326.5 - Announcement
Hello everybody.
There were some important announcements, which were different than usual, this time.
1. Promos
I, as the author of I am No King, am tired and fed up with promo comments by authors who ngaku author but GAK CAN READ. So, in the future, there will be no more chapter announcements like last week. In essence, if there is a promo in the comment field, it means he did not read the announcement at the end of the prologue and also in other chapters. Directly comment “F**K OFF!”.
And, apparently, the author wants to end the opportunity post promo in I am No King. So, Huda Rakhman's novel, The Land of Heroes, officially became the only novel in collaboration with I am No King.
2. Next Project
This is one of the reasons why there will be no more promo posts. Well, I am No King is at the end. I don't know how many more chapters, obviously, it looks like, this year is over. So, while finishing I am No King, I have already started researching for the next novel.
3. Web
My personal project is not just the next novel, but the web creation process itself, no longer dependent on the platform entirely. Try to be half independent. In the future, the latest chapter will be on the web, ****** will miss 10 chapters, mangatoon/noveltoon will miss 11 chapters. Well, that's later, after I am No King ends.
4. Editing Services
For the editing part of the story for novice authors, is in the process of stabilizing the concept. So, in the future, I will provide cheap editing services. However, of course, this cheap editing service has the conditions as already written in the previous announcement. Maybe something will be changed.
Cheap editing that will be done not to make a profit. The purpose of this cheap editing is more to help and give writers the opportunity to improve quality. Then, someone might ask, “if the goal is to give a new writer a chance, why not free?”.
If it is free, most likely, the author does not want to accept the editing and advice given. They will reason a lot like, “but will be a new plot and story, fresh, anti mainstream!” or, “Lho, this is my writing style!” or even, “Alah! It seems that senior writers continue to feel they can criticize people's writing!”.
Yes, such an author exists. Those who ask for advice, but once given advice do not even accept. And, trust me, such an author is not small. Though they get editing services is not free. The person still has to vote or write a review. However, it seems, these two things are considered free. So, in the future, I enacted a payment system so that they would listen more. Actually, imposing a payment system with money but low prices are still counted gambling. Still most likely the effect is the same, the author in question rejects the suggestion.
I myself, worried if there is an acquaintance of a circle or work acquaintance whose level has been a professional writer read I am No King. I still wish to be anxious when I hear criticism and suggestions that may arise. On the other hand, for a person who has just learned a little, his head has not been contained. They don't feel that burden. And, like paddy without fill, he could stand up without shame. LOL.
Sometimes I wonder about the ancient writers who made a saying. The method can go both ways. Wkwkwkwk.
5. Fanfict Race
Then there's another project. Right now, I am poking and preparing for the I am No King fanfict competition. On the new web the race will be held. However, yes it is, still in the process of poking and preparation. I had to prepare the fanfict type, the appraisal, the gathering process, as well as the rewards. Yes, still preparation.
6. I am No King Edit
On this new web also later I am No King re-edited version will be published. The re-edit, of course, is just writing, not a story. The first chapter of I am No King was created about 4 or 5 years ago. So, you could say, the quality of this initial chapter is much less than the last chapter. So, posts that are on platforms like mangatoon and******* will be left as is. However, the I am No King release on the web later is a more mature version.
Well, that’s how it is.
