"Why? Don't you love Miss Xue? Because of me, the two of you separated, it was your chance to kill me when I insulted you so much" Ying Lili said. Sheng Li sneered and asked why he now wanted so badly to die.
"Because you keep killing my people from Juyan," Ying Lili said.
"When did I kill someone from Juyan? Before the bloodshed actually took place, your father surrendered and a marriage alliance was put forward. I didn't even touch them," Sheng Li replied and took out a small bottle of medicine from inside his pocket. "Lying straight. This medicine needs to be applied over the wound," Sheng Li said as he showed Ying Lili the medicine bottle.
"I'll propose to myself. You almost killed me earlier," Ying Lili took the medicine bottle from Sheng Li's hand.
"You infuriated me back then," Sheng Li replied in a low voice. Ying Lili sat on the bed and turned her back towards Sheng Li, The crown princess opened the bandage on her neck gently and placed it on the mattress. He opened the medicine bottle and placed the powder on his right palm. He trembled as he applied the medicine on top of his wound. "Ahh," he shouted softly.
Sheng Li grabbed onto Ying Lili's arm and turned it towards her. "Are you kids? Just put it there," Sheng Li scolded him and directly applied the powder over his wound. "Ahh," Ying Lili shouted and gripped Sheng Li's hand tightly. "It stings," Ying Lili complained and closed her eyes tightly.
"What kind of "warrior are you? It was just a small wound and you cried like a child. Did you really defeat the general of the neighborhood army? The sword fight today tells me something about you," Sheng Li confirmed. Ying Lili opened her eyes and peered into Sheng Li's eyes. "What thing?" he asked curiously.
Sheng Li leaned closer to Ying Lili and tilted her neck slightly to gain access to her neck. He took the powder from Ying Lili's palm and gently applied it there. He then blew out air and raised his eyes to meet with Ying Lili's gaze to reply. "I found out that we will do this every day," Sheng Li replied.
"For you to make a drama with me every day?" Ying Lili questioned him with a frown.
Sheng Li smiled at him. "Lili, from tomorrow it will be different. Whoever is to be defeated must fulfill one desire for another. Let's say if you are defeated then you will fulfill my wish and vice versa," said Sheng Li, boring his gaze to Ying Lili.
"I don't want to do it again. I don't trust you anymore" Ying Lili said and averted her eyes. Sheng Li threatened and grabbed Ying Lili's chin gently. Making her look at him, Sheng Li said, "You have no right to choose."
"Make me meet my friend first and I want to meet Su Binxi as well," Ying Lili filed two terms in front of Sheng Li.
"I'll let you meet Hu Jingguo but for Su Binxi you can't meet. He was the first prince's spy and now, I won't give any further details to you," Sheng Li said with a stern expression.
"He's not even 18 yet" Ying Lili murmured and lowered her gaze.
"How do you know? Lili, I already told you that this is a palace where everyone wants another downfall. You should thank me that I have kept you away from such politics but until when? Don't trust anyone. Here except me," Sheng Li manifested as he pulled back his hand from Ying Lili's chin.
"I don't trust you," Ying Lili said simply.
"Send inside," Sheng Li ordered in a loud enough voice.
"Come, let's have lunch. I'm hungry after talking to you," Sheng Li confirmed and stood up from the bed. He passed his hand towards Ying Lili who was not holding it. Sheng Li then grabbed his arm and pulled him up. "When I offer help then you will accept it without ignoring it," Sheng Li said as he removed his hand from Ying Lili's arm.
The two of them sat on their respective chairs around the table. Ying Lili opened the lid from the top of the bowl. "What's this?" Ying Lili asked as she looked into the bowl.
Court Lady Xu picked up the porcelain plates and chopsticks to inspect the food. After Lady Xu finished eating, he told the crown prince and the crown princess to start eating and walked out from there.
Ying Lili took a spoon and drank her soup. He started coughing which confused Sheng Li and he quickly poured water into the silver glass for Ying Lili. The crown prince handed the glass to Ying Lili and told her to drink. Ying Lili quickly drank the water and then glared at Sheng Li.
"Are you taking revenge on me?" Ying Lili asked angrily. Tears had formed in his eyes.
"I think you like spicy food," Sheng Li said with a frown. "Why are you mad at me?" Sheng Li asked him.
"I don't eat spicy food. You pranked me that day. That's why I'm angry," Ying Lili said and stood up from her seat. "I want to ask you something" Ying Lili proclaimed.
"Yes, speak up," Sheng Li allowed the crown princess.
"Let me meet Hu Jingguo today. To be honest, I was worried about him because he was badly injured. You punished him without a second thought" Ying Lili said. Sheng Li put the spoon on the table and stood up. Sheng Li stepped closer to Ying Lili. "Lili, but you didn't give me the answer to the question I asked you before. If you want to answer me and then obey him, I will consider taking you there," Sheng Li cleared himself.
Ying Lili nodded. "I will have a sword fight every day with you and whoever loses must fulfill the winner's wish" Ying Lili proclaimed, looking at Sheng Li's eyes. "One more thing I want to say," Ying Lili added further.
"Say," Sheng Li allowed the crown princess.
"You can't ask my heart to you" Ying Lili said.
The crown prince started laughing which confused the crown princess. Controlling his laughter, Sheng Li stepped closer to Ying Lili. "Lili, did you forget our wedding night?" Sheng Li asked Ying Lili.
"What do you mean?" Ying Lili asked.
"That you will never warm my bed," Sheng Li said, emphasizing his words. "We have a very strange relationship, Lili. But, watch out!" Sheng Li sounded rather threatening. "Don't fall in love with me because if you fall in love with me, it will be hard for you to hang on with me" Sheng Li confirmed and smiled.
