Look at Me, My Husband

Look at Me, My Husband
S3. Bag 26

Wira smiled as Naina discussed one of her female acquaintances. His wife's question seemed to indicate jealousy. Of course if it is the truth, the hero will be very happy.

Hugging his wife tightly, Wira whispered something in Naina's ear to calm down.

"I don't know, Nai. He could have come if any of my acquaintances took him. It could be absent if the work schedule is tight. One thing I can be sure of .. I'm not too close to him. But, he was quite well known in the club. Average ... my friends know him and are often invited to join every event.

Naina could only temper the turbulent jealousy in her heart in silence. As a wife, of course, the feeling arises by itself. Moreover, he saw for himself how the girl clung to the husband.

"Don't come home tonight, Mum."

"Yes, I'll be home as soon as the show's over. Take good care of yourself. If you feel anything unusual, call Papa or Kevin immediately. I've already told both." Ordered hero.

Naina nodded as she buried her pillow face in the chest of Wira.

"If it wasn't for the Panji, I'd make sure not to attend. I really can't resist. He came alone with his future wife to deliver the wedding invitation." Hero explained.

"Yes, Mas. I get it."

"Yes, already. I'm leaving first. Vienna still sleeping?" ask Wira.

"Still, Mas. The boy slept poorly last night. Waking up intermittently." Naina replied while following her husband's steps.

"Later in the night let Vienna sleep with us" the hero broke up.

Walking towards her daughter's room, Wira still held Naina's hand. He let go of his wife after standing by the bed. It looks like Vienna is sleeping hugging her little roll.

"Don't wake up, Mom. Poor he must be sleepy." Naina reminded when she saw Wira bending over and peeping her daughter's cheeks.

"Yes, Honey. I'm leaving first." The hero replied after finishing with Vienna.

Naina nodded.

"You didn't give me a kiss?" whispered Wira smiling seductively. The man had just reached the door but he turned to look at Naina.

Hesitating, Naina walked over. The face of the pregnant woman met red when she placed her lips on the lips of Wira.

"Hurry home. I waited for you. Don't get close to that girl. I don't like it." Naina whispered softly. He was timid, turned around and hid the hue on his cheek.

All day Naina's messing around. The mood of pregnant women is fickle. The phone never left his hand. It had not counted how many times he had contacted Wira since morning.

It was late in the afternoon when Naina straightened her legs on the sofa, passing the slow-moving seconds of watching television. Vienna spends all day with Nonik. Having a playmate, the little girl wasn't looking for Naina at all.

Ratih, the young wife of Papa Wira was busy in the kitchen making Naina's favorite sponge cake assisted by a home assistant. The young woman did not allow Naina to help.

Re-attached her gawai in the ear, Naina contacted Wira for the next time. Just half an hour ago their last communication, as Wira prepared to return to Jakarta.

The continuous tone sounded clear, Naina was already impatient. I don't know, the feeling is bad. Even from the beginning of the hero said goodbye, he felt something stuck in his chest.

"Yes, Nai." The chuckling hero received Naina's call.

"Mas, where is it now? Already on the way home?" ask Naina.

"No, Nai. William and I had said goodbye, but Panji had not allowed it. Sorry, Nai .. Maybe I'm a little late. It's okay, right?" wira.

Naina sighed, turning her gaze to the time pointer hanging on the wall. The time is now 17:55. The afternoon sun had already descended on the western horizon, a reddish orange radiating beautifully in the twilight sky.

"Yes, already. So, you don't know when you're going home yet?" Naina's voice sounded sad.

"But be careful on the road." Naina said sadly.

"Yes, Nai. Is rehearsal home?" ask Wira.

"Not yet, Mas."

"Would I be asked to stay at home? So someone's with you and Vienna."

"No need, Mom. Poor too. Train's been here all day, surely he's tired. Papa's on his way here to pick her up." Naina explains.

"Yes. I hung up on you, Nai. I'll call you later. My head is really hurting and throbbing."

***

Late at night, Naina tries to blow her anxiety. Repeatedly staring at the clock on the wall, his concern grew as the round object clinked ten times.

"Not coming home yet." Naina yawns wide. The pregnant woman got up and grabbed the phone on the nightstand. He fell asleep for a while while accompanying his daughter.

Back in contact with Wira, Naina's heart rumbles when her first call ends without an answer. Various bad thoughts came, strengthening the feelings that had appeared since morning. Even fret it was there when the hero said goodbye to leave.

"Mas, where are you?" naina lirih. The second call was the same fate. That fear is rampant.

Naina was forced to get up, choosing to wait in the living room. He did not want to disturb his daughter who had fallen asleep.

Returning to make the third call, this time Naina almost went crazy when the call was cut off and ended with the voice box girl waiting.

"Oh my God, what happened to Mas Wira." Naina shut her mouth. Bad thoughts that had only crossed the brain, now form a shadow and strung clearly.

"There was no accident, right. Oh my God, what am I thinking." Naina rubbed her big belly. She almost cried imagining the bad possibilities that could have happened to her husband.

The shadow of the soap star filled his imagination. "Oh, don't let it happen again." Naina rubbed her stomach again which followed the tense.

He could not imagine if the events of Wira and Stevi repeated again. Enough once, he wished there was no more trapping drama in his life. There is no story of her husband sleeping with another woman holding her accountable. He could no longer bear to repeat the same pain.

Walking back and forth in front of the television while biting her fingernails, Naina's memory was fixed on William.

"Why did I forget." Naina looks for her husband's assistant's contact number and calls immediately. He has to find out what really happened. He cannot be calm until everything is clear.

Biting her lips while enjoying the continuous tone, Naina's palms were wet, sweating. He panicked with his own bad thoughts. The pregnant woman was only able to breathe a sigh of relief when she heard William's voice from across.

"Yes, Mom. What's up?" William greets.

"Will, where are you? Why haven't we reached home yet?" cerocos Naina's.

"Sorry, Mom. Haven't been able to report. I'm panicking. Me and Dad in the hospital." William tells.

"Well!" Naina surprised. His eyes almost jumped out. The sleepiness he had been holding back from earlier evaporated instantly.

"What's going on?" naina asked impatiently.

"Mother complained of headaches from noon. When the car comes out of the toll, the pain gets worse. Father vomiting. So I decided to take her to the hospital, Mom. It is awaiting the results of the examination.

"Oh, thank goodness," said Naina, feeling relieved. Reality is not as scary as imagined.

William jerks. While he was restless waiting for news from the doctor about the illness suffered by his superior, instead Naina thanked for the condition of the Hero.
