A Warm Reconciliation

The atmosphere on campus this time was so noisy, Alifa became unable to concentrate on her learning. Today, there is a midterm exam in her class. Alifa wanted to scold anyone who caused the noise, but she also realized that the last time she yelled at the people in the stands, Alifa even fought with Alim.

Everyone seemed to forget that today there was a test, instead of studying, they were chatting and playing around. I don't know what they have in mind, why can it be that calm when the exam will take place.

Alifa raised her eyebrows while paying attention to her surroundings. He shook his head.

Speaking of Alim, Alifa remembered that her aunt Alim asked her to visit Alim's house. Alifa who is either too good as people know her said or there is a certain mission in her life, so she intends to forgive Alim. Hopefully, Alim's attitude can change.

Not long after, the teacher entered the class. With firm steps and a sharp gaze, the lecturer walked towards his teaching table. He placed his bag down loudly, inviting a fearful look from the students who were silent for a moment. The previously boisterous atmosphere became calm like a grave.

The lecturer took a quick glance towards Alifa who was sitting in the corner with an annoyed facial expression. Alifa felt noticed, but she did not have time to think about it further because the lecturer immediately started his lecture in a loud voice.

"What are you guys, huh? This campus is not a place to gather and noisy like a market! There's a midterm exam today, not a time for fun!" said the lecturer with a voice that echoed in the classroom.

The students nodded in fear and tried to reduce the noise they had caused earlier. They tidied up the books, arranged the pens anxiously, and tried to calm themselves down to face the test.

Alifa felt relief with the change of mood in the classroom. Although still a little upset, he also felt relieved because the lecturer gave a warning to his noisy friends. Alifa hopes that with a calmer atmosphere, she will be able to focus on taking the exam.

As the lecturer gave instructions and handed out question sheets, Alifa took a quick glance towards Alim who was sitting in the front row. He looked at Alim with a tense face, seemingly also feeling nervous about facing the test. Although Alifa's heart still flowered with vengeance, she decided to hold back and not scold Alim at times like these.

Alifa realized that the midterm exam is an important moment for every student. There is no time to think about personal problems or make the situation worse by fighting. He chose to focus on his task and try to get the best results.

During the exam, the classroom atmosphere remains calm. The students were busy working on the problem, only the sound of a pen moving on the paper. Alifa said a prayer in her heart, hoping to answer all the questions well.

After finishing the exam, Alifa heaved a sigh of relief. He looked around the classroom and saw tired but satisfied faces. Although the classroom atmosphere this time was noisy at the beginning, eventually everyone was able to concentrate well.

When the lecturer announced that the exam had ended, Alifa felt relieved and happy. He kept his books neatly and prepared to go home. Although the noise on campus affected his concentration, Alifa managed to pass the exam well.

After dropping out of the class, Alifa decided to give Alim a chance. He remembered the promise to visit Alim's house and forgive their past troubles. Alifa realizes that studying on campus is not only about mastering the material, but also about controlling emotions and maintaining good relationships with fellow students.

With new expectations and a desire to create a better atmosphere on campus, Alifa walked away from the campus with a definite step towards the house of Alim which happened to be Alim's house had just flooded for a number of times. The environment in Alim's house if heavy rain can indeed cause flooding. However, somehow they do not want to move from there, even though the house is always flooded. If you are comfortable, it is difficult to move to another place.

Alifa stepped steadily towards Alim's house, carrying a small bag containing prepared food. To be able to reach Alim's house if the road is not jammed, about 30 minutes has also arrived. Alifa hopes her visit this time will bring peace and improve their relationship.

When she reached Alim's house, Alifa took a deep breath to calm herself down. He knocks on the door gently, waiting in the hope that they will receive his arrival well.

The door of the house opened and Alim appeared in front of Alifa. His face was shocked when he saw Alifa there, but Alifa gave a friendly smile. Then Alim went back to his room.

Alifa went inside Alim's house and met Alim's family who had gathered in the living room. Their house still looks messy. He said he just finished mopping. They looked surprised to see Alifa, but Alifa humbly greeted them all. His family was confused, why Alifa was not with Alim when he wanted to go home. However, it seems that without being told they understood after seeing the behavior of Alim and Alifa that was so awkward.

Alim, without guilt, chose to sleep in his room without seeing Alifa. Earlier, he apologized to Alifa for the misunderstanding. Maybe because Alifa ignored the message at that time, so Alim slightly.

Alim's family looked at Alifa with a sense of wonder. They accepted the food with great humility and thanked Alfah.

"Thank you very much, Alifa. You are very kind" said Teh Euis, Alim's aunt, sincerely.

Alifa smiled, relieved that her actions were well received. He hopes his visit this time could be a fresh start in his relationship with Alim and his family. He just does not want any enemies, would still be the same Alim or not together to be a couple.

Eius Tea called out to Alim with a slightly loud voice. "Allim! What the hell is in the room? There's Alifa here too, even in bae's room" he said with an irritated look.

Alim came out of his room, his eyes glancing towards Alifa. There was a passionate longing in his heart, but a prestige to reveal.

For a while, Alifa and Alim's family sat together, talked, and shared stories. The longer, the atmosphere becomes warmer and more comfortable. Alifa was pleased to see that her relationship was slowly improving.

After some time passed, Alifa thanked the Alim family for their hospitality and said goodbye to go home.

"Thank you for welcoming Alifa so well. Alifa came home because it was late afternoon. I want to study for the exam tomorrow. May our relationship always be good" said Alifa sincerely.

Alim's family thanked Alifa and said that they hoped for the same. They embrace each other as a sign of reconciliation.

"Who's home, Ma'am?" ask Karina plain.

"Yes, Alifa went home to ride an angkot tah?" ask Euis Tea.

Alifa smiled for a moment, "Rice Angkot, Tea. Kan Alifa can't ride a motorbike," he replied casually.

"Later Alim who nganterin," said Teh Eius while looking at Alim, as if giving a request for Alim to take Alifa. "Lu Anterin Alifa to the cost gih," he asked rather forcefully.

"People don't want geh" he said quietly, but it still sounded clear in Alifa's ears.

Alifa just kept quiet while listening to their conversation.

"Yes, you don't want that geh. The cave is also lazy if you squirm the guy kayak not responsible gini!" teh Euis was upset.

Alifa refrained from interfering. He said, "Well, why is it that Eius Tea is angry with Alim? I'm not okay, I'm taking the angkot too. This is usually self-sufficient."

It did not take long, finally Alfa followed the desire of Eius Tea to be delivered by Alim. Well, although it still looks awkward, but Alifa is easy to forgive someone.

Then, Alifa left Alim's house feeling happy. During the trip, Alim again apologized to Alifa. They forgive each other and the relationship becomes good again.
