Chapter 52 - Ending Everything

Ryan slept for five hours. He was in the VIP room in the hospital. Ryan's eyes opened slowly. He immediately held onto his injured area. Fortunately, the wound had been treated and bandaged by a doctor.

"Ryan!" Megan quickly approached Ryan.

"Megan?.." replied Ryan softly. He spread his eyes around. Trying to figure out where he is. Slowly Ryan changed his position to sit down. His hands ruffled his hair several times.

"I'm here, Babe." Megan hugged Ryan from the side. She knew her husband was frustrated.

"You better not have to look for Ruby anymore. Isn't that just a waste of energy? Look at you now" Megan said, giving advice.

"Is Sarah here too?" instead of responding to Megan's words, Ryan instead spoke in another direction. Makes Megan automatically take off her arms.

"He's on his way" Megan replied with a disappointed grunt. His concern continues to be ignored. Megan stood up and tried to move on.

"Megan, I'm not done yet." Ryan's call stopped Megan's leg. The blonde girl sat down next to Ryan.

"Okay, do you want to talk about something?" ask Megan. Both of his eyebrows shot up excitedly. Because he thought Ryan must have agreed with the advice he proposed earlier. After the accident, Ryan will no longer care about Ruby.

Unlike Megan, Ryan instead put on a serious face. He then said, "Megan, it looks like our relationship should end here."

"Fuck that! You don't know the ordinary world feels worse than the crime world. Where a traitor will not be immediately shot. I don't want to be in this world constantly. People in the entertainment world, more hypocritical than you think." Megan insists.

"I'll take it with pleasure, Ryan." Sarah carved a faint smile. He reached out to Ryan. Invite the man to shake hands.

Ruby decided to take shelter in front of the shoe store. The shop looks very quiet. The seller is even just an old lady. The shoes on the shelf looked dusty. Ruby believes all her shoes are old. Worth it, the shop will be empty of visitors.

Ruby's breath was taken out of her mouth. He stared at the snow that was expanding into the air. It feels beautiful, it's still cold. This causes Ruby to automatically wrap both hands around her own body.

Ruby changed position to crouching. He was intending to wait for the snow to subside a little. He hopes he won't wait long. Ruby's view is focused on the ground. The snow looks thick.

A pair of legs suddenly appeared from the side. Then stand right in front of Ruby. Making Ruby forehead then shrivel in wonder. From his shoes, he was sure the figure in front of him was a man. Slowly Ruby looked up, and tried to confirm it with her own eyes.

Ruby's eyes widened, when she saw who the man who was standing in front of her. How not? He was the one he hadn't seen for many years.
