Dusk And Suffering

Dusk And Suffering
54. Dad's Hugs

Somehow the seconds after seconds that Dusk passed felt so slow. Already last night he was riled, If only he could change the position of his body as usual, maybe he was lying on his stomach with a pile of pillows on his head. It was the only Twilight habit when he could not sleep.

I don't know how many times Dusk glanced at the wall clock in his room. Since then, the clock has shown the number five. It's like the clock doesn't walk.

"Gosh, why is today so long? I want to see the sun immediately so that I can go home quickly," murmured an agitated twilight.

"Miss is there anything I can help you with?"

"There, but you can't do it. I need the sun to shine up there soon. I wish Dad could take me home and meet my kids. Can you do it?"

The woman laughed crisply. " I'm a mother too, I feel what you feel. I can't make the sun rise any faster, but at least we can talk at length so that time seems to pass so quickly."

"Everywhere, yeah. Mom from last night waited for me, but we don't know. What's Mom's name?" He began to be interested in talking to the woman.

"Call the Goddess Mother."

"Who's Dad?"

"Your father's confidant after your Pakde."

"That means work at Dad's office?"

"Yes, dong."

The chat continued to discuss other things, they talked about things lightly and occasionally let out laughter. At that moment, Dusk held his stomach which was still painful because it was made to laugh. They did not discuss the question of Dusk or Akmal who had just regained success after the storm came.

It is true what the goddess said. Everything will run close when we spend time talking and talking about things that are not important. Just exchanging experiences and a little story of the school period makes Dusk forget that he was waiting for the sun.

"Good morning, I heard from the outside that someone was laughing, what are you laughing at?" Akmal stepped lightly as if without any burden.

"Dad. We're laughing at Dad." Dusk replied with a laugh.

Akmal looked at the two confusedly.

"I'm sorry, sir. I'm just telling you a little story about a father who, when stressed, was looking for a pair of twins."

"God, Goddess. That's a shame, why are you telling me. Yes, forget it. You can go home now, but keep working, yeah. Thank you for taking care of Dusk so well."

The goddess simply strutted and then freed herself from there.

"Had met the doctor? I can go home, right? How kids? Did you get there? They want the formula milk?"

The barrage of questions from Dusk made Akmal laugh. Her daughter was asking questions, she really became a grown-up little girl. No longer thinking about yourself, but about others. Dusk also seemed to be ready with her status to be a mother.

"One-one question. Which one should I answer first?"

"As for Daddy. I also forgot what it was."

"What's? So you take care of my kids, Dad? The guarding mother? Must be troubling Mom. A newborn baby will wake up intermittently. Mom must be cape, why are you herein?" Instead of being happy, Dusk was worried about his mother's condition.

"The last time I met Mom, she looked thinner, her face was pale. Mom's sick, huh? Every time I ask, I don't answer. She said it was the soybean mother. But the soybean time to the extent?"

Akmal is confused. They all agreed to hide the problem of Manda's pain suffering from kidney failure. They do not want to make Dusk worry and sad when he just came out of Leo's shackles.

"Mother is healthy, son. Mom is okay. Mom is not sick. Maybe I'm thinner because she thinks of you. Perhaps also unconsciously, Mother resisted longing."

"What, huh?"

"It could be, right? In fact, just look at it now. Mom willing to stay up late to take care of her grandson, mother willing to cape to take care of her grandson. That means I'm starting to accept your presence, assume you're her child, she's just unconscious, and we need to wake her up."

"How?"

"You did last night. Hopefully I realize, you just calm down. As long as there is a father, everything will be fine. You can't give back your childhood and make it better. But, I can make your future better from now on. I'll do it from now on."

"This is how happy I am, Dad."

"It's not complete, because I'm still hiding you from my family. Sorry, yeah for now I can't open up with Dad's family. I must secretly meet you. Hiding you."

"Dad has time for me I'm thankful. It's okay if you don't see me every day. I see, there are many hearts that we have to take care of. So when can I go home?"

"Now it's okay. This is me bringing you a change of clothes. I remember you didn't bring anything here."

"Thank you" said Dusk, suddenly grabbing Akmal's hand and kissing the back of his hand.

Akmal ran his son in his arms. Things he hadn't done since the first time they met.

Happy twilight, did not expect to still be able to hug his father. The question that was always neatly arranged in the head until now is not at all issued by Dusk.

I don't know, he felt those questions didn't matter to him anymore. Being able to meet and hug her like this was enough for Dusk. A long time ago he missed.

"I'm okay with being hidden forever by Dad, but can we often be like this. Ever since I was born I have never felt the figure of an old man. I was always with Mom, but I never felt a warm touch from her." The twilight tightened his embrace.

"Dad promised to give you this hug every day, son."

They then fell silent for a moment, letting second after second sound because of the silence they created. They let those seconds pass them by, they still enjoy the touch they were supposed to do decades ago.

"Udah was sad, it was crying. We're going to meet the kids. Change of clothes, gih." Akmal stretched his arms.

"Mom gave them a name, Dad?"

"So, but I wasn't told what his name was. She said Mother, the first one to hear her grandson's name, yes you."

"Oh, huh?" pekik Dusk.
