I am still struggling with my work. This morning's rain still faithfully accompanies me to this very moment. Ahh. It was not just the rain that accompanied me. The music of the ballad that I always play without getting bored. One of his favorite music that he used to listen to for me.
A song I like so much.
My name is Hyera Jenaro. You can call me Hyera. I'm disabled. Not a birth defect. But I was handicapped by an accident when I was five.
I'm Dhafin Jenaro's brother. A very amazing sister. I love him, very much. From the beginning, even to the end of my breath I will continue to love him.
It's not just him I love. There is one more man I love very much. The one now stands beside me and stands ready to take care of me. Thank you for staying with me until this moment.
Waiting for rain is actually a little boring. Although I love the rain, but I have an appointment to meet someone tonight.
One of my favorite cappuchino coffees I've prepared. I'm sure he'll be happy. He is the man I love so much and never thought I would be able to be with him despite having to go through the twists and turns of a story that was not beautiful enough.
I want to share my story with him whom I have always adored as an idol. Nostalgic for my High School days might not matter, because I will keep reminiscing about that time, until I am old.

Intentionally not going to school is not a good reason. I'm not sick, nor am I wayward, but I just feel unworthy to be among the many normal people out there.
Although some people like to use me, but I am grateful because there are still people who love me. There are still people who understand my condition, and they don't stay away from me. Including Kenzie, my friend.
I was too scared to be around them. Fear of being a stain to those who are perfect.
Let me tell you a little bit why I consider myself incomplete.
One key you need to know, Hearing Aid.
Yeah, I'm wearing it. I need it to help me hear more clearly.
I had hearing damage when I was 5 years old. In the past, our family had a terrible accident. I still remember all those events, even still very clearly in my brain as if it had just happened.
Our car was hit by a large truck that lost control while the driver was sleepy but still forced to drive.
The truck driver survived, but is still languishing behind bars due to his negligence. It's just that the accident left us all in the hospital. Me, my father, my mother, and my brother. We all have pretty bad injuries.
My father died at the scene. Three days later, my mother followed my father. I'm still unconscious from the coma. Three months later I just woke up from my sleep.
And when I woke up, I got some pretty mentally disturbing news, right then.
Hyera, a 5-year-old girl, lost both her parents and her hearing.
Lucky I didn't lose Dhafin. My brother was too strong to go through all of those events. The doctor said there was no serious damage to my brother's body. He even fell asleep for a day and cried when Kak Dhafin knew that his mother had left us.
I was 5 at the time, and my 10-year-old brother was very young to be able to deal with all those painful events. We are confused as to what it should be like. Moreover, my brother, who had to support me when his age was still quite small.
Luckily Kenzie and his family helped us. Doctor Aber and his son Kak Andrian also helped us.
I am grateful that there are them. Otherwise, me and Brother Dhafin would be confused as to how to continue living at our very young age.
“No more school?”
I looked towards the source of the sound. My sister was staring at me. I don't know since when, but judging from his very neat suit maybe he will go to the cafe.
“Why?” Ask again.
“You want to join brother to cafe? There's Brother Andrian there. You can play with him.”
Although Kak Andrian is the same age as Kak Dhafin, his adorable manner and face sometimes make him look the same age as me.
“I miss Daddy Same Mother.” Looking at the vast land with the many flower plants, made me miss the figure of my parents.
There, the little garden that my father created for me and Kak Dhafin played. Mother who beautifies her garden by planting beautiful flowers and arranging very neat.
I miss the time when my brother and I were playing chases, while my mom and dad were sitting on chairs and drinking tea. By late afternoon, they'll call us to join her desk.
A memory that sometimes slices my heart.
Sit on the bench I am sitting on. A place that gives a beautiful twilight story with my parents.
How I sulked wanting to drink Dad's coffee, but because I was a little girl Dhafin replaced it with chocolate milk placed in Dad's cup. Deceived me with his carefree laugh as if it was the same coffee that Dad drank.
I miss them.
“You visited mom's dad?”
I stared at the two brown beads of Kak Dhafin. It's too selfish for me to be sad all along. “No Brother,” in my opinion, visiting them only makes me miss them even more.
“Kenzie knows you're ditching?”
I nodded faintly, and Brother Dhafin replied with a soft sigh.
“Do not dissolve in sadness. You don't pity Brother who's still here?”
I looked at Dhafin again. Too often he said “still here” as if at that time he wanted to go with Father and Mother.
“Kak don't want to go to cafe?” Ask me to divert the sadness.
My sister has a cafe. Not large, just medium-sized. Close to the campus area, but very crowded whether it's a normal day or weekend.
Brother Dhafin used to have one employee, his name was Kak Leo. The one I used to like. But ever since Leo moved to Germany, Dhafin took care of his own cafe.
Not looking for more employees, he said not to waste a lot of money.
If the weekend comes, sometimes Kenzie and I help Kak Dhafin at the cafe.
“Yes, I have to go to the cafe. You want to come?”
Looking at Kak Dhafin's offer, I stared at the palms resting on the table.
The two hands that fought so hard for my life. Being a big brother and a great parent so I don't get lonely.
Our parents' property is plenty. So much for those of us who don't have a family. My brother and I share the same principles. Not wanting to scatter Father Mother's legacy for the sake of foya-foya is not important to follow the passions for a moment.
“You don't?” Ask her again. As I nodded, I agreed.
Sending a message to Kenzie, after which I followed Brother Dhafin who stood up. Holding my hand and leading me to his black motorbike parked in the garage.
The distance between my house and the cafe is not far. It was only 15 minutes, and we arrived.
There were a lot of people standing around the cafe. Waiting for when the cafe opens. Kak Dhafin is open every morning at 09.00. But visitors have started pacing back and forth from 08:00 in the morning.
“Serious sister don't want to find an employee? Every day rame loh kak.”
Slightly glanced around, then Kak Dhafin said with ease. “For what to look for employees if no one is as handsome as me?”
I turned lazy eyeball, “It should be handsome?”
“Iya dong's. In addition to its good food and drink, appearance should also be number one.” Justifying the door that just opened, Kak Dhafin again said, “Visitors today are hypocritical. If the employees are not handsome, and the place is not instagramable rarely among those who want to stop by.”
If I can be honest, I justify my sister's words.
I did too, every time Kenzie and I looked for a place to eat on the weekend, we would definitely find a place that has the best photo spot. Otherwise, it feels a bit strange.
Lucky Kak Andrian who designed the cafe Kak Dhafin. The design and design were made with his own hands. He is a good at drawing, so the results do not need to be doubted.
I followed my sister's footsteps into the cafe. Looking around the cafe, until my eyes looked at the family photo displayed in the corner of the wall with a small gray frame.
Our family photos. Complete with Mom and Dad while both are still alive. Photos taken a week before the accident claimed their lives.
“Kenzie will come after school, you can wait for her inside if you get bored.”
“No. I'll just help brother. Who knows, its visitors come twice as much.” I said in a confident tone that I ended up with my signature grin.
Sister Dhafin commented a knotty smile. Scrambled my hair, then gave me a black apron. “If you are tired, directly say brother. Adek sister should not be tired in the least.”
“Ayayy Captain!”
