my duty to the Goddess. I don't think we need a base - stale, we just start the subject testing.”
They then went to the cell where Sirius was arrested. The priest then hungkos in front of Sirius and then placed his hand on Sirius' head. When they were done, they came back out of the cell.
“I can feel it, good work has told us to come here Captain. Command your men to send this symbol to the Temple.” The priest gave a Ring that had an emblem to Roland.
hearing his words, Roland's face looked extremely desperate.
“I will lure him out so that we are ready when the Inquisitors arrive, I advise you as his Father not to witness this.”
“No Sir, I will accompany him through this all.”
The priest then pulled out a knife and went back into the cell. Sirius who saw the sharp object started to get nervous.
“A-what will you do?”
“It's okay - what son, this is all for the good of us together.” The priest put his palm back on Sirius' head. He then thrust the knife into Sirius' palm.
“Uaghhhh! Nah! Nah! Pain,” screams not strong mehanan pain.
As Sirius screamed, the priest's palm began to shine. He then pulled out the knife in Sirius' palm and healed the wound with the light.
“It's okay, I'm doing this for the benefit of the world. In order to carry out the duties of the Goddess,” said the Priest who looks solidify his heart to torture small children.
“Uaghhh! Daddy's! Please, Daddy is sick! Why is!? Why!?”!
Hearing her son's screams, Roland's eyes began to glaze over.
The priest continued to torture Sirius and healed him again for several hours. Sirius had already run out of voice as he continued to scream. Sweat soaks the exhausted looking priest's clothes that continue – continuous use of healing magic.
“Eghhhh!”
The priest then thrust the knife back. Roland and the priest realized that the pupils of one of Sirius' eyes had turned blood red. After confirming the test results, the two of them then left Sirius.
“Very dear Captain,” said the Reverend looks sorry.
“Abbot, is there no way to make my child normal?”
“Deeing from his slow response to pain, I think your son became an Arbil only just this new –,” said the pastor. “Maybe we can return it if the purification process goes with lancer.”

A few hours later, Alissa and Albrech came to visit Sirius. Looking at his sister's expression that looked like someone was dead, Alissa was very worried. Alissa also imagined what had been passed by Sirius to be able to show such an expression.
“Ah, Sister Alissa. You came to visit?” ask Sirius lirih.
“Of course Sirius, you are my sister,” Alissa said as she approached and rubbed her sister's hair.
“I'm afraid.. “.
Alissa heard Sirius start crying.
“I was afraid, brother..” Sirius then held the hand of Alissa who was wiping her hair.
“Just calm Sirius, everything will be fine. I will definitely find a way for Sirius to get through this,” Alissa said trying to calm Sirius down.
“Please promise.. Promise me Brother will never leave me,” said Sirius who squeezed his brother's hand.
“Ummm... I promise.”
Not long after, the Reverend had returned with several Knights. Seeing his tormentor coming towards him, Sirius again became frightened.
“Sorry Miss, we have to bring the child to do the purgatory.”
Sirius is then carried with a chain that covers his neck. On the way, the villagers saw him with disdain and fear. Some even cursed at him.
They then arrived at a stretch of grassland on the outskirts of the village. The place where this all started. There was a pole attached and a magic circle surrounding it.
Sirius was then tied back to the pole in the care of several Knights who were none other than an Inquisitor surrounding him outside the circle.

“You don't need to watch this Alissa,” says Albrech.
“I've promised Albrech, I won't go leave him.”
The priest stood in front of Sirius and placed his palm on Sirius' head and said a few prayers. A short time later, a chain came out from the ground that bound Sirius's hands and feet. The priest then retreated out of the magic-circle and again recited a different prayer.
“Oh Goddess, protect us from the evil and deceitful Devil curse. PURIFICATION!”
“UAGGHHHHH!” Sirius screamed and felt his body burning.
“Please stop! Why is!? I never hurt anyone! Why!?”!
Roland and Alissa who witnessed this looked grim.
Shortly thereafter, Sirius's body changed. The pupils of both eyes became blood red and the look of the veins of his muscles became increasingly visible.
“You guys, help me. She started to transform into an Arbil.” embodiment
“Come out of the body of that innocent child DEVIL!!”
“Uaghhhhhh! Ahahaha! What do you mean?! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Stop!”
Sirius began to rebel and tried to break away from the magic-circle chain.
“Prepare your swords! He's going berserk!” order one of the Knights.
Roland and Albrech did as they were told.
Not long after, thanks to Sirius ceaselessly revolting, the chains holding him off were cut off from the magic circle the chains came out.
“Ahahaha why do you guys hate me so much oh Athenians?” followers said Sirius whose tone began to change.
Sirius then darted and attacked people who were in the procession of purification.

[Lena POV ]
I didn't know what had happened before but, after Sirius pushed me, he started acting like he was losing his mind.
He started screaming in pain, sad, angry. Just this time I felt a burst of emotion - a blast from Sirius.
“Why!!!??”
“Why are you doing this to me!?”
I then felt Sirius heading towards me. My breath became congested due to the extremely powerful killing aura of Sirius. What did he actually experience to make it that way?
“Am I a monster?”
I heard Sirius' voice. I want to say he's not a monster. There is still good that Sirius has and he can still change. However, my voice did not come out because of the greater fear I felt.
“You are just like everyone else! Die you!”
I sensed that Sirius was going to kill me.
“Ughhhhhh!”
Suddenly, I felt someone else's presence.
“I heard a fuss here so I tried to check it out. It turns out there was a former Arbil who was cursed by a Witch.”
“Eh? Wh-who are you?”
“Introduction later only, The man will rampage back.”

When Sirius regained his consciousness, Some Conferred Knights had collapsed, Roland lying unconscious. In front of him was Alissa who was trying to protect Albrech.
“Kak Alissa…. What really happened?”
Sirius tried to get close to Alissa, who was obviously very frightened.
“M-monster..”.
“Eh?”
Sirius heard faintly the voice of Alissa who was bowing.
“Seez away from us, Monster!”
Alissa showed her teary face to Sirius. In the gaze of his elder brother's eyes, Sirius felt a hatred directed at him.
‘Why?’
A badumm!
‘I just want to be strong and make you proud’
A badumm!
‘Why are you treating me like this?’
Bawm!
‘Why.... sister said that to me?”
Sirius' body began to change. His hair became longer, fangs began to come out in between his mouth, the whole part of his eyes now became blood red and a red symbol appeared on his cheeks.
“No, it's too late! He has become the perfect Arbil! He can no longer be returned, kill him!" order one of the Inquisitors.
Sirius again attacked them with a stronger force than before. With the perfect Arbil, the Inquisitors who were there were no longer able to hold Sirius back.
After slaughtering the Knights around him, Sirius then went towards the village to kill the citizens there. Sirius then massacred the people he met in the village. Young or old, male or female. Nothing escapes Sirius' anger. In this state, Sirius can see from his subconscious what his body has done.
‘So, huh? I finally understand why they did this to me’
‘There was a bloodthirsty monster that entered my body’
The houses began to burn. A small child was dragging an adult human. His facial expression looked sinister but, in his heart, he was crying out in despair.
‘Someone, anyone, stop me.’

[Lena POV ]
“Aghhh! You have great power too even though you have lost your curse.”
I heard the man who helped me was starting to get overwhelmed with Sirius.
What am I supposed to do? Goddess, why did you choose this useless me to be your chosen candidate?
“Ughhhhh!”
I felt the aura of killing Sirius being directed back at me. Back, my breath feels so tight.
I felt Sirius in front of me.
“Am I a monster?”
This time, I have to answer. Otherwise, I guess I'll lose Sirius forever. I will free him from the burden of his past whatever it is. So then! Please Goddess, give me the strength to face all the anger and sorrow of Sirius.
I walked over to Sirius.
“Hei Miss! Are you crazy!??”
I hugged Sirius and whispered the words I should have said long ago.
“You are not a monster Sirius. Anyone can make amends for all his mistakes. I'll help you get through it. So... please.. return as you were... “.
Without me noticing, tears began to pour down my cheeks as I hugged Sirius tighter.

“Aghhhhh! Help u! No monsters!”

“Please, forgive me!!”
Sirius' body began to be covered in the blood of the villagers. By this time, already half of the village's population had already been killed. The more the citizens feared Sirius, the more violent Sirius was towards them. Sirius' power responds to the citizens' fear of him.
‘Please anyone, stop me’
However, no one answered Sirius's request. He continued to continuously kill the citizens with a high killing aura.
‘Anyone, anyone.. kill this body.... I don't want my body to kill the people’
After a while, Sirius had almost killed the residents of his village. At that moment, he saw a female figure.
“Oh poor soul, you are very young but you have to go through something like this.”
Sirius approached the woman and said.
“A-are I a monster?” sirius asked with his monster body that began to shed tears.
“You are not a monster boy, I will find a way to cure you. Come with me and from now on, call me Master.”
“M-master?”
“And my name is....”.
Not long after, a bright light shone on Sirius.
He then awakens from his worst nightmare about the past. She then saw Lena hugging him.
‘This magic?”
There is a magic circle surrounding the bodies of Sirius and Lena.
“Si-sirius, have you returned?”
Sirius then looked at Lena's teary face.
“Ya... Thank you Lena, for bringing me back.”
“Thankful...”.
Lena then lost her consciousness and fell into Sirius' arms.
