"Hey?"
Kenzie smiled at Kimi's greeting. The girl who's been in her boyfriend for years.
The relationship between the two is too good. Exceptionally well. As long as they are together, the two complement and understand each other. That's what keeps their relationship away from fighting.
"Cock pouting?"
Kenzie raised his head. Staring at the girl with short brownish wig hair who was staring at her with bright eyes twinkle.
That made Kenzie smile.
"No. I'm not pouting." His eagle then stroked Kimi's cheek.
"Is there a problem?" Kenzie shook his head to answer Kimi's question.
"Not being honest?" The second question made Kenzie cringe.
He sat back in his chair, then his hand held Kimi's hand which was freed from the infuse hose.
The cancer that Kimi suffered was gone. The disease was successfully cured by great Doctors. But soon after, the cancer again damaged Kimi's body.
Kimi, who was declared cured of cancer, had to go back to war with cancer. Of course, it makes Kimi had dropped.
But thanks to the presence and spirit that Kenzie gave, Kimi is still able to fight cancer until now.
"I went to Hyera's house last night." Kimi's eyes stared in the shade at Kenzie. "Today he is 20 years old. I wish Hyera had gone out of the house, at least to breathe some air outside. But Hyera did not leave the house at all. I'm afraid Hyera is hurting herself inside her house. I'm afraid Hyera's doing something crazy. I'm..." Kenzie stopped his words when his thick lips were covered with Kimi's index finger.
"Stop scaring things that aren't necessarily happening Ken."
Kenzie's head shook slowly.
The hand that was holding Kimi's hand he came off.
"For the first time in a year, I'm looking at Hyera again. Kim Year. We're still in the same neighborhood. Our house is still facing. But I couldn't squirm his face. I can't beat him and can't tell him how he is."
Kenzie. He rested his forehead with both hands he clenched.
Eyes closed. The feeling of regret for not granting Dhafin's last request made him even more regretful. Plus looking at the scene of Hyera last night who pinched her away from the word okay the more make her regret.
The last message that Dhafin always says to her is, "keep my sister, I trust you." But truth? Kenzie couldn't even get into the house to make sure Hyera was.
Three years after Dhafin's departure. Hyera lives like a man who refuses to live but cannot die.
No more bright twinkle from his two round eyes. The sweet smile that became Kenzie's opium was no longer on display. Hyera had even more and more shut herself off from the surroundings.
"I'm sure Hyera will be fine." There was a bit of a sick feeling as Kimi said those words.
No, not because Kimi hoped bad things would happen to Hyera. Not at all.
Kimi doesn't want to be a hypocrite. He wished Hyera well. Kimi hopes Hyera can rise from her slump.
Kimi.
This is not the first time Kenzie has come to see her with a sour face. Thinking of Hyera who never went out of the house. Thinking of Hyera's fate inside the locked house. And think of Hyera's health.
Honestly, Kenzie had worried Hyera many times openly before him. At the beginning Kimi may be understood, but over time Kimi also felt a fire of jealousy in his chest.
If you were Kimi, would you feel the same way?
Sometimes the sense of inadmissibility always comes up.
Kimi knew they were both familiar and friends from childhood. But should Kenzie worry blatantly in front of him?
Does Kenzie realize that it makes Kimi hurt?
"Ken, can you ask me something?" Not looking up at the head just a pleasantie, Kenzie just nodded his head slowly without changing the position of his head.
Kimi sighed while smiling mirically. "Do you like Hyera?"
The three words that made Kenzie looked up directly at Kimi.
"What question is that?"
Kimi laughed when she heard the back question and not the answer.
"I just asked Ken. You're so worried about Hyera." Laughter could be thrown. A smile could be engraved. But who knows, it was Kimi gave just to cover up her heartache.
"Don't laugh. Nothing funny."
Even the laughter that Kimi uttered was not a funny laugh.
Kimi. Tender his back to the pillow that has been stacked.
In front of him was a rectangular glass that pointed right at his face.
Kimi's pastures looked at her increasingly pale face and the fake hair that became her headdress.
"My life is not long. God can take me when. Do you still not want to say?"
"What are you talking about? You must be healed. Trust me the same. God love you, you've been healed, you've only been told to be stronger."
Kimi glanced at Kenzie and smiled.
"You don't know what it's like to have Ken's deadly disease. Do you know what? Every time I close my eyes to sleep, I worry that tomorrow I can no longer open my eyes. I'm afraid God took my life right when I slept."
Kenzie got up from his seat. Cupped Kimi's two cheeks and kissed Kimi's forehead at a glance.
"You must be healed. Believe in God's miracle, you're healed."
Kimi smiled at Kenzie. "Take your honest feelings before I go Ken."
Kenzie. "Nobody needs to be north of Kim. I love you, you know that, right?"
The smile was still printed clearly and did not fade from Kimi's thin lips. "I am thankful that God gave me the most beautiful love. I was grateful when I found out my story was more beautiful than Hyera's. I'm grateful that even though I'm seriously ill, but my parents are still intact, my friends are many, and I have your rich love, I'm grateful to Ken."
Thin smile Kenzie carves hearing Kimi's speech.
"But I can't keep getting rich." Kenzie's forehead is wrinkled. "I know you don't love me. I know you love Hyera more than I do."
Kenzie was silent to Kimi's words.
Not once did Kenzie ask his heart, did he really like Hyera all this time?Or just care?
Kimi smiled even wider as Kenzie remained silent and could not return his words.
"Tell me that Hyera's out of her house. There's a lot I want to get to him. There's a lot I want to point to him." Kenzie stared deeply into Kimi's eyeballs. "Don't worry, I won't hurt Hyera. I just hope Hyera gets out of the house before God takes my life."
