Chapter 13: I am lost in beauty

"Ying'er, are you sure you want me to be tough on you as a warrior? I was worried that I might hurt His Majesty," Jian Guozhi expressed his concern.

An-Ying Lili smiled faintly to Jian Guozhi and spoke, "Sister man first, you are also a trained warrior so, I don't think you will hurt me." Ying Lili tightened her grip on the handle. Jian Guozhi distanced herself from An-Ying Lili and the two for a while just stared at each other, waiting for the attack.

Five other half-brothers came there and saw the crown princess with the sword. "What does the crown princess do?" Lei Wanxi asked from Su Binxi who, immediately lowered her eyes.

"Wanxi, can't you see His Majesty fighting with the first elder brother? His Majesty is also an expert in warfare. The crown prince was lucky to have the crown princess as the other half," Yongzheng proclaimed and continued to move the fan slightly under his face.

Jian Guozhi decided to attack first and ran towards Ying Lili who was positioning her feet and defending Jian Guozhi's attack. The sound of the sword clanking was so high that it hit the ears sharply. The youngest prince, Weng Yu closed his eyes tightly looking at that and covered his eyes with his palm. But, he kept watching from between his fingers.

"Whoa! Will the crown princess defeat the elder brother first?" Rong Zemin nervously said and looked at Yongzheng who shrugged. "Let's keep watching," Yongzheng confirmed and the two looked to the ground where the crown princess and the first Prince were doing that sword fight.

Jian Guozhi widened his eyes and then quickly brought his sword forward and the two blades back hitting each other. "Ying'er is quite skilled," Jian Guozhi said and with lightning speed moved backwards, dodging the crown princess' attack. Cutting swords at each other, none of them were ready to repeat.

The movement of their legs lined up makes their movements appear synchronous with each other. Jian Guozhi grabbed An-Ying Lili's wrist and pulled her so that her back hit her chest. "I think the crown princess was defeated," Jian Guozhi confirmed and smirked at Ying Lili.

"I knew the elder brother would first defeat the crown princess. Wait," Rong Zemin saw something unusual that surprised him.

Ying Lili had twisted the sword in her hand and raised her hand up to the first prince's shoulder, directing the sword blade towards Jian Guozhi's neck. "First brother, what do you want to say now?" Ying Lili asked Jian Guozhi with a smile.

The brothers on the stairs clapped their hands at that. They descended the stairs to approach them while Su Binxi remained glued to the stairs.

"I guess I got lost in the beauty of the crown princess that rendered me helpless" Jian Guozhi whispered in Ying Lili's ear. Ying Lili furrowed her brows and found them standing close to each other inappropriately. He removed his wrist from Jian Guozhi's gentle grip and placed his other hand down.

Stepping back, Ying Lili put her hands together and lowered her eyes. "I am happy to be able to fight peacefully with the first elder brother," Ying Lili told Jian Guozhi and raised her head. Jian Guozhi also lowered his head accepting his defeat. "I'm glad to be able to fight with the crown princess."

The princes stopped clapping and approached them. "The crown prince possesses outstandingly formidable skills," Yongzheng praised Ying Lili. "Until this moment, I cannot defeat big brother first but, Your Majesty did it for the first time" Yongzheng said.

"I think the first brother was too easy on me. I will be defeated if he is a bit more ferocious" said the crown princess.

"Will the crown princess teach me swordsmanship?" Weng Yu asked with a slightly doubtful tone.

"It is with great pleasure that I will teach the swordsmanship of prince Yu to his youngest brother. Please don't use that title. All of you should call me Sister Lili or Sister An-Ying," Ying Lili proclaimed. Weng Yu was happy to hear it and quickly approached the crown princess.

"Sister Lili, you are truly beautiful," Weng Yu emphasized the word 'beautiful'. Ying Lili thanked the youngest Prince for his words worthy of praise. "Don't tell the fifth brother otherwise he will be angry because I didn't study under the guidance of the military general" continued Weng Yu.

"That's why Weng Yu can't learn swordsmanship from Lili's sister. The crown prince can take another way," said Rong Zemin.

An-Ying Lili realized what she just said. "First brother, why are you calling Sister Lili like that? Is it not used for the people closest to you," Lei Wanxi questioned Jian Guozhi as she summoned Ying Lili as Ying'er.

"I think we are all family, so there is no harm in calling the crown princess as Ying'er, Wanxi," Jian Guozhi said.

“Crown Prince won't say anything. You are a little brother to me, prince Yu. So, there was no harm in teaching Prince Yu swordsmanship,” Ying Lili argued.

The fourth prince, Han Nianzu was watching all from a platform high above the ground. "The first brother did notice the woman of the fifth brother. Does he know about this or will he ignore this?" Nianzu muttered and turned to leave when she saw Xue Yu Yan there.

"What is Miss Xue doing here, at the training ground of the princes?" Nianzu asked Xue Yu Yan who greeted the fourth Prince first before speaking.

"The crown prince flirted openly with the palace princes. Don't you think so, Your Majesty?" Xue Yu Yan asked from Nianzu who was smiling faintly at him.

"I think Miss Xue has taken the other way out of the cordial & friendly relationship between the prince and the crown princess" Nianzu said. "May I ask what Miss Xue is doing here?" Nianzu further asked.

"I'm here to see the crown prince, Your Majesty," Xue Yu Yan replied.

Nianzu was not surprised to hear that. "I think Miss Xue should limit her visit to Her Majesty. He is now officially married. I think Miss Xue understood what I meant," Nianzu declared and left from there. Xue Yu Yan stomped her feet to the floor and clenched her fists. "Miss, don't be angry. The crown prince still loves my wife" said his assistant, Wu Shan.

"Let's go to His Majesty's room," Xue Yu Yan told Wu Shan and they left from there.

Ying Lili took him to go and climb the stairs when Su Binxi told Ying Lili that the crown princess should serve morning food to the crown chief. Ying Lili first refused but when Su Binxi told her that the people of the Palace would take another path, Ying Lili agreed.

They went to the Royal Kitchen. The royal chef above the crown princess prepared a breakfast meal for the crown prince. The food tray is filled with 7 dishes for breakfast. Su Binxi brought a tray and showed the way to the crown prince's inn to the crown princess.
