The Proposal Session

Not really, time goes by so fast. In the end, Alifa successfully completed her research and produced a comprehensive report on the importance of computerized record-keeping systems for small businesses. Alifa received the most beautiful gift from her guidance lecturer at the age of 21 years, namely approving her proposal report to be tested first before continuing at the thesis report stage.

A faint smile emanated clearly on Alifa's face. "Thank you very much, Miss. Thank ye. This is the most beautiful gift for me. I promise, I will never let Miss Elda down."

"Alifa, your smile is so alluring. I'm very happy to see it. Remember, don't be too nervous at court. Believe in yourself and show that trust in every word you say. You can certainly do well," said Miss Elda. "Moreover, don't forget the preparation you've done. You have worked hard to get to this stage. So, don't hesitate on your abilities, yes! Prove your knowledge at the trial later in front of the examiner. Remember that every trial is an opportunity to learn and grow. If there are difficult questions, then try to calm down and think before answering. You have great potential, Alifa, and I'm sure that you will impress everyone there" he continued.

"Thank you, Miss, for your valuable support and advice. I really appreciate it. I will try my best not to get nervous and go through the trial with confidence. My preparation is done carefully, and I will remember everything I have learned. I hope I can give my best in the trial. All of the words and advice from Miss Elda were truly encouraging and confident in me. I promise to try my hardest!"

After chatting excitedly with Miss Elda, Alifa gave an appreciative smile. "Once again, I thank you very much, Miss, for all the support. I will follow Miss's advice in earnest" Alifa said, bowing her head slightly as a sign of respect.

With the documents of the terms of the trial of the proposal neat and complete in his hands, Alifa left Miss Elda's room with steady steps. He walked through the hallways of the campus that he knew well, to the raw room of the Information Systems department. In the raw room, he placed the files carefully on the table that had been provided. The air of the room was tense, because not only Alifa was going to undergo the trial, but also many other students who were waiting for their turn.

With mixed feelings of nervousness and confidence, Alifa checked her files again and prayed for a moment. After that, he left the room because the schedule and name of the examiner lecturer will come out the next day.

The twilight sky stretched over the campus, emitting a warm golden colour. Alifa stepped in with light steps, her face still exuding the spirit of the results of the proposal trial that had been passed. In his heart felt a combination of happy feelings and a little relief. I can't wait to bring this good news to my family.

As Alifa's steps entered the hallway towards the student dormitory, a calm and comfortable atmosphere greeted her. The light of the street lights began to light up, giving a warm and inviting atmosphere in the twilight that began to fade. Not noticeably, Alifa had arrived at the door of her room. With a flowery heart, he pulled out the key and opened the door.

Inside his room, the atmosphere was simple and comfortable. Alifa placed her bag with important files on the study table. He sat down for a moment on the edge of the bed, letting himself feel this moment. A sense of happiness and relief still chime in him.

"Now it's just a matter of waiting for the result" Alifa muttered to herself with a smile. He is optimistic that his efforts over the past three years will pay off. Only three years of college to achieve a strata one degree, it makes him feel proud and satisfied with the achievements he has achieved.

Alifa picked up her phone and called her mother to share the good news. Her mother's voice of pride and support made Alifa even more convinced that her decision to pursue the title in a short time was the right move.

"Mom, there's good news! Alifa will soon be able to successfully pursue the title in no time!" alifa said with a smile.

Alifa's mother with a voice full of pride. "Alhamdulillah, Alifa! I'm so proud of you. It was the right move and mom always supported you."

"Thank you, Mother. Mother's support means a lot to me" Alifa said with a smile.

"May this move open the doors of greater success for you, son. We're always there for you."

"Aamiinu. Thank you, Ma. Alifa is so grateful to have a family that is always supportive."

"You deserve all this success, Alifa. Keep working hard and don't forget to be grateful."

"Of course, Mom. Thank you so much for your prayer. Oh, yeah, the schedule for tomorrow's proposal hearing just came out, ma'am. Pray that the trial will run smoothly, Mom," pinta Alifa, never stop asking for blessing from her mother.

"Together, son. May God always protect and bless your steps. The important thing is always to remember the message of the mother, yes!"

"Yes, Mom. I remember" replied Alifa smiling, as if speaking to her mother directly, but only by phone. "No matter how busy you are, never leave prayers and never be late to eat" Alifa said while practicing her mother's tone.

Then Alifa and her mother smiled. The phone ends.

Looking up at the dim twilight sky outside her bedroom window, Alifa contemplated her long three-year college trip dubbed "Campus of the Champion". He knew that his journey was not over, but he had proven to himself that with determination and effort, he was able to achieve what he wanted.

On the day of the presentation, Alifa confidently delivered the results of her research in front of her lecturers and friends. Miss Elda also seemed proud to see the development of Alifa from the beginning to the end of the study.

"Congratulations, Alifa. You've done an amazing job. Your research is very useful and provides new insights for all of us" Miss Elda said with pride.

"I also congratulate you, Alifa, this research report of your proposal is very good. I love your performance in completing your work, from analysis, to the design of the program is very extraordinary for the progress of small businesses such as your research place. We're waiting for the script report, yeah. Congratulations on the next stage." Miss Ratna, the lecturer on the proposal report until the Alifa thesis later.

Alifa smiled happily at the praise from her guidance counselor and examiner.

"I also thank Miss Elda for guiding me so well. I promise, will not disappoint Miss Elda my thesis report in the future. I'll finish it soon and contact Miss Elda when I'm ready for further guidance." Alifa's face was radiant.

"Not forgetting, I also thank Miss Ratna for the constructive criticism and advice to make my final assignment as a student even better. So, in the future the sciences that have been obtained can be useful after I graduated from college," continued Alifa with a sigh of relief. He was grateful that one by one, his work was done as well.

After that, Alifa's guidance counselor and examiner said goodbye, they left the room; only Alifa and her friends left went into the room. Alifa received appreciation from her friends who were present at the trial. His struggle in finding the right proposal title and carrying out research with passion has yielded satisfactory results.

While applauding, one of Alifa's friends said, "Congratulations, Alifa! You were amazing in presenting the results of your proposal report."

Alfie felt overwhelmed. "Thank you very much, guys. I wouldn't be able to do it without your support."

"I'm grateful that everything went well. It's a journey full of struggle, but the results are worth it" Alifa said with a smile.

"You deserve this appreciation, Alifa. All your hard work paid off" said big brother Alifa, hugging his beloved sister.

"I really appreciate your kind words. This is all thanks to your prayers and support as well. What else is my brother who has been willing to sacrifice his precious time to keep and provide input so that I can give my best." Alifa hugged her sister and her female friends warmly.

"We are proud to be a part of this achievement, Alifa. Congratulations again!" said another friend of Alifa.

"Thank you, guys. This is the beginning of a long journey and I hope we all continue to support each other" Alifa said.

Then, one by one, Alifa's friends said goodbye.

"We say yes, Alifa. Welcome home and rest well!"

"If you need any more help, then feel free to contact us. Congratulations on fighting back, Alifa!"

"Thank you, guys. Congratulations to you, too" replied Alifa. His eyes were teary, even though the ones that came at his trial were few, at least meeting the requirements of the trial. It really helped to launch the proceedings. From this, Alifa realized, who really cared about him, even someone who was expected to always accompany him was not present. Alifa was really disappointed for the umpteenth time with Alim's attitude. However, he cannot lie to his feelings if he still loves Alim.

After all her friends left, Alifa and her brother went back to the boarding house.

Arriving at the boarding house, they sat quietly, contemplating the full day of achievement.

Brother Alifa started the conversation. "You've really done an amazing job, Alifa. Brother is so proud of you."

"Thank you, Brother. None of this would have been possible without the support of my brother, family, and friends. Alifa really feels lucky to be surrounded by sincere people like you."

"You have proven that your decision to pursue the title quickly is the right move. Your spirit is truly inspiring."

"I know this journey isn't over yet, brother. But I'll keep fighting."

The two of them continue their warm chatter while planning their next steps on Alifa's journey to academic success.

Two hours later, Alifa remembered that she had not informed her mother and father about this. Alifa picked up her phone with a smile on her face and started contacting her mother and father to tell them the good news.

"Hello, Mommy. Hello, Daddy. There's good news that Alifa wants to share."

Alifa's mother frowned. "What is that, son? Tell me?"

"We're curious, Alifa. What's going on?" ask Alifa's father.

Alifa cheerfully said, "Alifa passed her proposal report exam, Well, Mom. The conference was successful and Alifa received a lot of appreciation from the lecturers, lecturers, and friends who attended."

Alifa's mother with a voice full of happiness appreciated. "Alhamdulillah! That's very good news. We're so proud of you, son."

"You've worked hard for this, Alifa. We are happy to see your efforts produce results" said Alifa's father who was proud of his son's success.

"Thank you, Mom, Dad. Your support has always been the biggest motivation for Alifa."

Alifa's father encouraged. "Remain alive, Alifa, and don't forget to be grateful for this achievement."

"Ready! Alifa will always remember the message of Father and Mother. Thank you for your prayers and support. Alifa is so grateful to have a family like you."

"Together, son. May God continue to bless your steps forward." Alifa's mother prayed sincerely, her eyes glazed over.

Alifa felt warm in her heart because of the support and love so great from her family. He knew that they were always by his side in every struggle and achievement.

From these experiences, Alifa learned that perseverance, thoroughness, and a passion to keep trying are the keys to achieving success in the pursuit of knowledge and achieving academic goals.
