Chapter 101 - Failing to Expel [Season 2]

The silence in the car happened again. Ryan only realized that from the beginning he had not contacted Mike or Ethan to pick him up.

"Mike, how do you know I'm waiting for an invitation? I just called Zac." Ryan nodded while slightly tilting his head.

"We happened to see you guys on the side of the road. Mike and I stopped for wanting to know how you were doing." Ethan answered earlier than Mike. Honestly, from earlier Mike's eyes twitched due to a strike from Ethan's mouth who always wanted to roar.

"Where are you from?!" ryan folded his arms in front of his chest.

"Mike actually-"

"We originally wanted to buy groceries, but a small accident had to happen earlier. Thank God, I can take good care of all the problems!" Mike finally spoke up. He accidentally cuts off a remark from Ethan. Slowly he glanced at Ethan. "Unlike this man sitting next to me, he purposely left me alone to confront the police" he continued, completing the explanation.

"What's? Me?! Why are you blaming me? Obviously you're the one who insisted on not taking me off the car?!" ethan replied with a sharp look.

"You are the impatient! So-so"

"Can you shut up?!" snapped Ruby. He could no longer bear to hear the debate that was happening. Mike and Ethan are silent. Everyone automatically returns.

Ryan just called all his subordinates to come to Chicago. For safety, he took everyone aboard his private plane.

When using a private plane, privacy is the most important thing for the airline. So whoever the owner is, they'll keep secrets as best they can. Even fugitive criminals. Most importantly, the person can afford all the expenses. So Ryan need not worry, the police will intercept him at the airport. Because he uses a special path that separates from the general path.

Ruby lays herself onto a mattress that is available on a private plane. His mind and body felt so tired. It felt like Ruby wanted to vent everything by punching as many samsaks as possible. I don't know why it suddenly came to her mind.

Arriving in the city of Chicago, Ruby and the others immediately went to the new headquarters of The Shadow Holo. Gaby, who happened to be there, was very happy to see everyone coming. Especially Ruby.

Gaby hugged Ruby tightly, then invited her to rest. Gaby escorts Ruby to a luxurious room with a view of Chicago behind the window. Ryan this time gave Ruby a nicer room than before.

Ryan deliberately slowed his footsteps. Until when Ethan passes in front of him, he swiftly intercepts. Ethan's path stopped before he could enter the door to the base.

"I think there's a lot of work to be done!" exclaim Ryan. Closer to Ethan's face. His gaze was so threatening, yet it did not succeed in scaring Ethan away.

"Yes, you're right. I missed a lot of things when I left. What the hell's going on? Why did you suddenly accept Ruby's pregnancy? Are you just pretending?" Ethan replied casually.

Ryan rolled his eyes. He clutched tightly onto Ethan's collar. "What do you care?! What happened to me and Ruby is a personal matter. People like you don't have to interfere!" firmly while removing the rough grip. It caused Ethan to stagger slightly backwards.

"So, you're not gonna let me stay here? Are you afraid I'll take Ruby from you?" hatch Ethan. Both of his hands were placed in his pants pocket.

Ryan smiled lightly. "Why am I afraid of a fucker like you!" the reply was indifferent.

"really? I doubted it. Because lately Ruby started to melt into me," said Ethan while pulling the collar of his jacket to give an affirmation.

Ryan was upset. "Go as far as Ethan can go! I've had too much compassion for you!" throw it away with emphasis.

"You're expelling Ethan?" Ruby suddenly appeared from behind the door. His forehead shriveled deep. His eyes were on Ryan.

"Ethan isn't going anywhere! I want him to stay here!" firmly Ruby. Slowly directs his eyeballs to look at Ethan. "Come Ethan! You should rest too!" take Ruby with you while turning your back towards the door. I wanted to leave Ryan alone.

"Ruby, listen to me!" Ryan held onto Ruby's wrist. I need Ruby to look back.

"Ethan has helped us a lot, Ryan. If you throw him out on jealousy, you're totally selfish! You better take care of a way to get Frans out of jail!" ruby. Then forcibly took Ryan's hand off her. He enters the base along with Ethan.

"WOWGAHH!" Ryan slammed his hat to the ground. He's feeling really upset. His attempt to get Ethan out didn't go well. To him Ethan is just a hammer worth getting rid of.

Ruby walked in the lead. Lead Ethan to a comfortable room. Honestly, from now on Ruby was just silent and did not say a single word.

"I heard Ryan has accepted your pregnancy, but why are you still fighting?" ask Ethan who has positioned himself to walk beside Ruby.

"I don't want to talk about anything, Ethan." Ruby stopped her steps right in front of a room door. "Rest! If Ryan does anything to you, just call me" he said with a flat face.

"What the fuck! You act like you have more power than me" Ethan said. A little slump in a moment.

"For now it is true. Only I can help you!" Ruby smiled briefly. Put up a ruffled pose on his waist, then immediately leave from before Ethan.

Ruby returned to the room, and went straight to the bed. It felt so empty, when he realized that he was sleeping alone. Ruby couldn't argue that she missed Ryan by her side. But for Ruby, Ryan deserves to be punished for his mistakes. He was about to see how hard Ryan struggled for her.

Without feeling it, Ruby fell asleep when she was too wrapped thinking about Ryan. He slept very well. Seconds change minutes. Until finally Ruby can rest well.

The next day, at four in the morning. Ruby was in the gym. He was busy punching the samsak with all his might. Ruby did it for a long time. His strength never seems to run out.

Ruby happens to tie hair in the style of a ponytail. The child's hair around the temple, has been moistened by sweat.

The first person to discover Ruby was Gaby. The girl immediately came to Ruby with anxious feelings.

"Ruby, why are you practicing punching! Is it okay to do it while pregnant?" gaby asks while trying to stop Ruby's strenuous activities.

"I'm really excited, Gabe. I don't know why, but this makes me relieved and a little happy. In between his breath setting. Gaby just nodded. He sat on a chair while watching Ruby practice.

Ryan was in his private room. He didn't sleep all night. He sat facing his desk. Thinking of something while playing a small antique in his hand.

After much thought, Ryan finally came up with the idea to release Frans from prison. That is by doing a massive disguise.

Without a second thought, Ryan immediately called out to all his subordinates. He wanted to find one of the members of The Shadow Holo who was expertly speaking. Unfortunately, all of Ryan's subordinates only have the power to fight, hack, and sneak. It was all Ryan's own choice. He doesn't like to work with people who talk a lot.

Ryan snorted violently. He massaged the head area slowly. Ryan tried to find another way, but his brain felt deadlocked. The thought of leaving Frans in jail, had occurred to him in his mind.

Mike who can see Ryan's uneasiness walks over. Because he knows people who are good at talking. Even though he was hated by Ryan. But what's wrong with trying? Mike was not thinking of anyone else.

"Boss, what about Ethan? I think he's the right guy, if you really want someone who's good at talking." Mike ventured to make a sound. His words succeeded in making Ryan stop kneeling his head.
