Chapter 63 - Saving Yourself

Before running, Ryan hooked his hand with Ruby's fingers. The two immediately ran together as fast as they could. The rumbling that sounded was getting stronger. Stinging building fumes begin to interfere with vision, as well as the respiratory tract.

"Ryan, where are we going?!" ethan asked in a loud voice. The run stopped because the road was dead.

Ryan automatically scanned his gaze quickly. Until his attention was fixed to a round door made of iron. Without a second thought, he immediately ran to the door. The same goes for Ethan and Ruby.

"Damn! we don't have the key!" ethan complains while observing the state of the door in front of him.

Ryan suddenly gives his briefcase to Ruby. Then take the time to come back. Directly to the ruins of the building that continues to fall.

"Ryan!!!" pekik Ruby did not accept. Her eyes widened. But he was relieved to see Ryan back. The man just took a key.

"That's right. Didn't you build this place? At least you know the building's plans!" Ethan retaliated. He's the one who walks the back. Right behind Ruby.

"You think I built this gutter?! Of course not. My headquarters just happened to be connected to this place!" ryan nodded at Ethan. His forehead shriveled deep. Obviously the way he spoke was very different when talking to Ruby earlier.

"It is fitting that this place is not destroyed. Your building is no better than government property." Ethan is back.

This time Ryan had no power to hold back. He turned around and approached. Then gripped tightly onto Ethan's collar with one hand.

"Can you shut your fucking mouth?!" timpal Ryan with a glare of his guts.

"I should act now, for it is clear here that you are the one in trouble. Know it? What happened to your base also happened to The Drugs!" Ethan spoke in a tone of emphasis. One hand pointed towards the ruined Ryan headquarters building.

"Whoever it is, I'm sure the traitor must be working with Jordan!" ethan says. His face looks convincing.

Ryan can't argue with Ethan. Because the enemy that hates him the most is Jordan, the head of the Black Cindicate mafia. Or rather the birth father of Ruby.

"By the way, have you found the traitor?" ask Ethan who now changes his tone to be slower.

"Max said it was Ken. He's the one who detonated the bomb for the first time" Ryan explained. He's running past Ethan. Intending to continue his journey again.

"Isn't Max suspicious?" said Ruby. Come in to the conversation.

"You think I don't suspect him? I won't stay silent when I see his face." Ryan was silent for a moment. Then stop the steps. Suddenly it came to his mind about something. He looked back and looked at Ethan again.

"Ethan, you're actually on the list of people I suspect. So did Henry," Ryan said. He refused to look at Ruby.

"What?! How dare you suspect Henry! If he wasn't around, I wouldn't have survived until now!" Ruby immediately defended Henry.

Ryan only spoke a thousand languages, and continued to move on.

"Ryan! Are you listening?!" Ruby who felt neglected, held firmly on Ryan's shoulders.

"All right, I get it!" sahut Ryan's. Without looking.

"Hey, what about me?! You said you suspected me too?! If I were the traitor, then I wouldn't be stuck here with you, fool!" ethan concluded while tightening his jaws annoyed.

Ryan finally shut his mouth. He did not want to waste time arguing anymore. The most important thing now is that she and Ruby can get out of this messy place.

Step, Ryan, Ruby and Ethan came to a standstill when they saw that there were two paths ahead. Honestly, none of them knew the right way.

Ruby shook her head, then stepped first. Ryan and Ethan were looking astonished. Both follow Ruby.

"How do you know it's the right way?" hatch Ryan. Directing the light from her phone towards Ruby.

"Looks like your wife knows better than you do" Ethan commented. Just keep saying something that pisses Ryan off.

"simple. This is a sewer. So, wherever the chosen path must be headed outwards. I'm sure it is." Ruby explained.

Ryan smiled faintly, when he heard Ruby's testimony. He was amazed by his wife. She knew from the beginning that Ruby was a smart girl. The girl just needs to be well trained and guided.

From a distance, it looks like the light is growing. Especially as Ruby stepped forward.

"That's the way out!" ruby said, full of hope. He stepped forward to approach the light. But when he arrived, his footsteps had to stop. For there is no footing for his feet anymore. The girl could not balance herself and eventually slipped. Ruby fell down.

Ryan watched in a swift pursuit. Fortunately, he caught Ruby's arm. Now his wife was hanging in his clutches. His heart was racing back quickly. Ruby slowly looked down. He trembled even more when he saw his existence quite far from the ground.
