Chapter 45 - Contending In The Ring

Day by day passed. Winter has arrived. Snow filled the whole city. In every shop and building began to show Christmas trees full of flickering lights. Everyone began to be preoccupied with the holidays, and focus on their families. But not for criminals, the moment is a golden opportunity for action. Banks and public places are no longer filled with workers.

Ryan is preparing for his winter mission. Unlike other criminals who tend to be interested in going to the bank, Ryan is more interested in museums. Many antiques and valuable things he was after.

Unlike Ryan who was preoccupied with plans for his mission, Ruby was intensively practicing martial arts. His ability is getting better. He who was unable to push up a hundred times, can now do more than that amount. Two days ago Ruby had a match with Mike. Amazingly in his first match, Ruby immediately gained victory.

The victory made Ruby more excited to continue practicing. He spent an hour in the training room. Today it just so happens that Max is Ruby's opponent in the ring. The match was closed.

"Why should this match be kept secret?" ask Max while removing the top shirt. Then put on boxing gloves on both hands.

"Why indeed? I'm still not ready to compete in front of a lot of pairs of eyes" Ruby replied. He now only wore a tanktop and knee-length shorts. His hair is tied in a ponytail style. The girl just finished practicing punching samsak. Glossy sweat managed to make his white skin become fresh and tempting.

"Okay, you two better get in the ring. Before there were many people coming into this room." Mike gave advice. He will be the referee for Ruby and Max.

After putting on the boxing gloves, Ruby immediately climbed into the ring. Facing Max who was ready with all the heating. Ruby and Max react to each other, when Mike gives a cue.

"You should know, I won't be merciful. Even if you're a girl," Max said. She and Ruby were walking around in a circle. They both gave determined looks.

"Who needs your mercy!" sahut Ruby's. He attacked first. Shoot his fist right into Max's face. However, Max shies away. So that the fist given by Ruby did not hit the target.

Max chuckles to laugh at Ruby's missed attack. He immediately retaliated and mumbled his fist abruptly. Ruby no longer had time to escape. His chin and stomach were hit by Max's fist. Ruby's feet automatically step back. Even so, the girl did not want to give up. He gritted his teeth, then launched a barrage of attacks.

Sure enough, Ruby's chain fist managed to overwhelm Max. As a result of feeling motivated, Ruby added one kick to Max's leg. Max staggered and fell on the floor. Seeing the scene, Mike immediately voiced and paused the match.

"What the fuck, Ruby? Did Mike teach you that?" timpal Max tried to get up to stand up.

"No! I never taught him to cheat!" Mike was defending himself.

"Sorry, I feel too excited. Mike was right, he never taught me that." Ruby smiled wryly as she rubbed her nape for no reason.

Door opens slowly. The figure of Sarah. His eyes were directed towards Ruby. Without saying a word, the short-haired girl walked up the ring. He took off his shirt. Until only leaving the tanktop and pants that he wore.

"Sarah, what are you doing?" ask Ruby. I don't know why his feet stepped back. It was like trying to avoid Sarah. He hoped that what Sarah was doing was not what she had expected.

Ruby turned the puffed-up eyeball. He was not at all threatened by Sarah's sharp gaze. But not for Mike and Max, they certainly worry about Ruby.

"Ruby I suggest not. You've only been training for a few weeks, not comparable to Sarah who's been training for years." Max whispered into Ruby's ear. She doesn't want to see Ruby beaten to the brunt by Sarah.

Instead of being affected, Ruby was angry with Max's words. His forehead is upset. "Why are you even comparing that? You think I won't win?!" he said, which immediately managed to make Max silent.

"Think about it first. You won't be able to go on a winter mission if you get sick." Mike held Ruby's arm. His face looked worried.

"I don't care!" hardik Ruby's. He threw Mike's hand off his arm. Ruby walked in front of Sarah. A sharp exchange of gazes ensued between the two. Mike had no choice but to start the game.

Just as Mike was making a sound, Sarah had already launched her fist. His movements were so agile and seemed powerful. Fortunately Ruby was able to escape.

Sarah is determined to overwhelm Ruby. Moreover, his strength was now at a high level. He did not give Ruby a chance to retaliate. His fists continued to be held in succession. This causes Ruby to be automatically cornered into the rope that surrounds the ring.

Mike tried to stop the game. But Sarah ignored him completely.

"Whoo! Stopit! You cheated!" ruby Protest. His face was grimacing, as a result of the pain he received from Sarah's fist.

"Didn't you cheat against Max? So, take the payoff!" sahut Sarah. Still haven't stopped beating.

"Miss, please stop. You've been overreacting." Mike ventured to stop Sarah's movements. However, he even got a fist punch in his nose.

"Don't bother me!" furious Sarah. He was careless for a moment because he had to overcome Mike's behavior. That's when Ruby seized the opportunity to retaliate.

Ruby attacked Sarah from behind. They both fell to the floor simultaneously. Sarah is on her back. Ruby is on Sarah's body. Ruby immediately beat Sarah as hard as she could. His actions certainly made Sarah even more upset.

Sarah mustered all her strength to fend off Ruby's attack. He's trying to take over the position. But Ruby won't let it be that easy. I don't know what she's thinking, so she's gonna bite Sarah's head off.

Ruby was so upset that was how she felt. He does not want to be defeated easily. Ruby just proves that she doesn't deserve to be underestimated.

"Well-aa-aaaakhh!!!" Sarah groaned in pain, because the bite Ruby did was quite strong. The commotion that occurred made some people flock to the training room.

Watching there were many people watching, Ruby hurried to her feet. Then get out of the ring. His face looked pouted.

Sarah has just changed her position to sit. He turned his eyes towards Ruby. Actually, he has a reason to be angry, because Ryan just told him that Ruby will lead the winter mission.
