26. The Reveal of the Past

The atmosphere was still tense as Akmal and Aldi sat side by side on the same sofa. Aldi was already calmer than he was, although his gaze still intimidated the man who had already ravaged his only sister.

"I didn't run away, brother. I admit I was wrong that night. I don't know why and what makes my ego feel at the top of my head. I just want to tie Manda up so she doesn't marry anyone, and be willing to wait for me to come back. I'm not going abroad because of my wishes, brother. It all happened so suddenly. It was undeniable that Aldi was so disappointed and angry with the man beside him. If Dusk wasn't in danger, he wouldn't be so kind and talk to this guy. "Where is Mr Leo?" ask Akmal at the reception desk.

"Sir Leo is not in the office, sir. Have you had any prior appointments?" ask the kindly beautiful woman.

While about to open his mouth to talk, the tail of Akmal's eyes caught the figure of Fais who was walking towards him.

"Good day, Mr. Fais. I have a need with Mr. Leo, can I meet him?" Akmal doesn't have time to mince words.

"Sir Leo is not in the office, sir. He hasn't been here since."

'Is Leo currently at home? Is he doing something to my son?' akmal thought in his heart.

"Can I ask for help? There's something important I need to talk about. It's a real emergency."

"Is this about work? You can talk to me, I'll tell Mr. Leo later" Fais said

"No, it's a private maslaha."
