Chapters. 66
Of course Angga was very surprised to see a police officer in full uniform suddenly at Mega's house. The officer came to him with his angry face.
While Mega sneered cynically. He felt victorious against Angga who did arbitrarily to him. And of course he didn't accept.
Mega has just learned the sad news that befell Angga. Angga's beloved daughter died after she told the truth about her parents to the little girl. You can be sure Angga will definitely blame him for the incident. So he had to prepare a shield before Angga attacked him.
"You want to kill my bangs? It's too bad you want to take the lives of people in your own home!" The middle-aged man wearing the full uniform said out loud.
Make Anga tremble for a moment. As a result of his controlling anger, his common sense had even been blinded. So that makes it desperate to finish off Mega. He doesn't even care where Mega is anymore. Because the most important thing for him is to vent his anger and resolve his heartache against Mega.
But he did not expect, inside the house Mega there was a police officer who recognized Mega as his uncle. During his relationship with Mega he did not even know if Mega had relatives of a member of the police.
"I knew you'd do this to me. Don't you think I'm stupid, Angga," said Mega smiled cynically.
Angga could only endure the growl. I want to do more, but someone is watching. His sense of well-being returned in an instant. He does not want to misstep, then in the end even he himself who loses.
"You killed my son, Mega. You have to take responsibility" Angga said, putting emphasis on each word. With a furious face, glaring eyes.
But Mega was not afraid.
"Do you see with your own eyes that I killed him? Like I'm strangling her neck, right? It is your own sick child. Now you want to accuse me?"
"Do you have any evidence that my father killed your son? Don't just accuse yourself that you don't have the evidence, Angga. You can be exposed to defamation laws," said Guntur, Mega's uncle, a Resort Police Chief in his city.
"Even if you come here with bad intentions, you can be exposed to the article of premeditated murder" added thunder.
Anga misbehaved. Confused what to say.
"You want to hold me responsible for your son's death? While you yourself do not want to be responsible for your child that I bear? I could have reported your actions, Angga," threatened Mega.
"Don't fuck you Angga. Mega has told me all about you. And I will always be watching you. If you don't want to account for what you did to my son, I can throw you in jail. You can get entangled in Article 82 of the Child Protection Act" Guntur said.
Goose ketar-ketir. He was confused, had no preparation to fight Mega. He did not think it turned out that Mega was not as stupid as he thought. At first he thought it would be easy to knock Mega out of his life, as he did with Areta. But as it turns out, Mega is much more ingenious than he thought.
After losing Areta and Rosa, she may be in jail.
While Mega smiled satisfied to see the frightened face of Angga. In vain he asked his uncle for help to scare Angga.
"So Angga, listen to me carefully. Now you have only two choices. Marry me or go to jail" said Mega.
Angga fell silent, gulped his saliva, speechless. He can't wiggle now. To fight, prison is the bet. There was no other choice for him, other than to obey Mega.
...
Standing on the balcony of the room with a blank look, Areta has been doing for almost an hour. The sun is soon setting. He is still shrouded in deep sorrow for the departure of his beloved daughter. He had not even changed the clothes he had worn to the funeral.
He let out a long sigh, surprised as a pair of burly arms wrapped around his waist.
"I know you are still sad, but please pay attention to your health as well. Since morning you haven't eaten anything." Slightly bowing, Henry propped his chin up on Areta's shoulders.
"I'm not hungry."
"You should eat, baby. I don't want to until you get sick."
Henry unravels his embrace, then turns Areta's body, bringing her face to face.
"We ate outside, huh? Just tell me what you want to eat now." Henry seemed pushy..Encouraged by his worries because since this morning Areta has not eaten anything.
Areta shook her head weakly. With tears coming back down his face. He was still very wounded, unable to accept the fact that his daughter had left him for ever.
"I'm not really hungry. Can you not force me?" Areta said with her sad face, holding back her tears from breaking.
"Sorry, baby. All right, I'm not gonna force it. But if there's anything you want to eat, you tell me? I'm really worried about you." Henry took a breath.
Areta nodded weakly.
"Come here." Henry grabs Areta into a hug. Carrying Areta's head leaning against her chest. His right hand went up and down gently sweeping Areta's back, which was now shaking from her cries.
Though all the plans he had neatly arranged for the sake of making Rosa happy. He was even preparing to introduce Henry to Rosa. He had thought of a way to tell Rosa that she would not be surprised, even if she had to lie. The important thing is that Henry can be close to Rosa first.
But what is power. God preceded his plan. Areta can't do anything.
And so does Henry. He could do nothing but give Areta comfort. He cannot resist God's will. All she could do was give Areta the support to always be by her side in this state of still mourning.
...
"Rosa's disease is more caused by shock." Nino said when he and Hera came to visit.
Nino and Henry were chatting in the living room, waiting for dinner to be prepared. As for Areta, she let her rest tonight. He had even told Agatha to give Areta space and time to ease her grief.
Luckily Agatha understood what Areta was feeling right now. So that he did the same. That gives Areta a chance to reconcile and accept reality.
"Shock?" Henry's forehead folded, still digesting Nino's sentence.
"Yes, shock. It was likely that Rosa heard something that surprised her. Earlier, Angga was having a fight with his girlfriend inside Rosa's room. There was a nurse who heard it."
"Have you told Areta this?"
"Not yet."
"It is better not to. I just don't want my wife to meet her ex-husband." It was enough for Henry to let Areta meet Angga. Instead of meeting with Rosa's reason, Angga tries to seduce Areta to return to her arms. So for now, they better keep their distance. Especially now that Rosa is gone. There was no reason for them to meet each other face to face.
"I feel sorry for Areta. For years, she fought for her daughter's recovery. He must be very sad and beaten."
"of course. He's still very hurt. Oh yeah, what should I do to cheer her up?"
Nino frowned, coming to think.
"You'd better take him for a walk. Anywhere. If you need to go to a distant place, go abroad for example. Well, that's it, all honeymooners."
Henry nodded in understanding.
"I'll consider your advice." While smiling.
"And as for Angga, I've thought of a way to teach him a lesson." The smile on Henry's face turned into a grin. He knew what to do to teach his subordinates that one.
