Dialogue In The Smiling of Tears

Behind the curtain of everyday life, tough Alifa, a tireless warrior. However, fate often forces her to cry, wetting her cheeks while continuing with tasks to be completed. Like rain falling in the middle of the ocean, Alifa's tears flowed profusely without stopping her steps.

Alifa is a unique figure, she has a special skill in the art of crying. He could cry while eating, as though tears were salt that adorned every mouthful of his food. He could cry while doing chores, as if every scrap of pen was a wound scratched in his heart. Even while writing, his fingers still slide on the paper, while droplets of sadness accumulate in the corners of his eyes. When telling a story, the words that came out of his mouth seemed to be created from a sigh of sadness that flashed in his heart. For every drop of weeping that falls is a warm flame of life, reminding him that behind sorrow there is hope that continues to burn.

Like a gentle breeze blowing in a desolate desert, Alifa reappeared in this life after long disappearing without a trace. However, with his presence, the old wound that had healed was like it had reopened, leaving an indelible mark. Alifa's tears flowed profusely, reflecting her deep sorrow.

In his bitter tears, he cursed himself, "Why do you have to taste the bitterness of your own tongue, Fa? You promised not to fall in love with anyone before you got married. If only love had invaded your heart, then that man must be the last in your life." Alifa held back her words for a moment, digesting the mistake she had made.

Then, he continued regretfully, "You're not being fair to yourself. You let him get hurt by false hopes and promises. Too plain, Fa. You know a little bit about the nature of the man before getting entangled in a relationship bond, but you still accept him. How much your heart ache. The trauma is now haunting and making it hard for you to trust others, right?"

Alifa let out a long sigh, as if letting out a heavy weight that was piled up inside her chest.

In the silence of the dark night, Alifa sat alone in the corner of her room. Tears poured down from his tired eyes, as if becoming an unstoppable river of pain. Before him, the pile of tasks piled up like an untouched mountain.

While crying, Alifa clasped the pen tightly, carving each letter bitterly. The falling tears were like decorating every point and line on his task paper, marking an unexpressed sadness. In his tears, he tried to devour a small piece of food, but it was meaningless. Every bite was bitter in his mouth which continued to cry.

The tasks waited ruthlessly, like a shadow that followed Alifa at every step. However, he continued to work on it, even though the tears were still flowing. His fingers danced over the keyboard, creating a faint-sounding melody of cries between the beats of the letters. The words created also seem to carry the wounds and emptiness that is hidden in every sentence.

Alifa continued to write, crying. Tears and ink combined together, filling page after page with stories and complaints. His voice trembled while telling a story, soft but filled with emotional power. He was used to crying in all situations, like painting pain on every canvas of his life.

While crying, while eating, while doing chores, and while telling stories, Alifa continued to struggle against the waves of sadness that hit her. Every drop of tear that falls is a will to survive, even in the sadness that continues to envelop him.

No matter what your past is, you have a bright future. God will forgive by accepting your repentance. It is never too late before the day of your death. Allahummar zuqni taubatan nasuha qoblal death. Innahuu huwat-tawwaabur-rohiim bus.

"And as for those who repent and believe, and do good, he may be among the fortunate." (QS. Al-Qasas 28: Verse 67)

"O you who believe! Repent to Allah with pure repentance (return nasuha), and your Lord will remove your iniquities and enter you into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah did not disappoint the Prophet and those who believed with him; and their light was shining before and at their right hand, and they said, "Our Lord, our Lord, perfect our light, and forgive us; verily, Thou art Powerful over all things."" (QS. At-Tahrim 66: Verse 8)

Alifa, after going through various tasks and responsibilities, finally felt the time had come to give herself a little rest. Like a bird that had finally returned to its nest after wading through the blue sky, Alifa felt herself like a free-flying kite, choosing this moment to descend and take a short rest.

Just then, he found comfort on his soft mattress like a cloud, like cotton that fell from the sky. Like an angel descending from heaven, Alifa broke down her body and felt the softness of the mattress embracing her with warmth. The mattress became a small island in his ocean of exhaustion, where he could ease the relentless tide of life.

In deep silence, Alifa began to dialogue with herself. Like two pairs of wings clashing with fatigue, the thoughts in him passed each other in his inner space. Like a thunderbolt thumping in the dark night, questions and tempestuous thoughts flashed in his mind.

Alifa realized that this moment was a rare moment, like a shooting star in the middle of the night that presented an unrepeatable miracle. He let his mind drift freely, like an eagle flapping its wings and soaring high in space. Those thoughts move like a stream that crosses the forest in silence, flowing endlessly, bringing life and consciousness.

In the swirling inner dialogue, Alifa felt peace flowing within her. Like the morning dew dancing on green leaves, that serenity soaked his parched soul because of all the hustle and bustle of the world. He felt a new power flowing within him, like a fire burning in the darkness of the night.

In that moment of meaningful rest, Alifa found wisdom in her pent-up self. Like a flower blooming in a barren desert, he realized that even in the darkest hour, there was beauty hidden behind it. He felt his full presence, like a full moon shining in the middle of a dark night.

Alifa ended her dialogue with herself, like completing a painting with a final stroke. He felt a new spirit and strength flow in him, ready to continue the journey of his life with confidence. Like a rising sun that radiates the rays of life on the eastern horizon, Alifa rose from her bed in a burning spirit, ready to face the challenges that awaited her in the next episodes of life.
