Look at Me, My Husband

Look at Me, My Husband
S2 Mother of my son 63

Dennis listened to the barrage of stories that escaped Rima's lips. His brain was stringing together the pieces of the story, from the beginning until at last the man's hand was clenched. The books on his fingers look white. The flat face instantly changed, the jawline hardened with blue veins protruding in its white temple. Even Dennis' eyes turned red, trying to hold back anger as Rima recounted the night where he saw Naina asleep in plain sleep and made sure a man was playing water in the bathroom.

Wira's shirt that was on the floor and a luxury car parked in the yard seemed to strengthen everything. Wira is the perpetrator who has made Naina seven weeks pregnant.

"How many times have you seen it?" I heard Dennis' heavy voice.

"Only once, sir. B-but I had seen Mr. Wira's car come out the middle of the night before. About an hour or two in the morning. It just so happened that Mr. Wira was holding the keys to the house, so it was free to go in and out without knocking." Rima explained.

"When do you remember, Rim?" ask Dennis again.

"It must have been forgotten, sir. What was clear a month ago," said Rima hesitated.

"Bad!" The clenched hand with that horrifying facial line made Rima shriek. He's never seen Dennis' scary side.

"Ma-sorry, Sir. I could be wrong ...." Rima tried not to get involved. He felt good and shut up if he knew Dennis' reaction would be like this. Rima cursed himself.

"How many cell phone numbers, give it to me! I need to talk to him. If he did I would ...." Dennis did not continue his sentence, staring at Rima with a horrifying look in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, sir. I could have seen it wrong, maybe I was sleepy and ..”.

"Enough! No need to go around in circles. Give me! I promise I won't involve you." Dennis thrusts his hand, waiting for Rima to pull out the phone.

Hesitating, but Rima finally thrusts the flat object at Dennis. It didn't take long to scramble Rima's simple phone, Dennis had managed to get Wira's contact number.

The connective tone felt a long time echoed in Dennis' ear, heard him swear when his call ended without reply Wira. Repeating, he grinned when he heard the voice of the Hero from across.

"Yes, who is this?" ask the hero calmly.

"Dennis. Where are you? We need to talk!" dennis tried to calm down. Sighing repeatedly for his voice to sound ordinary, Dennis clenched his hand. The man tried to hold back his anger that had been in the crown.

"What's wrong? I'm at Mama's." The hero answered casually, not yet catching the purpose Dennis contacted him.

"I'm going there!" break up Dennis, hurry up and turn off the phone.

Without further ado, Dennis exited the house with heightened emotions. In fact, he did not say goodbye to Naina. Wide footsteps, looks that usually look handsome so creepy. Before long, Rima could hear the sound of the roar of the car being pushed forward violently. Even graze plastic pots in the yard.

Rima could only be stunned, staring at Dennis' departure. It took her some time to realize the danger bell was clinking loudly. Flinched, Rima ran towards Naina's room. The nanny banged hard on her master's room door. He forgot about Vienna being with him. The little girl was crying in surprise.

"Bus ... Ms ....!" rima shouted, snarling at Naina's bedroom door irregularly.

"Mom, open the door. There's a big problem" shouted Rima. His heart rumbled, his chest felt tight. He just realized that his words could make Dennis rampage at Wira. He does not want to be involved if things happen that are not desirable.

"MOM! OPEN DOOR!" shouts Rima. He had lost his mind, even ignoring the cries and screams of Vienna.

"What's up, Rim?" Naina poked her face from behind the door. Looking listless, Naina could only lament her fate and cry to the satisfaction.

"Mom, Mr. Dennis ... Mr. Dennis." Rima panic.

"Wine, Mom. Mr. Dennis .. seems to be getting into a fight with Mr. Wira. Mr. Dennis's face when he got out of here was horrible." Rima explained.

"Well! What's going on?" naina asked confusedly.

"Look, Mom ...." Rima started telling me what she knew. From Dennis' question, to what he said. It happened that night, and several times caught a car coming out of their residence in the middle. Everything is not missed.

Naina's body squeezes in the doorway as Rima tells her what she saw. How he fell asleep without clothes, Rima who saw Wira's shirt on the floor of the room. All spinning back, Naina's brain was re-creating the scene that night, imagining as Rima revealed.

"Maas ...." The pregnant woman's body fell, falling to the floor. Both of his legs were squeezed, unable to support his weight. Recalling several times he met Wira and ended up sleeping until the next morning. He also recalled the fluid that often came out of the core of his body. Of course, she was disappointed, not even expecting that all because of the actions of Wira, her ex-husband himself.

Stunned, Naina sat on the floor imagining all the deeds of the Hero. If before, he was confused by his fate, now he was disappointed with Wira. A man whom he greatly trusted, but could do such a deed to a poor widow like her.

"Bus ... Ms ...." Panicked Rima shook Naina's shoulders. It appears the nanny is holding Vienna.

"How's this? Mr. Dennis .. and Mr. Hero." Rima reminded. Tucked in heart pity when he saw the tears that poured down on Naina's beautiful face.

Naina's consciousness is back, imagined the bloodshed that will soon occur. Dennis when angry can forget all things, even the man's common sense goes along with emotions.

"Rim, take Vienna. I have to go see them. I don't feel good." Naina shuddered, imagined a few years ago, Dennis had almost finished off a man who tried to approach him in a disrespectful way.

"Mas, pick up the phone" said Naina, standing by the road waiting for a taxi. He panicked at the thought of a possible fight between Dennis and Wira.

At that time, it was late afternoon. Naina never stopped calling Dennis. “Aduh, where are you, Mas?" naina whispered softly with her eyes closed. It's been a dozen times, but the call ended with the ballot box. Dennis didn't want to take his call at all.

"Do I call Mas Wira only," said Naina, squeezing the tip of the dress simply. His hands were cold and trembling, his heart was racing.

There was a smile of relief engraved on Naina's lips upon hearing the voice of the Hero. In a crucial moment like this, he forgot all his feelings of disappointment towards the man.

"Mas, where are you?" naina asked, adjusting her breathing.

"At Mama's place. There is a ...." The speech of the Hero came to a halt, suddenly there was a noisy sound that was caught by Naina's hearing.

"Nai, it's been a while, yeah. I'll call you later. Looks like Dennis came looking for me." The hero decides the call without waiting for Naina's answer.

"Mas, wait .. don't turn it off first," Naina said half-screaming.
