Rinsing Back

As new students, they must run the PROPTI (Higher Education Orientation Program) and MAKRAB (Night of Familiarity) which are each held for three days. PROPTI is the same as OSEK, only - the term on campus is propti whose purpose is to get to know and understand more about the campus. While MAKRAB is the same as scout camp in school. Aim to get to know each other, train mentally, train independence, and teach about student discipline.

The first day of PROPTI was the day that Alifa felt unlucky. How not? The delay is only one minute, already can not join the ranks with other friends. He was punished by being punched in one of the name tags hanging around his neck. There is no tolerance for delays. Though he arrived at the campus about 15 minutes before the activities of PROPTI began.

"Damn! I'm late too because I can't cross! Wait for the vehicle to go, even late. Argh!" alifa chirped inwardly as she clenched her hands with an annoyed expression.

It turned out that his facial expression could not be lied to when he was upset. One of the level brothers who was in charge of accompanying the new students was aware of it.

Suddenly the man who was insinuating Alifa in the front was approaching.

The man, who did not know his name because he had not yet introduced himself, turned his back to Alifa after warning the girl to look with her tiny body.

After an hour apart from the line, Alifa and other students who were also late were asked to place positions with other friends in the GSG field.

"Huf! Finally ...!" alifa said, slowly.

Just breathing a sigh of relief because of the fierce level brother earlier, Alifa was again made a hanger by another level brother. He stands at the GSG arena, where students usually gather to do assignments, watch basketball games, or just sit back while enjoying the wifi available.

Thinking of laughing at him, the man still standing in the ring yelled at us; asking to be quiet. Instantaneous silence. We listened to his chatter which made the atmosphere tense. The man was named Daffa. He is the chairman of Hima SI (Information Systems Student Association) who happens to be the chief executive of PROPTI.

"The full name, Daffa Ramdan Althaf, does not reflect the meaning of the name. There was no softness, very fierce to be a man" alifa grumbled in a whispering voice.

Someone who was next to him rebuked Alifa to be quiet, because if Alifa was noisy, who was punished not only him, but all the students in the field. Alifa was forced to shut up, but her heart still grumbled because it was upset with the behavior of her elder sister.

"About senior, it seems like a little brother of his level," said Alifa with sharp eyes.

Alifa Zea Amanda, that's her full name. Most people know her as a nerdy girl because every day, she is never separated from books. A bright morning greeted Alifa on the second day of PROPTI activities. He was very excited and determined to get to campus early. Alifa woke up earlier than usual, prepared herself quickly, and took a light breakfast to give her extra energy.

After bathing and getting dressed, Alifa looked at the clock on the wall and realized there was still enough time to reach the campus early. He picked up his bag that had been prepared overnight, making sure he had all the books and equipment needed for PROPTI.

Alifa left her costs in high spirits. As usual, he took an angkot to campus earlier than before. Although the distance is not too far, but Alifa does not want to make mistakes again. This time it should come on time. The transport car went down the road quickly, so that Alifa could enjoy the fresh breeze and see the beautiful scenery around. That morning trip made her feel refreshed and ready for an activity-filled day.

Arriving at the campus, Alifa saw that there were still many parking spaces available. It was a sign that he had actually arrived early. He quickly, walked towards his college building. Several other students were already around, but most were still not there.

In a better atmosphere than yesterday, Alifa looked around the campus with a smile on her face. He felt a positive difference in the mood of the day. The atmosphere of the campus feels brighter, maybe because of the pleasant weather or maybe because of the new spirit that radiates from him.

The campus is a beautiful painting that exudes joy. Alifa observes attentively around him, absorbing the beauty of the campus environment, from green trees to sturdy buildings. He saw other students walking cheerfully, talking enthusiastically, and smiling at each other.

Inwardly, Alifa wished for the day to go smoothly without any misfortune befalling her. His hope floated like a dove in the boundless blue sky. He wants the day to be a good start and hopes that no obstacles or misfortunes will interfere with his steps.

In his mind, Alifa repeated the mantra to herself, "Today will be a great and lucky day. I will think positively and face things with a good attitude." He believes that positive thoughts and strong expectations can influence the course of the day and turn it into a pleasant experience.

With high spirits and fierce confidence, Alifa stepped forward with hope and a smile on her face. He is ready to face whatever may happen and is trying to make that day a meaningful and memorable day in his property journey.

When the last day of the Propti agenda began, everyone was asked to march in groups. Alifa stood in front because she was asked by her senior brother, she said to be seen because her friends who were standing in line with her were taller.

Propti committee brother gave us a cue to look for pieces of the puzzle that later when combined with other groups, will form the logo of the campus Teknokrat.

At a quick pace, we followed the instructions, but they apparently pranked us mercilessly, initially said to be in building C, then moved in building B. Alifa felt her feet really sore because of wearing high heels.

Alifa and her group of friends arrived at the requested building with gasps. Not even want to drink for a moment, there was a shout of a woman who asked them to speed up to take the puzzle pieces.

"Yes Allah. I'm afraid I'm breathing hard. Breathe in," Alifa grumbled with sweat.

Alifa laid her body on the bed tired. That day, he recalled the events of the first time following campus activities, a propti agenda that will never be forgotten. Amongst the mixed feelings of pleasure and annoyance, Alifa allowed herself to drown in her memories.

As the saying goes, "There's sugar there's ants," that's how Alifa felt at the time. He smiled, thinking about all the fun moments that had been passed in the campus activities. Alifa has met amazing new friends, enjoyed a variety of exciting events and activities, and felt the spirit of togetherness that burned her spirit.

However, behind his smile, there was also a sense of annoyance that he could not avoid. Alifa remembered how messy the preparation of the activity was. Everything went awry, from a messy schedule to a lack of equipment that should have been ready. He felt annoyed at himself for underestimating the importance of preparation and not anticipating any possible eventuality.

Tears of Alifa flowed without her being able to bear. In silence, he put together words that described his struggles as if he was struggling alone in his life. After feeling the emotional burden of draining energy, Alifa finally made the decision to go to sleep. He realized that tomorrow would be an important day, because it was the first day he studied at the college. In his exhaustion, Alifa understands that getting enough rest will help him start the day fresh and ready for new challenges.

Alfie closed his eyes. His mind slowly subsided and he felt the comfort of the soft mattress. While forgetting the events that caused her tears to flow, Alifa felt a strong desire to get up and start a new chapter in her life.

In her sleep, Alifa hopes that tomorrow will bring new opportunities; opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve the dreams that still adorn her heart. With a calm mind and a new faith, he lets himself sleep in a dream that brings hope and motivation.

Alifa's decision to sleep was a wise act that showed her concern for her own well-being. He realized how important it was to get enough rest to start the day with optimal energy and vigor. With quality sleep, Alifa hopes to face the first day in the lecture well and be ready to face all that is to come.
