The hero manages to get Naina into the elevator without a fight, leaving Bara and Stella stunned on the spot as well as Pieter with a bewildered face. Arriving in the elevator, Wira hurriedly closed the door, even before she had time to expel two women who wanted to ride in the same elevator.
“Mas ...” Naina looked at her wrist which was still tightly grasped by Wira.
As soon as the door closed tightly, Wira let go of Naina's hand hurriedly. The man gave a distance and stood away. They had separated, of course he did not want to make Naina think badly of him.
“How are you doing, Nai?” tanya Wira opened the conversation. The cold face that Wira had shown since earlier, suddenly melted and softened. A friendly and warm smile is on the lips.
“Good, Mas.” Naina answered briefly. He dared to look at the girl at a glance. Then lowered his gaze, staring at the tips of his black shoes with his hands clenched together to cover the nervousness.
“Mas, how are you?” Naina asked back.
The hero smiled back. The same smile as three years ago. “As you can see, Nai. I'm doing fine. Just getting old. Three years passed. I thought the world would be destroyed, it was just my fear.” The hero tries to make small talk.
Their conversation came to a halt as the elevator doors opened, two employees appeared in the doorway. The two prepared to step in, but the Hero standing right in front of the elevator door tried to hold back.
“Sorry, find another elevator only!” The hero presses the button to close the elevator door again. He does not even care about disturbing the comfort of others. Right now, he felt the need to talk seriously with Naina.
“Why hide about Vienna from me, Nai?” Suddenly Wira asked a question.
“Is it so great that you want a divorce to hide your pregnancy,” continued Wira. At the first opportunity, the man immediately asked the thing that had been filling his mind. To this day, he has not found an answer.
“I'm sorry, Mas. I didn't know I was pregnant when we got divorced. I only found out a few weeks later,” explained Naina.
“You're not lying to me, are you?” tanya Wira.
Naina shakes.
“Why not tell me after knowing your pregnancy?” todong Wira again.
“We're divorced.”
“So since we're divorced, I have no right to my daughter. Even just knowing how?” ask Wira.
“Sorry, Mom. I think Mas is already happy with Nola and ..”.
“Enough!” The hero raised his hand, asking Naina to stop her speech.
“I don't want to discuss unimportant matters at this time. I don't care what your reasons are, Nai. It's important to me right now that I have a daughter. Vienna is really my daughter, right?” ask Wira.
Naina nodded. “Ya, Mas,” said slowly along with the elevator door opened again. They had already arrived at the lobby with several employees waiting at the front door of the elevator preparing to enter.
“Sorry, I'm in need of this elevator. You can take another elevator or emergency stairs!” wira said, not giving a chance.
“Mas ...” Naina protests after seeing Wira press the elevator button to close again. This time the goal was the top floor, the place where the meeting room was located.
“There's still something I want to talk about, Nai,” explains Wira.
Naina bowed, not much protest. Three years apart from Wira, he faces many things alone. Crying and laughing at the same time. There are many lessons he has learned in the arduous and winding journey of life.
“I want to be able to meet with Vienna at any time without having to ask permission from you first, Nai. I want to have equal rights over Vienna. I'll finance all Vienna's needs, don't hesitate to ask me. I don't mind, Nai.” The hero explained everything in his mind.
The man gave a rough breath. His gaze was so sweet, fixed on Naina. Tucked in pity when he saw Naina who was standing down. Like helpless and unable to do anything.
“Ya ..” Naina raised her glance.
“Take Vienna to move to an old house. That's yours. Don't stay in that contract anymore. I'm gonna have my men tidy it up. It has long been uninhabited, need a little repair,” pinta Wira. Unable to say frankly that the contract now occupied by Naina was truly unfit for her daughter. But Wira chose to hide her opinion. She doesn't want Naina to be offended. However her daughter grew up, she had to thank Naina.
“Do it for Vienna. All this is also for the good of Vienna. I beg.” Wira's tone softened a little.
“Em ... Where do I stay?” Naina asked. Deliberately diverting questions.
“I don't live there anymore. I live in an apartment now. A single guy like me would have an easier time living in an apartment. Someone takes care of everything, I don't have to bother.”
“Sorry ...”
“Why apologize?” The heroes chuckled for the first time after their long chatter.
“We've been divorced for a long time, I've started forgetting everything, Nai. I don't want to remember it anymore. I don't want to bring it up again. I don't care who's guilty and responsible here. The most important thing now is Vienna. He needs his father and mother, together or apart.”
Naina is looking down. The more this attitude of the Hero, the more guilty he felt. At first, he thought Wira would scold him, hate him or have forgotten him. But, he was wrong. The hero remembers everything.
“Mas, I'm sorry. I know, I was wrong. I've been so stubborn and won't give you a chance.”
“Yes, I'm also guilty of a lot to you, Nai. I'm not fighting anymore. Vienna is my priority. I hope you're willing to introduce me to her.” Smiling hero.
“Ya, Mas.” Naina nodded.
“Thank you, Nai.” The hero walked over and suddenly hugged Naina.
A short hug, even Naina had not reacted at all, but Wira had already let go. Too shocked by the treatment of Wira, Naina's heart skipped a beat. He almost fell down when he could breathe the scent of Wira. He was at a loss for words, after three years of not feeling the warmth of the ambush of the Hero, now he felt it again.
It's just that touch is different. The arms and hugs of the hero are not the same as usual. That look has changed. Naina no longer finds the loving gaze like three years ago for her in the eyes of Wira.
Ting! The elevator doors opened for the third time.
“I'll meet Vienna later tonight on contract. There's a lot I want to know, Nai. Hope you don't mind. I promise I won't bother you.” The hero said slowly.
His gaze turned to Pieter and Stella who were already waiting at the elevator door.
“Mbak Naina, thanks for the explanation. Nice to meet you.” The hero thrust his hand.
“Yes, Mr. Wira.” Naina welcomes the hand of the Hero. Then hurriedly took off and got out of the elevator.
“Let's Mr. Pieter, Ste. I say goodbye first,” said Wira, half bent. He chose to stay in the elevator and let Naina out.
“Wait, Mas.” Stella held the door and rushed into the elevator. Naina was stunned when she heard Stella's greeting to Wira. An unusual call for men and women if it is only a coworker. Naina still had time to see the elevator door closed along with Wira's warm smile.
*“There is a connection between Stella and Mas Wira. Are they close?” *naina.
“What is your relationship with Mr Wira, Angel?” ask Pieter. Since then, Pieter has felt the strange gurgle of his assistant. Even from inside the meeting room, Naina looked different.
“Hah? Nothing, Mr.”
“Don't tell me you like it, Angel. I'm threatened with heartbreak.” Pieter.
“Hah?”
“One year we were together, Angel. Don't tell me you fell in love with that man in just a few minutes. This is not fair. I've given everything to you and now that you've got everything, you want to just walk away,” Pieter said.
