Rejected Lecturer Guiding

One day, after finishing the Financial Statement Analysis class, Alifa followed the lecturer who taught earlier. Incidentally he was his supervisor. With a smile, Alifa entered the lecturer room, there were several lecturers who were one room with my guidance lecturer.

Alifa gave the submission of the title of the proposal, hoping to be received well, but it turned out that Alifa could be rejected.

"Miss. I know, I'm Alifa. I want to submit a proposal title. Here's the file, Miss," said Alifa as she thrust her file with a smile.

Unexpectedly, the woman whose age was no longer young was giving Alifa's file roughly.

"title replace. I don't like the theme discussed," asked Alifa's guidance lecturer with a ketus face.

Alifa's face changed. The deg! His heart was pounding because it was rejected. "It turns out true yes, the rumors circulating on this campus, if this mother is very fierce," his mind while staring at the file that has returned in his hands

With a sigh, Alifa tried to smile. "Good, Miss. I'll change the title. I will also be looking for a new research site. Thank you, Miss."

Alifa turned her body and was about to open the door to exit the room. However, suddenly the lecturer who was often called Miss Elda stopped him. Apparently he could not bear to see the expression of Alifa who suddenly limp.

"I don't want to talk about banking or insurance. Most of the companies are completely computerized. So, you can look for other research materials that are really interesting to discuss." Miss Elda's tone was suddenly soft. Whether there was any wind that had just possessed him, it turned out that he could be gentle as well.

Alifa nodded. "Good, Miss. Then if you say that sale, yes, Miss?" ask with hope even though no place who will be used as the location of the proposal material.

"Emm ..., may! But why the sale? What reason?" Miss Elda asked back.

"There are some sales that the report recording system is still manual, meaning that it is still handwritten using that note, Miss. So, with this computerized recording, it can facilitate them. More effective and efficient also for time, labor, cost-effective, and others." Alifa tried to explain with the knowledge she had. The idea just came up without any concept before. What was in his mind, he conveyed to his supervisor in the hope that this time the analysis for the design of his research material could be accepted with open arms.

"alright. Good idea of yours too. I am waiting for the next title. Emm, where's the research yet?" Miss Elda looked at Alifa seriously.

"There's no picture yet, Miss. But really can't you, Miss, if I take the title about the sale?" Alifa made sure to prepare everything.

"Yes, can. The important thing I said earlier, do not discuss banking or insurance. Continue if the sale, do not also computerized system, such as mini market or mall that," suggested Miss Elda softly. His tone could really adjust. Well, maybe adjust the condition of his heart.

"Good, Miss. Thank you very much. I'll see Miss soon for the next title submission." Alifa turned around, opened the door, and walked out with a smile.

"Bismillah! Hopefully the next title can be directly in acc. Stay tuned where the research used to be!" Alifa spoke to herself and became the center of attention of other students who were waiting for guidance in several lecturers, including the one who mentored with her.

Alifa moved her feet in happiness and headed straight for her boarding house. He walked on foot, passing through the rat road because the cost is very close to the campus.

After arriving at his boarding house, Alifa began looking for references and ideas for the title of his new proposal. He sat at his small study table with his laptop open and several books and notes scattered around. Alifa felt excited because this time the idea proposed had been welcomed by his guidance lecturer.

"Okay, let's look for some sales sectors that still use the manual system," muttered Alifa while entering search keywords into the search engine. After some time searching, he finally found some sectors that caught his attention.

"Sales in traditional markets, small grocery stores, or perhaps culinary ventures with manual bookkeeping systems," Alifa thought while noting some of the potential of the research field.

Not satisfied with just looking on the internet, Alifa also decided to talk to some friends who have experience in various business sectors. He wants a direct view of business people about the advantages and challenges of using a manual system.

Suddenly, Alifa remembered Alim.

"Oh yeah, why don't I try to talk to Alim, huh? Who knew he had a suggestion of a place for my research." Alifa immediately grabbed her phone and searched Alim's number.

When the phone is connected. Alfie did not forget to say hello.

"Nature. My title was rejected by Miss Elda. Be told to find another title and change the place of research. Do you have any advice on where?"

"Yes, I know how. I didn't go to college. College boy asks high school graduates, anyway!"

Alim always discussed his education status, even though he quit college because of circumstances.

"Don't start testing my patience."

"What does your instructor want?"

Alifa explained the plan of discussion of her research that had been delivered by Miss Elda this afternoon.

"Miss Elda actually does not want me to discuss the banking or insurance sector because most companies are already computerized. So, I have to look for other areas of research that are interesting and not yet fully computerized" said Alifa.

"Hmm, then what if you try the small retail sector or traditional grocery stores? There may still be some such efforts that use manual systems," Alim suggested.

"Gee, good idea too! I was thinking about the sales sector, but the focus was not clear. With your advice, I can focus more on finding small businesses that really still use manual systems" said Alifa excited.

"Yes, looking for small shops that have a manual system will not be difficult. You can start looking around your residence or in certain areas. Also make sure to choose a fairly representative business so that the results of your research can be more relevant," continued Alim gave instructions.

"Thank you very much, Alim! You always have brilliant ideas. I'm lucky to have you" Alifa said with gratitude.

"Of course I need your help, Alim. Can't you help me find a research place? If you want in Kalianda, I will go back and forth to the campus. Let it be around Bandar Lampung aja," Alifa pinta with hope that Alim will help.

"Yes. What's wrong with Princess Mah." Alim began to pull out his zombie style.

"Iss, what the hell! Start it, make it!" Alifa seemed to not like being pulled over by Alim, but her facial expression could not be lied to.

"All right, just give me a second if I dig, right?" Alim keeps teasing.

"Udah, ah! Tomorrow I'll be in college until 11. You picked me up at college, yeah. Later we pray zuhur first in the musala, continue new gas tancap around the world, ehh .. means around find a suitable place to be my research place."

"Yes, my princess! Ready, huh! I'll tell you again tomorrow, aja!" alim said, ending their conversation.

After talking to Alim, Alifa felt increasingly confident in the direction of her research. He also began looking for more information about the small retail sector that still uses manual systems. Alifa hopes that her research this time will get a positive response from her teaching staff.

The next day, Alifa and Alim began to explore the city of Bandar Lampung to the corners to find grocery stores or small shops that still use a manual recording system. However, all day, they have not yet found the right place.

"How many meters do we measure the road here, but have not found a suitable place? Very tired, where thirsty, and laper again," said Alifa with a face melas.

Alim saw the tired face of Alifa from the glass of his motorbike.

"Propsy. I'll see you later, too."

Alifa nodded. "Yes, what if we pray Asar first, yes. Find a place of food that has enemies or near the mosque, so you can pray first while waiting for food when we pesen pesen later." Alifa suggested because the clock has shown at 15:30 WIB.

They also went straight to a restaurant that had its enemies.

After performing Salat Asar and gasoline is fully filled, Alifa and Alim feel fresher, they are ready to continue the search for Alifa research place. They returned around the city of Bandar Lampung in the hope of soon finding a grocery store or small shop that still uses a manual recording system.

Several times they stopped and asked the surrounding residents if there was a store that fit the criteria of the Alifa research. Unfortunately, most stores have switched to computerized record keeping systems. Despite that, Alifa and Alim did not give up and continued their search.

"I hope we find the right place soon. I want to really contribute to this research" said Alifa with passion.

Alim smiled corroboratedly, "We will definitely find him, Alifa. We've put in as much effort as possible and this is part of the process. Don't lose hope."

After wandering around for quite a while, they finally saw a small grocery store with eye-catching signs. They both observed the store from a distance and saw the owner issue a manual note to record the purchase of a customer.

"Alifa, look! That's probably one of the shops we're looking for!" alim was excited.

"But it seems like the store is crowded. We have to wait for another customer to leave before approaching him" Alifa added.

They decided to stand near the store while waiting for the right moment to come closer. After a while, the store began to quiet down, Alifa and Alim walked over with hope.

"I'm sorry, sir. Can we ask you some questions about your efforts?" alifa said politely to the shop owner.

The shop owner smiled and was very welcoming. They began to talk, Alifa explained about the purpose and purpose of coming to the store.

"Of course, please ask anything. I'm ready to help" replied the shopkeeper kindly.

Alifa and Alim began interviewing the store owner, gaining valuable information about how the manual system works, the advantages and challenges it faces, and views on computerized systems.

"So, may not if I make this shop as a place of research for my thesis submission, sir?" pinta Alifa with respect.

"Well, of course you can," said the store owner.

After finishing with the interview, Alifa's face shone, finally after several hours of searching, they found a suitable place. The day is dark. Alifa took Alim home. They thanked the store owner and promised to provide research results to him.

"Alhamdulillah, finally today's effort is not in vain. Thank you, Alim, for always supporting and helping me" said Alifa.

"There's no need to say thank you, Alifa. I'm glad to be able to help and share my knowledge with you" Alim replied with a sincere smile.

Alim drove Alifa to kosan with a slow motor speed because he was not used to driving at high speed. For Alim, salvation is more important than anything else. However, he still took into account the time, adjusting the situation and conditions at that moment.

"Nih people sometimes mengeselin anyway, but make kangen. Somehow the end of my story will be, whether married to Alim or to someone else, for sure I am grateful for what I have now. Well, even if the relationship is like the ocean, yes. It can even break off like a thread, it can be connected again if it breaks." Alifa

On the way home, they enjoy the moment together while fantasizing about the next life. We hope to continue together until the end of life.
