Chapter 24: Loving other women than her

Ying Lili followed Sheng Li who was walking fast. With a large dress, it was difficult to walk with the steps of the crown prince. He was at a loss whether the crown prince was angry or he was hungry because he was walking at such a pace. Ying Lili lifted her high waist skirt slightly and ran after Sheng Li. Court Mistress Xu, Eunuch Xing-Fu, and the other six maids also began to chase after Ying Lili.

The crown princess blinked her eyes and then spoke, "Because we're heading in the same direction to the breakfast room. And, I wonder why you didn't say anything inside? You told me that you were going to marry Miss Xue, then why? you changed your mind all of a sudden?" Ying Lili asked her question and then placed her hand right under Sheng Li's right shoulder to push him away.

"How do I know?" Ying Lili muttered.

Sheng Li chuckled after hearing Lili's short reply. "I am a one-woman man. I've thought through many things and come to the conclusion that I will continue playing with you, Lili," Sheng Li said with a smile. Ying Lili felt Sheng Li's hot breath on her cheek and then looked at her. "But I don't want you to play games with me. Don't we both agree that we won't intervene in each other's lives?" Ying Lili asked curiously.

"I don't remember me saying those words to you. Instead, I told you that playing with you would be fun," Sheng Li said. Eunuch Xing-Fu and Court Mistress Xu glanced at the crown prince and the crown princess.

"Go away from me," Ying Lili told Sheng Li when the first Prince came there with his younger siblings. Seeing the crown prince and the crown princess, all the brothers cleared their throat. Ying Lili looked at them and encouraged Sheng Li. Lowering his eyes, he greeted all the brothers. Sheng Li smiled and looked at his half-brother.

"It seems like the crown prince can't stop himself from getting closer to His Majesty," Jian Guozhi uttered and then looked at Ying Lili.

"Sister Lili, you look beautiful in this rose pink dress," the second prince, Yongzheng praised Ying Lili who thanked the second prince for his kind words. "Let's go," Sheng Li told Ying Lili and stepped forward as Jian Guozhi said something that angered the crown prince.

"Ying'er, you'll be happy now. The crown prince will no longer see another woman except you," Jian Guozhi. The other brothers were puzzled to hear those words.

"The first prince should not use the title for the crown princess and he should not tell Lili whether I saw her or not" Sheng Li said. "Nobody is allowed to call him by his name. Use that title for him. I don't want to repeat it" Sheng Li continued. Ying Lili glanced at him but did not speak anything.

"It looks like the crown prince is jealous of the closeness we are brothers with Yinger" Jian Guozhi said. "I want to listen to Ying'er about this. If he was going to say it, we brothers would start using that title," Jian Guozhi said, glaring into Sheng Li's eyes. The other brothers looked at each other. Weng Yu was already feared by Sheng Li whom he had hidden behind his sixth brother, Lei Wanxi.

"I like to call the crown princess as Sister Lili," Sheng Li heard Weng Yu go berserk, but at that moment Ying Lili intervened. “If the crown prince wants the title it should be used to call my name, I want to ask all the brothers to use it. I apologize for my immature behavior before,” Ying Lili said. Jian Guozhi clenched his fists as anger peaked within him.

Weng Yu had lowered his eyes and in a timid voice said, "Your Majesty, I don't want to."

"I didn't give you a choice. If you don't want to come then ..."

"How can you talk to a kid like this? You scared the youngest Prince," Ying Lili cut off Sheng Li's words in the middle. All the princes looked at each other as Ying Lili was informal with the crown prince and also scolded him. Lei Wanxi could not help but laugh and ended up laughing.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty," Lei Wanxi lowered her head in front of Sheng Li who a moment ago gave her a deadly look.

"Sister Yu, I'll be there too. The crown prince wants you to be strong and if you don't practice then you won't be considered a warrior. Don't you want to be like your father and brother?" Ying Lili asked Weng Yu. Sheng Li looked at the crown princess and was surprised to see that he was siding with her.

"I want to be a brother .. I mean the crown prince," Weng Yu raised his eyes to look at Sheng Li who was staring at him. Immediately, he lowered his eyes in fear of the crown prince. Ying Lili observed the fear in Weng Yu's eyes when she heard Sheng Li, "You don't need to come. Live like a coward." Without waiting there, Sheng Li left.

Weng Yu's eyes were filled with tears. Lei Wanxi placed her hand on Weng Yu's shoulder and pulled him closer. "Are you going to stand there?" Ying Lili heard Sheng Li's loud voice. Ying Lili lowered her head and walked forward towards the crown prince followed by the servants behind her.

"I think the crown prince's relationship has been good with the crown princess. It's nice to see them like this" Yongzheng said. Han Nianzu agreed with the Second Prince and they walked towards the hall of greeting.

Ying Lili stopped near Sheng Li and asked why she was angry at the youngest Prince. "Do you not want to eat?" Sheng Li asked Ying Lili, ignoring her question. Ying Lili noticed that something was going on with the crown prince, so, she did not bother him by asking any more questions. The two of them went towards the crown prince's room where the two of them had to eat together.

As they sat around the round table, various kinds of dishes were placed on the table. Ying Lili observed the expression on the crown prince's face. "Are you sad that Miss Xue won't marry you?" Ying Lili gathered her courage asking.

Sheng Li looked at Ying Lili's eyes. "It looks like the crown princess really wants me to marry Xue Yu Yan. Unlike other women, the crown princess is not jealous because her husband loves another woman than she is" Sheng Li said.

Ying Lili was infatuated with the crown prince's words. "Why should I be jealous? I'm happy to think that you two are getting married" Ying Lili insisted and took the wooden lid over the bowl, checking the food. A waiter came forward and checked the food for them. "The food is okay. Your Majesty must eat," said the waiter and stepped back.

"Lili, you must die for it," Sheng Li declared hearing Ying Lili widen her eyes.
