I Am No King's

I Am No King's
Chapter 121 – Lugalgin and Tasha, Meeting pt 2

"Ah, so is it... Sorry."

Tasha answered me in a soft voice. I realize it's true that, back then, he felt guilty.

Finally, we finished washing the dishes and went to the living room. In the living room, there are only two pairs of sofas separated by a wooden table. In addition to those two things, there was an hour attached above the door. We sat on the couch, next to each other.

"By the way, what time do you have to pick up your sister?"

"Hour 3.15 I should've been at the stop. It took 45 minutes for the bus to reach his school from here."

"Still mean a long time. It's still an hour."

"Yes, beg–eh?"

Without warning or warning, Tasha pulled me. He forced me to use his lap as a pillow. In front of me, on top of the body, was Tasha bending over.

It was the first time I got so close to a girl. Even though I couldn't see my face, most likely, my cheeks must have blushed back then.

"You rest first."

"But–"

"If you fall asleep, I'll wake you up. I won't let your sister wait too long."

Apparently, Tasha really understood that I was worried about Ninlil at the time. And it's true, if I fall asleep and late, I'm afraid Ninlil will cry.

Without asking for permission, Tasha stroked and stroked my hair gently. Faintly, I heard Tasha buzzing, lashing out at me. Ever since I got to know her, it was the first time I was treated gently. Even though I still have parents, I never get that treatment from them.

Sure enough, I fell asleep and Tasha woke me up in time.

From that day on, for the next two years, almost every afternoon I went to Sargon orphanage. If it's the weekend, I have to accompany Ninlil on schoolwork. So, I never went to Sargon's orphanage on weekends.

However, obviously, after getting to know Tasha and the children in the orphanage, my life became more beautiful, even though it was actually only a few hours per day.

Day after day, I spent with Tasha. We do a lot of things starting to take the kids to bed, play marbles, or just talk.

Slowly but surely, as the oldest man in the orphanage, my relationship with Tasha grew closer. The orphanage children began to push for me to immediately express feelings.

I was not as brave as I am now. I mean, Tasha was my first love. Of course I'm confused what to do. In fact, I'm not sure if I really love Tasha. Maybe I just admire her because she was the first woman to be nice to me. Yeah, after mom and Ninlil anyway.

Back then, due to being too focused on Tasha, I started to let my guard down. I was completely unaware that the Alhold children, I repeat, were completely aware that they hated to see me smiling broadly. When they came home, they ganged at me. At that time, some teachers who were expelled also ganged up. Their attack back then managed to break my right arm.

After attacking, and seeing my hand broken, they immediately fled. At that time, I had no confidence in Alhold's father or family. So, the choice to go home directly I scrawled. The house, which was in the Alhold family housing complex, was the least safe place for me.

With that in mind, I decided to go to the hospital by bus, alone. Of course the bus driver panicked and stepped on the gas as deeply as possible. He even drove me to the lobby.

When I got to the hospital, I was taken to the ER. Fortunately, the fracture in my arm was not severe, there was no need for surgery. The doctor said a cast would suffice.

After I finished my treatment, a nurse asked if there was a party to contact. I said mom's office. At first, the nurse insisted that she speak and I rest. On the other hand, I insist on talking to mom. Finally, the nurse relented and let me speak.

I still remember our conversation at that time.

"Mother, Lugalgin's sorry."

"Yes? Why is Lugalgin apologizing?

"Today, Lugalgin couldn't pick up Ninlil. Can you pick her up?"

"Lugalgin was in the city hospital. Lugalgin's hand was broken. Ordinary, children of the Alhold family."

At that time, there was no reply from my mother. I know you haven't hung up on me, but I'm not continuing the conversation. I gave the call to the nurse, who continued the conversation.

After receiving the call, the nurse left. Not long after, the nurse came along with the doctor and the man in uniform. The nurse and the doctor said that the man in the uniform was from the police.

The police officer not only asked for information about the cause of my broken hand, but also asked for details of my daily life. Of course, I answered honestly all the bad things I experienced. After an hour, the policeman was satisfied and left me. The doctors and nurses asked me to sleep, and I complied.

When questioned, I made no mention of Sargon's orphanage at all. I don't want to drag Tasha and the others into my trouble.

A little while after I was questioned, finally mother and Ninlil came. I remember right. At that moment, my mother immediately entered and hugged me tightly.

She cried as she said, "forgive me, Lugalgin. Forgive me, Lugalgin."

Mom said it many times. Not only was the mother crying, Ninlil was also at the end of the bed.

At that moment, I felt guilty for making my mother and Ninlil cry.

I don't know why, but I didn't see Dad at the time. Maybe she wasn't contacted by my mom. Or maybe he was called by the head of the family.

That afternoon, I couldn't come to the orphanage. I had to spend the night in the hospital.

That night, Ninlil slept in the visitor's bed, next to my bed. I, who was pretending to be asleep, heard the mother talking over the phone.

"Barun, today, I've made some work agreements that your family-owned company will sign off on, and I won't stop here."

Mom stopped for a moment. I heard another voice on the phone, but it wasn't clear enough.

"No! This is more than enough!" Mother shouted, "Barun, all this time I tried to be patient, accept everything. But I'm not just silent. For many years, I grew Akadia to rank Six Pillars after today. Because, I knew this moment would happen sooner or later."

Back then, I had no idea what an Akadia or Six Pillars was. But I kept listening to my mother.

"I'm going to leave that cursed place and move to the middle of town. I'll take Lugalgin and Ninlil. If you want to prevent me, I will consider the Alhold family an enemy of Akadia."
