The Surprise that Nearly Failed

One day, Alifa and her boarding friends, Humaira (brother of Alifa), Meli, Asih, Tia, Sari, Nania, and others plan something to surprise her boarding mother, Ibu Ovi. They also involved the sister of his boarding mother, Kak Gina, to succeed the plan. There are no special decorations in the event of giving a birthday surprise to their boarding mothers, just buying a simple tart cake.

They began rioting in the boarding house at midnight so that the boarding house woke up, there were two people who had a fight, the others hid in their respective rooms. Their boredom is two levels.

Alifa and the others went out of the room, they pretended to reconcile Asih and Tia, hoping that their boarding mother would wake up. But unfortunately, who heard the riot first was hansip in their boarding environment.

When their steps were caught by Hansip's sharp gaze, fear raged in their hearts. Like night butterflies being shocked when a bright light shines through the darkness of the night, they hide in the darkness of the boarding room, vibrating among the joking and rumbling. They peeked whether the hansip was still wandering around the kosan or had already left.

A few minutes later, after the situation was safe. Meli called Kak Gina, asking how their boarding house was. Their bored is indeed one place with the boarding house, only on the fence only.

Sister Gina answered the phone from Meli in a soft voice, "Hello, what's wrong?" he said that he took part in the play, but with the sound of laughter, though whispers.

Meli replied breathlessly, "Sister Gina, we were almost caught by Mr. Hansip. We're all hiding in the dorm room right now. How are things at the boarding house?"

Brother Gina who knew about the surprise plan, smiled as she replied, "Just calm down, everything is safe here. Mom was sleeping in the room. Nothing is suspicious."

Meli was relieved to hear it. He gave the news to Alifa and others who were in the boarding room. They felt grateful that their plan could still continue without any major obstacles.

In Ovi's mother's room. "Mom, kids do it again. I heard that they were reprimanded with hansip."

After a while of planning her next move, Alifa and her friends began to move cautiously. They got out of the boarding room and crossed the fence to the boarding house. While walking in the darkness of the night, they try not to make too noisy sounds so as not to disturb the boarding house and neighbors around.

Arriving at the boarding house, they entered carefully. Brother Gina opened the door with a pre-prepared key. They try as quickly as possible to prepare a surprise birthday for the boarding mother. Tia took the tart from inside the plastic bag and placed it on the living room table. Meanwhile, Nania and Sari look for candles in the kitchen and light them up immediately.

Alifa and Asih as the person in charge of this plan, told his friends to prepare to hide. They arrange themselves behind the entrance and in the corner of the room, waiting for the right moment to give a surprise.

A few minutes later, Alifa saw Ovi's mother coming out of her room. He rubbed his eyes, confused to see a slightly different atmosphere than usual. Suddenly, Mother Ovi saw the tarts and candles available on the living room table. He was surprised and smiled widely.

Although there were no magnificent decorations or sparkling lights in the space, but in their togetherness, a million stars shimmered and danced in the darkness of the night. They bring warmth and joy with the affection they share.

In the dark of the night, they give a simple, but meaningful surprise.

"Happy birthday, Mother Ovi!" alifa and her friends came out of their hiding place while singing birthday songs cheerfully.

The tar cake became a symbol of sweet friendship and the burning candle was a flame of spirit that never went out. In their boisterous laughter and singing, the atmosphere of the kosan became a small stage full of light, though adorned by shadows and darkness.

Ovi's mother was moved and delighted to see the surprise of her boarding children. Happy tears flowed down her cheeks. He felt so grateful to have them as cost kids who cared and cared.
