“New builders at LPM?” I just took a sip of iced tea in my classroom when Aruna suddenly sat in front of me and told me that there was new news at LPM that I should know right now.

At first I thought that one of the articles I made or the results of an interview that I and Aruna did to a top official of a BUMN company was successfully published by the national newspaper. But in fact Aruna brought news that made me raise an eyebrow.

“Eh-emm, and you know who the new builder at LPM is?” I asked as if I wanted to know that far.

To me whoever is the Student Press Agency coach on my campus is not a problem. The most important thing for me is that the new coach can bring buzz to the campus LPM and bring progress to LPM.

“Indeed sir Danis where should kok be replaced by a new builder?” my question when I realized that it means Mr. Danis is no longer serving as the coach of LPM.

“Yes, Za. Mr. Danis ‘kan moved to Malaysia to continue his doctoral school there. Don't you know yet?”

“Oh yes? I just heard it.” And I am not a typical student who likes to gossip while talking about handsome new lecturers, female lecturers who are soon on maternity leave, or just commenting on the clothes of other students who pass in front of me. So, I think it's only natural that I didn't know that Mr. Danis had left for Malaysia to continue his doctoral education there.

“But not important, the most important thing is that you must know who is the new Builder in our beloved LPM.” I chuckled, looking at Aruna's expression on the face when she said that to me. It's like the kid was telling me that he just won a million-dollar lottery today.

“Indeed who replaced Danis's pack to become the builder of LPM?”

“Pak Gibran Wibisana Hotel. The young, handsome, charismatic new lecturer.” This time I almost choked on iced tea in my own mouth heard Aruna's reply. “He's an economics faculty lecturer ‘kan? Didn't she teach your class?”

For two weeks I always tried to be normal every time Mr. Gibran taught in my class or when we accidentally passed each other in the campus. Just so that my feelings don't become more chaotic and get back under control like when Mr. Gibran has not been a lecturer at this campus. And now I just heard that it turns out Mr. Gibran became the LPM Builder where I spent the rest of the day after my lecture was finished. That means there will be more interaction between me and the man.

“Oh, yes. Mr. Gibran taught two courses in my class.”

Oh God, just saying my heart's name doesn't feel like this.

It is undeniable that the incident as a pair that I experienced two weeks ago still can not forget the slightest item. Plus every time Mr. Gibran entered my class or when we accidentally crossed paths, my heart acted strangely by beating faster. Really, it's not the first time I've offered an umbrella to a lecturer, even I've been with Mr. Danis, but it feels normal. We are becoming more and more familiar instead of being as awkward as has been the case between me and Mr. Gibran lately.

‘This is not true, Za. You shouldn't feel something like this.’

“Why are you, Za?”

“What?”

“You why look surprised when you know that Mr Gibran replaced sir Danis?”

So, what else can I do if Aruna has put on a probing face like that? Of course I just chuckled and started scooping the instant noodles my order had just delivered by the cafeteria mother to cover the anger on my face. The strange laugh that actually makes this girl in front of me even more annoying face.

“Not really,” mulaiku while again sipping iced tea in front of me. “Only it feels strange that Mr. Gibran became the coach of LPM while he is a lecturer of fiqih muamalah and islamic management. If Mr Danis is clear because he has a journalistic background ‘kan?” well, I have absolutely no intention of demeaning Mr. Gibran or harassing the man's intelligence. But really, I was wondering why Mr. Gibran should replace Mr. Danish.

“First because Mr. Gibran is young and LPM campus needs young lecturers who are active and like the students, Za.” And this time Aruna like back to being her own logical and tactically minded.

“And the second, indeed you do not know that when you were a student of S2, Mr Gibran often became a research partner of several professors who research about many things? One of them is about the influence of mass media on the spread of Islam in Blora, Central Java.” Aruna's unyielding connection made me frown. Even I chose to stop my activities eating instant noodles in front of me when Aruna mentioned Blora.

“Blora?”

“Vietnam. Where you grew up and mondok for seven years.” Reply Aruna proudly as if she is a running database that is poultice with the educational background of all her friends. “Together with Himawan professor, professor at one of the public universities in Bandung. I read his journal a few months ago.”

This time I was silent not because I was trying to control my feelings which suddenly became unreasonable because I was talking about Mr. Gibran. But I fell silent because I was completely at a loss for words to simply respond to Aruna's sentence.

“The research was done in 2013 if not wrong. That means at that time you were still in Blora ‘kan?”

Professor Himawan, obviously I am no stranger to that name because several times I found his journal in one of the portals that provide research journals and essays. It's just that I never thought that Mr. Gibran knew him well and had been a research partner at Blora.

Blora, 2013, and Mr. Gibran. I can't help but smile thinly considering those three things.
