Look at Me, My Husband

Look at Me, My Husband
S2 Mother of my son 10

Along the way, the chatter of the two was dominated by stories about Vienna. Dennis occasionally asks about Naina's life in Austria. The handsome man who was focusing on the steering wheel looked at the beautiful passenger sitting sweetly next to him.

Black hair sebahu beautiful, sharp nose with ayu face is still the same as a year ago. It's just that Naina looks thinner than usual.

"Mas, how are you?" tanya Naina switched the conversation. Almost three years of knowing Dennis, not much is known about him. Naina never had the courage to ask too far about the man's personal life.

"Well, Nai." Dennis throws a smile. Naina did the same, glancing at the black pajero sport driver with admiration. After Wira and Tria, Dennis is the third man in his life. Naina feels like she has an older brother with Dennis.

Their introduction began when Mbok Sumi became ill a few months after her divorce with Wira. Dennis, the adopted son of Mbok Sumi flew from America to take care of his adoptive mother. From that moment on, their relationship began to drift apart. Especially later Dennis began to visit Mbok Sumi regularly. From there began their closeness that was like family.

And at that time, Naina found out that the house she occupied and Mbok Sumi was none other than Dennis's. It felt like leaving at the time, but Dennis held him back. Remembering her pregnancy that was beginning to grow. He had to accept all Dennis' help.

Especially when entering the second trimester, her pregnancy had problems. There was heavy bleeding, until Dennis who happened to be visiting Bandung did not allow him to work anymore.

Yes, the pregnancy of Vienna was lived with a heavy. Beginning of his ignorance. She only found out about her pregnancy when she entered the age of 12 weeks. Two weeks after the divorce, she found out that she was pregnant. It was also thanks to the help of Mbok Sumi who forced him to check himself into the village midwife.

The divorce process made him ignore his monthly cycle that never came. The weight of the divorce even makes it difficult to rise from the slump. The only thing that made it strong was the presence of Vienna still in the womb. The growing fetus in her womb is the reason she rearranged her life after separating from Vira.

He used to work at a cake shop. Even though his salary is not much, but still enough to live him and Sumi Mbok even though only a simple life. He didn't want to hang out with Dennis, as much as he could, he wanted to work. But fate said otherwise, eventually he still had to trouble Dennis even though it was beyond his wishes.

Because he had problems with the content, Dennis finally decided to bear all the living expenses of Naina and Mbok Sumi. The situation continued until Vienna was born and was one year old. At that time Naina felt sad if she had to constantly depend her life on Dennis.

With determination, Naina finally got the opportunity to work for Pieter in Austria. It was also with a struggle that was not easy, Dennis did not allow it. The man feels he can still afford to support Naina and her daughter.

"Nai, I haven't told you yet. A week ago ... I've brought Mbok Sumi and Vienna to move to Jakarta." Dennis opened his voice.

"Huh? Why would that be?" ask Naina wonder.

"I'm worried about you guys. If you're in Jakarta, it's easier to keep an eye on him." Dennis reasoned.

"Is there a problem?" naina asked in amazement.

"Let's know, I got word from Mr. Lurah that many have found out about you during your stay in Bandung. I'm afraid they're malicious" Dennis continued.

"From now on, I will live in America more often. My daughter is getting bigger, definitely needing my presence next to her. I can't keep leaving her with the nanny" Dennis said.

Naina turned her eyes. This is the first time Dennis has ever told me about his personal life.

"Mas is married? Mbok Sumi why don't I ever talk every time I ask about you, Mas." asked Naina.

Dennis chuckles. "It's best not to know much about me. Later you fall in love with me," joked Dennis, glancing at Naina.

"I'm serious, Mom."

"I'm daddy of two daughters. Pelangie Wijaya and Vienna Pelangie Wirayudha." Dennis answers.

"Your daughter ...." Naina hung up her sentence. Really surprise. He never knew about Dennis' life all along. That guy is so mysterious.

"I'm serious, Mom. Then your wife?" naina asked, starting to be intrigued.

"I don't have a wife. Angie's done enough to complete my life. Especially now that I have Vienna too." Dennis says.

"Why never take Angie with you?" ask Naina again.

"He was too small." Dennis answered briefly.

"If now?" Naina unceasingly asked.

"Now five years old. Since a year ago Angie's been living with her op in America."

"Huh? Why so far away, my. Don't you miss him?" ask Naina.

"When I can fly there if I miss him. Since you decided to work in Austria, I have to go back and forth Jakarta - Bandung more often than usual. Moreover, Vienna has started to get close to me. Sometimes I have to leave Angie for days with her nanny while I'm with Vienna. So I decided to leave Angie with her op. When I'm not around, there's at least an opanya accompanying." Dennis explains.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Because of me and Vienna so you have to part with your daughter." Naina feels guilty.

"That's it. I don't have a problem." Dennis smiles.

"Stay in Jakarta, no need to work. I'll finance you and Vienna. Poor your daughter, she needs you, Nai," Dennis said.

"Vienna has no father. Do you have the heart to make her not have a mother either." Dennis reminded. Highlight the man's eyes dimmed, recalling his childhood. He only has a father, without a mother. Maybe if he had gone with his mother, the story would have been a little different.

Dennis' words quite jolted Naina. The woman was downcast, hiding her sadness. Two tears fell suddenly.

"Wouldn't introduce Vienna to your former husband, Nai?" ask Dennis. He stopped the car. Slowly remove a box of tissue from the dashboard drawer and hand it to Naina.

"Don't Vienna have the right to know her father. Real dad." continued Dennis. The man spoke so easily, even as if there was no burden.

“I don't know, Mas.” Naina said softly. Grabbing a piece of tissue and wiping her tears.

“Despite you going back or not to him, isn't he entitled to know his daughter.” Dennis says.

If asked, is Dennis sorry? Of course he would say sorry. Especially after seeing Vienna, he really felt guilty.
