Between Love and Obsession

Between Love and Obsession
ACDO Chapter. 65

Chapters. 65

All the bad possibilities began to fill his head. The same premonition became more and more real when Nino came to him with a water face that ...

I don't know. He did not want to interpret the meaning of the look of Nino's face that looks unusual.

But his feelings are uncertain now. The feeling that comes from his worries and bad premonitions about Rosa's current condition.

Nino hasn't said anything. But Wirda's roaring cry reached his ears, when Wirda was allowed to enter by the sisters. Then following the voice of Angga shouting the name of Rosa accompanied by her booming cry.

Hearing the cries of her ex-husband and in-laws made her legs feel weak, almost unable to accumulate body weight. If only Henry could not come and embrace it tightly.

"I'm sorry Areta. As a doctor, I try as much as I can. But God wants something else. God loves Rosa more." Nino said softly, sad and full of regret. For his efforts were preceded by the almighty. Henry has said he will cover all of Rosa's medical expenses, including a heart transplant. But God's plan is much better. God has ended the suffering of the little girl in her fight against her illness.

Areta could no longer hold back her tears. It collapsed in Henry's arms. His world collapsed in that instant. All his efforts, his struggle ended in vain. Rosa finally left his side for all eternity.

He had hoped much for Rosa's recovery. Unlike before, he had a very difficult time financing Rosa's treatment. Until finally he met with Henry, who was willing to finance all Rosa's treatment no matter how much rupiah he had to spend. It was like finding new hope. He began to build his beautiful dreams, along with Rosa and Henry.

But now, either God might be angry with him. God took back the only lamp in his life.

Areta roared, drowning the face in Henry's chest. She knew that even if she screamed, Rosa would never be able to live again. But can he just vent his emotions right now?

It is only fitting since last night he was afflicted with uncertain anxiety. Rosa always filled the space in her head. His blood rippled, his heart pounding violently when he remembered Rosa. Apparently there was a bad sign that he had escaped realizing.

...

With her trembling hand Areta pulled open the white sheet of cloth that covered Rosa all over her body. Only until it shows Rosa's stiff face that is deathly pale, not blushing like before.

For the second time Areta's cries broke. Sedaying pain, voicing his heart that is still sliced sembilu watching the beloved baby is lying stiff lifeless again.

Angga and Wirda also shed the same tears, tears of sadness. Sad to lose Rosa, beloved daughter, the only beloved granddaughter.

"Rose ... Don't leave Mama. Rosa ..." Areta roared bitterly. Her tears were flowing down her cheeks. It is a testament to how much pain and heartbreak Rosa will be gone.

Angga, who was standing next to the bed, was struck by Areta's grief. Moved by her small heart, she was about to approach, wanting to calm Areta down.

But his movements lost quickly to Henry. Henry had already taken Areta into his arms. Gave her the most comfortable place to shed her tears. That's why it functions as Areta's life companion now. Always accompany him under any circumstances. Both when happy and difficult.

And that reality is what slaps Angga so subtly. That now he doesn't mean anything to Areta anymore. The place has been replaced. Regretting is useless, everything has already happened in the blink of an eye. Angga has now lost two jewels in his life. Areta and Rosa.

"Cry dear. Don't you hold it. Cry until the burden on your heart is reduced." Henry said, gently stroking the head of Areta who was leaning on his chest.

Angga looks jealous. While Wirda is cynical, a trivial glance at Areta. Although the reality that is emblazoned now has indirectly insinuated their self-esteem. But not once did they realize it.

...

Even the sky is cloudy. It feels like the same sadness. Rosa's funeral was solemn. Many relatives, family, colleagues and friends who came to worship. Come to the funeral as a form of condolence.

One by one the mourners began to leave the cemetery. Leave Areta, Henry and the family, as well as Angga and Wirda. Condolences flowed to him from Agatha and her family.

"Mama is sorry. Honestly, Mama is still in shock with this fact. Mama hope you're strong?" agatha gave comfort to Areta.

"I'm sorry too, Areta. You must always remember, no matter what your difficulties may be, we will always be there for you. From now on, you should get used to asking for our help. Because I assure you, we will always be ready to help you," said Hera grabbing Areta's fingers into her grasp, to give her strength and comfort.

"Thank you," Areta replied full of haru.

While on the other hand, there is nothing to comfort and give power to Angga other than Wirda, his own mother. Mega who is now pregnant with her fetus, and the cause of this happens, does not show the trunk of her nose even though just to convey her empathy.

"Patience to you, Angga. I'm sure, there is wisdom you can get from everything that happens. Just like Mom, you are deeply saddened and devastated by Rosa's passing. But, no matter how sad you are, your life must go on. Don't let anyone underestimate you" Wirda half-whispered as she glanced at Areta in an unfriendly wanderlust.

Across the street, Areta is being entertained by her new family. While here, Angga was alone. Hugging her own grief, with no one to give her any strength other than her own mother.

Though he was very hopeful, Areta would come to him, shedding sorrow on him. Because after all, Rosa is the fruit of both of their hearts.

However, let alone come closer to him, even to see it Areta was no longer willing.

"Areta, can we go back to what we used to be, even if Rosa is no longer with us?" Angga could only hope in his heart. As he expressed regret, it would not change what had happened. Because of his greed based on his obsession, he eventually lost everything. Why not be grateful for what he has. After he lost, he regretted it.

...

With a grin filled with anger, Angga pressed the doorbell impatiently.

"Wait a minute." A woman's voice came from inside.

Not long after, the door of the house opened. Without saying much, the quick movement of Angga's right hand grabbed Mega's neck. Strangling him strongly with a fiery blaze of anger.

Mega steps back slowly. Her face flushed. With all his strength he tried to get rid of the hand of Angga who was about to take his life.

"Well, w-what are you doing?" Mega fatigue asked amid his panic about Angga's unexpected actions.

"Biadabb you Mega," said Angga without letting go of his strangulation.

A few minutes ago Angga contacted Mega, asking to meet. Mega who happened to be at his house also agreed, and asked Angga to come to see him at his house only.

But Mega did not expect if Angga came with evil intentions. Angga strangled Mega until Mega had difficulty breathing and was in pain due to the strong grip of Angga's fingers.

"What do you mean?"

"You killed my son."

"Don't just accuse you Angga."

"I won't spare you Mega. I'll kill you right now."

"People!" Suddenly, someone's voice sounded. Making Angga surprised, then release his hand grip from Mega's neck when he saw a middle-aged man in a complete police uniform standing across. He unsheathed his sharp gaze with a face filled with anger.

Mega also smirked thinly, with a grinning smile etched on her lips. It was not in vain that he asked Angga to come. Unbeknownst to Angga, a trap had been waiting for him.
