Han Wenji smiled after hearing the crown princess. "The crown prince still thinks that the crown prince would do something like this? If he had to kill King Song, he would have killed him the moment he entered Juyan. It's not about his father's trust in him but also his father's words to your father" Han Wenji said.

An-Ying Lili still did not want to believe that. "Your Majesty, I may seem rude to you but the person who killed so many people in his life can kill my father as well. My uncle can't lie to me. He told me that how the crown prince planned all this. I agreed to marry him then why did he kill my father the day I came here. There is only hatred in my heart for the crown prince." Ying Lili's face became watery as she said all this to the Emperor.

His voice choked as tears fell on his cheeks. “Indeed, my job now is to follow my husband but I'm afraid I can't do this. The one who kills the most precious person in my life will only accept my hatred, not love. Miss Xue is her lover and I don't have any problems with their relationship" Ying Lily proclaimed unequivocally.

Han Wenji discovered the misunderstanding between the crown prince and the crown princess was huge. "Crown Princess, you are a smart woman. Do you think your father was killed by Sheng Li? "Your Majesty, what if your son becomes the real culprit? Is His Majesty still punishing him? Forgive me for asking such harsh questions but this is about justice and I am sure Emperor Han will not take sides if the crown prince is found guilty" Ying Lili said in a stern tone.

"Sheng Li has not killed King Song. After a week you'll find out the real culprit, the crown princess. These are the words of a father before the Emperor," Han Wenji said with a smile. "If Sheng Li was a bad person then he would have killed the crown princess on the road instead of bringing her here. Just think about it," Han Wenji further uttered.

"Sheng Li doesn't love Miss Xue. Since he was with her in childhood, Sheng Li was attracted to her. I hope the crown princess will try to understand the crown prince through her heart," Han Wenji said with a small smile.

An-Ying Lili thought hard after hearing that. He shook his head and then lowered his head in front of the emperor. "I'll go, Your Majesty. You should also enter as the weather gets colder," Ying Lili said.

"The Crown Princess will leave. I will stay here for a few more minutes," Han Wenji said. An-Ying Lili nodded and stepped back then turned to leave. He continued walking and found Court Lady Xu. "Your Majesty, it's late at night. Come back to the Inn," the Palace Mistress said softly.

Ying Lili agreed with the palace woman. They stepped forward when something hit the head of the crown princess. He stopped at his place as well as the maids and maids of the palace behind him. "Your Majesty, what happened?" Court Lady Xu asked.

"Miss Court Xu, please show me the way to the crown prince's residence," Ying Lili said in a commanding tone.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. But, in the middle of the night His Majesty is not allowed to go to the crown prince's room," Palace Lady Xu replied.

"I have to talk to the crown prince about an important matter" Ying Lili said. Court Lady Xu was still adamant over the Palace's rules when Ying Lili said, "Miss Court Xu, you must not defy the crown princess's orders." Court Lady Xu apologized for her stubbornness and led the way towards the crown prince's residence.

Eunuch Xing-Fu saw the crown princess coming there so he ran towards her. Subduing her head Xing-Fu spoke, "Your Majesty, why are you here late tonight?"

"I need to meet Your Majesty," Ying Lili replied.

"I apologize to Your Majesty but you cannot meet the crown prince at this hour. I'll tell Your Majesty about your visit to the Inn," Xing-Fu said.

"Eunuch Xing-Fu, I would like to meet His Majesty. This is an order. Please send a waiter from outside the room. I'll leave for a while," Ying Lili with a stern expression told Xing-Fu who was looking at Lady Xu Court who turned her eyes away. He understood that the crown princess did not listen to Xu's palace woman, nor did she oppose.

Ying Lili glanced at Xing-Fu who understood what the crown princess meant. He told the servants to stand ten meters away from the door following the orders. Ying Lili stepped in as Xing-Fu opened the door for her.

Han Sheng Li was still drinking wine when he heard the sound of anklets. He raised his eyes and found Ying Lili before his eyes. "What are you doing here at this late hour?" Sheng Li asked with a desperate expression, staring intently at Ying Lili.

Stopping a meter from the table, the crown princess looked at the wine jar placed on the round wooden table.

The crown prince did not say anything after that and continued drinking, staring at Ying Lili. Ying Lili recalled her conversation with the Emperor. The two of them stared at each other for a while.

When Sheng Li did not stop drinking, Ying Lili came up to him and knelt down. Sheng Li was confused as Ying Lili grabbed the porcelain cup. The two of them stared at each other as Ying Lili pulled the cup towards him and placed it on the table.

"You can't drink too much. It was not good for health," Ying Lili uttered and met Sheng Li's gaze.

"What happened to you all of a sudden? Caring for me? Wait, or did you come here to kill me in my drunken state. Ying Lili, I'm not that easy to kill," Sheng Li announced and smirked at him.

"Your Majesty has told me that he will punish the perpetrator behind the murder of my father. I've come to tell you that you will be punished for the wrong you have done to my father and family" Ying Lili said with a stern expression and woke up. Han Sheng Li grinned after hearing Ying Lili's words. He saw the crown princess had turned to leave when he grabbed her wrist and the next second the crown princess was on the crown prince's lap.

Their faces are close to each other. Sheng Li's alcoholic breath smashed onto Ying Lili's lips which both of his hands placed on the crown prince's wide shoulders. He tried to escape but Sheng Li pulled him closer, tightening his grip on his waist.

"Leave me," Ying Lili resolutely told Sheng Li. He struggled on Sheng Li's lap while Sheng Li astonishedly looked at him, enjoying it.

"When you know I'm drunk, why are you approaching me?" Sheng Li asked the crown princess. The crown prince raised his index finger and traced Ying Lili's facial line. Ying Lili was nervous and she turned her face away. "Don't touch me," Ying Lili said in a low voice and pushed Sheng Li using both of her hands that were on Sheng Li's shoulders but were useless.

Sheng Li chuckled and placed his finger under Ying Lili's chin, thus forcing her to look into his eyes. "You think I like touching you? The crown princess lives in her greatest illusion. I might like to touch other women out there but not you" Sheng Li said.

"Let me go, then," Ying Lili uttered.

"Are you not here to sleep with me?" Sheng Li questioned Ying Lili with raised eyebrows. His grin grew wider as Ying Lili turned her gaze again from Sheng Li.

"Answer. The empress must have told you a way to seduce a man because I didn't give you enough attention" Sheng Li said in a loud roaring voice in the bedroom, making the crown princess look at him again.

Ying Lili was furious after hearing this. "What are you talking about? I shouldn't have come here," Ying Lili muttered and jerked Sheng Li's hand from her chin. "Let me go. You can enjoy your drink," Ying Lili said.

"You have entered the residence of the crown prince where a person enters and leaves only with his permission. I don't want to let you go today. Let's sleep together. I'll please you and fulfill your wishes." Sheng Li said with a grin.

Ying Lili slapped him which made Sheng Li furious. "How dare you say that? When I told you that I was here because-" Before he could finish his words, Sheng Li caught his lips and kissed him violently. Ying Lili tried to push him but she did not flinch instead tightening her grip on Ying Lili's waist.
