Chapter 21: Want to spend one more night

Sheng Li was furious after hearing the statement that opposed him. "A ruthless man like him?" the crown prince muttered and saw Ying Lili was about to step out. Immediately, he stood up from his seat and walked towards Ying Lili. Even if the crown prince drank a lot, he was sane and healthy. Ying Lili stretched out her hand to open the door as she turned around by the crown prince.

Both of his hands were clamped to the wooden door by the crown prince. They glared at each other as Sheng Li leaned closer to Ying Lili's lips. "Why are you bothering me so much? First, you openly seduce your first brother, then you instead listen to your husband tell your servant about our relationship. Then, you convinced the Empress to arrange a wedding night for us. The words I said on the wedding night can't be digested by you that's why you planned all this, right?" Sheng Li asked questions one after another from An-Ying Lili.

"You're still like that? I told you I didn't seduce the first brother. Do you think of me as that kind of woman? No doubt, you have a low mind. Besides, it doesn't matter to you what I do or what I don't!? I didn't say anything to His Majesty either. Why would I ask for a night with you when I want to run away from you?" Ying Lili asked Sheng Li.

Ying Lili chuckled. "Why should I be afraid? Sheng Li, you're the one who came to me. You were the one who forced yourself upon me this morning and just a moment ago. You are not mine, nor are you mine.any rights are mine. So, stop thinking that I will ever listen to you," Ying Lili insisted and kicked Sheng Li on one leg.

Her grip loosened from Ying Lili's hand when she got the chance to escape from there. Sheng Li chuckled just looking at the woman's movements. Before Ying Lili could return out of her room, she was carried by the crown prince in bridal style. He struggled in Sheng Li's arms as he was thrown into the bed. Ying Lili moved back and banged against the wall because her bed was quite small, stuck to the side wall, unlike the bed in her room.

Sheng Li pulled one of Ying Lili's legs, pulling her towards him. Floating above Ying Lili, Sheng Li spoke. "This is the best way to put an end to rumors, and believe me if you ever act recklessly then I'm not going to spare you. Up until now, I was tolerant with you because I didn't want a good woman like you to see this cruel other person aside," Sheng Li said in a threatening tone.

Ying Lili stutteredly said, "J-don't do anything to me."

"Why? You will please your husband as well" Sheng Li said with a grin and leaned closer to him. Ying Lili became stiff due to Sheng Li's weight, unable to move even an inch. Sheng Li noticed the crown princess was quite scared just by the thought that she could do something to him.

Ying Lili discovered that Sheng Li's anger had dissipated while talking to her, and she did not hurt him in any other way which made her a little relieved. Punishing those close to him. He remembered how Su Binxi was taken away by him, what was the point that he would punish the female servant when they did not even do anything.

"You used cowardly means to punish me," Ying Lili said.

Sheng Li timidly smiled. "You're a naive woman! You don't understand my words. All right, let's go to bed. It's late at night," Sheng Li said with his eyes growing heavier from the wine drunkenness he had consumed and pulled his blanket up, covering them with it. Sheng Li moved from above Ying Lili's body and turned his face away. Ying Lili was happy that Sheng Li had done nothing to her.

He dragged himself against the wall, turning to the wall not wanting to get close to Sheng Li. "Don't go tonight if you don't want to spend another night with this cruel man. This is the most ruthless man like me that can be expected from a good woman like you," Sheng Li said. His eyes closed as if he would fall asleep at any moment.

Ying Lili discovered that the crown prince had turned gently towards her. "Good people die," muttered Sheng Li, who Ying Lili heard. He was confused as to why he said that. The crown princess turned to the crown prince and saw a drop of tears streaming down her cheeks. This confused him. He raised his hand and grabbed it onto Sheng Li's cheek. That finger will touch the crown prince's cheek when he catches it.

Ying Lili blinked her eyes nervously as Sheng Li caught his finger and looked at him. He thought he had fallen asleep but to his surprise, he was still awake. The two looked into each other's eyes. "You didn't see or hear anything. Forget this face," Sheng Li uttered with blood-red eyes. Ying Lili did not dare to ask anything more and pulled her hand back, but Sheng Li did not let go.

"L-go," Ying Lili said in a low voice. Sheng Li let go of his hand and turned his face away. Ying Lili was confused by what she had just heard. "Did she really cry?" he wondered, continuing to stare at the crown prince who had turned his back on him.
