The Trust Challenge

One month Alifa was in Kalianda, Alifa was still in a relationship with Alim. However, Alim's attitude has still not changed, it is still childish. Jealous of things that should not be envied.

The nature of Alim that is slowly beginning to be seen is a dominant attitude and tends to control. He often criticizes Alifa in a way that makes her feel inferior. He always tried to control every aspect of Alifa's life, including the friends she met and the activities she did.

The behavior makes Alifa feel constrained and can not be her true self. He begins to doubt whether this relationship is healthy and whether Alim is the right person for him. Alifa felt that true love should not make her feel trapped and unhappy.

"Where are you going, anyway? In sms not replied and called from earlier too, not raised!" alim said with a high tone.

"What, anyway? The phone gets angry. I was busy from work. You think I'm here messing around?" I answered with a short breath.

Alim instead of apologizing or anything, instead accused Alifa who was not-no. "Nrank ...! You met Khaleed, right? Tell me if you want to turn him back!"

Alifa let out a heavy sigh, as if there was a burden piling up on her head.

"Listen, Alim, I don't have time for this kind of drama and accusation. I work hard and have responsibilities, so don't look for problems that don't exist. I have nothing to do with Khaleed. So, if you don't believe in me, maybe we need to rethink our relationship" Alifa replied calmly, but firmly.

Alim paused for a moment, realizing that his suspicious and accusatory attitude was for no apparent reason unfair towards Alifa. He realized that he had to trust his partner and did not directly convict him without concrete evidence.

"I. I'm sorry, Alifa. I was too jealous and worried. I promise to trust you and not draw such unilateral conclusions anymore" Alim said in a softer voice.

Alifa nodded, appreciating Alim's apology. "Thank you, Alim. Trusting and understanding each other is the foundation of a healthy relationship. Let's commit to supporting each other and building trust in each other, yes!"

Alim nodded in agreement. "Yes, sure. I really love you, Alifa, and I want us to get through all these obstacles together."

Alifa smiled, relieved that the two of them could resolve this matter well. He realizes that every relationship has challenges and needs open communication and strong trust to deal with them.

"Thank you, Alim. I love you so much too and I'm sure we can get through this together. Let's learn from this experience and continue to build a strong foundation for our relationship" Alifa said with confidence.

Alim spoke with affection. "I promise to do better, Alifa. We are a team and we have to support each other. Let's face the future with optimism and trust."

Both of them were relieved to have reached a deeper understanding and strengthened their bond. They realize that every problem can be solved by honest communication and mutual respect. In this state, they felt closer to each other than before.

Alifa and Alim continue on their journey with renewed confidence, ready to face whatever challenges come, in the hope that their love and trust will continue to grow and strengthen their relationship.

At night, Alifa laid her body on the bed. Body feels sore.

"Look, yeah, it feels like work. Really tiring. Especially if you have received a call from an impatient customer, testing patience really, anyway," I said while massaging the head that felt a little pain.

Alifa closed her eyes for a moment, trying to ease the tension in her body. After a long and hard day, thoughts of quarrels with Alim re-emerged, leaving a sense of confusion and saturation.

"Well, why the hell does Alim keep linking Khaleed to our fights?" muttered Alifa in a frustrated tone. "What should I do so that he can trust me completely?"

Alifa pondered for a moment, trying to find an understanding of the source of Alim's distrust. There may have been events in the past that made him vulnerable and anxious. However, Alifa felt that being constantly blamed for no apparent reason would only damage their relationship.

"We need to talk about this more deeply" Alifa thought. "I have to make him realize that I am here for him, that Khaleed is not a threat to our relationship. I want us to be able to build solid trust, without the need to constantly fuss over the same thing."

After sending the message, Alifa felt more relieved. He realized that in every relationship, there are difficult moments that need to be faced together. He hopes that through honest communication and determination to strengthen their bond, they can get past these obstacles and build a stronger, more loving relationship.

Alifa lay back on her bed, hoping that her message would open the door to change and a deeper understanding between the two. Alifa hopes that tomorrow will bring improvement and harmony in their relationship.

Alifa felt relieved after sending a message to Alim. He realized that it was important for them to sit down together and talk about their feelings more deeply. He hoped that Alim would receive his message with an open heart and be willing to communicate openly as well.

The next morning, Alifa and Alim gathered to speak. They sat face to face, ready to listen to each other attentively.

"Alim, I want us to talk about the quarrel yesterday" Alifa said in a calm, but firm voice. "I want us to be able to understand each other and build strong trust. My question is why are there always suspicions regarding Khaleed in our relationship?"

Alim took a deep breath before answering. He is aware that his suspicious attitude is unfair and he must speak honestly about what is in his heart.

"Alifa, forgive me for the mistrust and suspicion that has always arisen regarding Khaleed" Alim said in a sincere voice. "Actually, I had events in the past that worried me about the possibility of a breakup. However, I realize that I must trust you completely and not constantly associate Khaleed in our every quarrel."

Alifa listened with care and empathy. He understood that Alim's suspicions stemmed from deep fear, but it was important for them to seek a common solution.

"Alim, I understand that you've been through painful experiences, but we can't build a good future if we continue to get caught up in the same suspicions and quarrels," alifa said softly. "We should listen to each other, talk about concerns, and work together to strengthen trust. We must be committed to building a healthy and mutually supportive foundation."

Alim nodded, feeling relief and hope. He realized the importance of open communication and had to trust Alifa completely. They both promise to listen to each other with understanding, express their feelings and concerns honestly, and try to improve their relationship.

On their journey to strengthen the relationship, Alifa and Alim realize that trust and communication are the key. With the same earnestness and determination, they hope that the obstacles faced will strengthen their bond, bringing peace and happiness in their loving relationship.

"Well, I want to work again. I'm here for college, you know! As a condition of later thesis. You know, right, if I had a target of graduating three years? Please, don't destroy my dreams" Alifa said hopefully.

Alim nodded. "OKAY. I'll go home first. You take care of your health, yes," he said and passed away leaving Alifa.

Alifa entered the office with a definite step, welcoming the atmosphere that was already familiar to her. The room was filled with the sound of a ringing phone, conversations between customers and bank employees, and the sound of a document printing machine that continued to spin. Alifa felt that the office was a place where she could focus on her work and avoid personal problems.

However, in her heart, Alifa felt burdened with the complicated dynamics of the relationship between herself and Alim. He admitted that Alim was often too harsh and too demanding. Alim's dislike of Khaleed and his excessive suspicion, made Alifa feel suspicious whether there was something Alim was hiding.

Inwardly, Alifa wanted to find out what was really going on. However, without solid evidence, he could not be rash. He feels caught between the need to uncover the truth and maintain calm in their relationship.

While stepping towards her desk, Alifa decided to stay focused on her work. He chose to strengthen his expertise in banking, provide the best service to customers, and maintain professionalism in all situations. He hopes that by being strong and responsible in his work, he can find a way to overcome the problems in his relationship with Alim.

Alifa realized that facing uncertainty and adversity is part of life. He is determined to maintain his integrity and not get caught up in unfounded suspicions and speculation. With patience and prudence, Alifa hopes to uncover the truth and build a healthier relationship with Alim, if indeed it is best for both.

In a room that is almost never quiet, Alifa continues to work with a strong determination, while keeping her heart calm and focused on her responsibilities as a professional in the banking world.
