Chapter 55 - Henry's Explanation [2]

After hearing Henry's story. Ruby was still curious about a few things. It's about Ryan and also the reason Jordan wants to bring him back. The girl asked Henry.

"Regarding Ryan. She was your mother's best partner. I heard Ryan owes Lucy a lot of money. That's why Ryan's willing to save you" Henry said. Tell me about Ryan. He doesn't really know Ryan. Just knowing the stories of some close friends.

"Curtain! Saving you say?" Ruby responds cynically. It flashed through his mind about everything Ryan had done. The man was wishing for his love. Nah! even her love.

"Did you fight with him?" ask Henry. She did not understand Ruby's expression which suddenly became scowled.

"It's not. Ryan has two other wives besides him. Ruby doesn't take it." Ethan gives an answer to Henry. He knew, Ruby would definitely not be willing to explain.

"REally?!" henry's eyes were round. He's setting up the body. Then slowly back to the back of the chair. His head was flicked a few times. "Every mafia boss turns out to have his own madness" he commented.

"Is that why you ran away from Ryan?" Henry probes.

Not yet had Ruby say, Ethan already answered. "I'm sure so!" Ethan crossed his chest with confidence.

Ruby who heard immediately floated a five-finger stamp onto Ethan's cheek. He wanted the man to shut up. "If you don't know anything, you better shut up!" word, furious. After slapping Ethan on the cheek, Ruby smacked her hand at the table.

"But at least Ryan never hurt you. Didn't we?" said Henry. Stare with a thin, expanding smile.

Ruby is silent a thousand languages. He could not argue with Henry. He admitted that Ryan always kept him safe. Megan and Sarah make Ruby feel like she is always under threat.

Ruby threw away all her thoughts on personal matters. He immediately went on to ask Henry for an explanation. Especially about why Jordan intends to bring him back. Then, the reason behind Henry could meet again with Jordan.

"Jordan found me. He threatened to kill me and my confidant. His name is Luke. He's a loyal man who's been putting me in a coma." Henry said while bowing down.

"Keep, how's Luke doing now?" Ruby folds her hands on the table.

"I don't know. Jordan held him captive at one of the secret bases." Henry stopped sucking his cigar. He put the thing on the table.

"Why are you reckless..." Ruby didn't finish the sentence. For he could draw his own conclusions, if Henry chose to betray to help him. In Ruby's mind, did Henry also do it in the past? If so, then Henry has sacrificed a lot for him. The middle-aged man must have betrayed Jordan twice, just to help Ruby.

"I actually found you when I got out with Ethan from the car. But I'm trying to keep delaying time, so you can go further and further." Henry bluntly. He let the conversation flow. Until indirectly, he finally expressed his concern for Ruby.

"The arrival of Ethan with Jordan with a man from the cast of The Shadow Holo, makes me unable to delay any longer. They have pictures of you, and they follow me everywhere I go. Until the end I had no choice but to approach you" Henry said. There was a tinge of regret on his face.

"So any of Ryan's subordinates are traitors?" guess Ruby. Slightly leaning his chest closer to the table.

Henry nodded slowly. "Right, I think he's the main reason Jordan wants to bring you back. Because the traitor told me you were a very special girl to Ryan. Lately, business competition is getting fierce. The Shadow Holo is slowly rising, though not yet beyond the success of The Black Cindicate, Jordan is indeed psycho. He seems intent on making his organization the best." Henry grunted violently. He played his index finger tapping into the table. Produces a certain sound that immediately succeeds in breaking the silence of his old house.

"Do you know the name of the man who betrayed Ryan?" Ruby put her ears on nicely. He's determined to remember who betrayed Ryan.

"I don't know, obviously he's a man." Henry shakes. Even so, he gave a specific clue.

"I'm still mad at him. I had no intention of speaking to him at all." added Ruby.

"With Ryan?" guess Ethan. His shoulders immediately poked. While his lower lip slightly moved, as if he did not care.

"But, if not told, something bad could happen to Ryan and The Shadow Holo. Traitors must be exterminated, even if it's just one person" Henry said.

Ruby closed her eyes. He finally shifted the phone screen. Looking for Ryan's name in phone contact. Even so, his thumb was still hesitant to suppress the man's name.

"Wait, wait. Before I act, I wonder if you guys have a safe place for me? Where will Ryan or Jordan never find me again?" Ruby suddenly had other plans.

"So you mean..you want to go far away, and won't care about all the bad things that happened to Ryan?" concluded Henry. I never met Ryan in person. She felt she could trust the man to take care of Ruby. Especially after knowing Ruby is a special girl for Ryan.

Ruby felt overwhelmed. To be honest, his love has not faded. He certainly cares about Ryan.

"Just call him. At least you told Ryan there was a traitor in the mine." Henry gave me advice.

"I hope not! Ruby, why would you take the trouble to escape, if in the end you're the one who came to Ryan." Ethan is protesting. Because she does not want Ruby to go back to Ryan. I don't know what the reason is.

"If you care about him, you better call him." Henry remained in his stance. No matter the difference of opinion that goes on between him and Ethan.

Ruby is confused. He felt that Henry and Ethan's words were just as true. The girl stared blankly at the screen of her phone.

Meanwhile, Ryan had just left the hospital. Walk with Megan. They're gonna go together to the headquarters in Los Angeles.

Ryan and Megan are in the same car. Ryan sat in front of the steering wheel, while Megan was beside him. Sitting silently while playing her fingers. Megan is still disappointed by the decision Ryan has made against her. But the girl has not been able to leave Ryan's side.

"I'm suddenly feeling lonely right now." - Megan. Staring at the window glass with eyes that glow with clear liquid. He tried so hard not to cry. And then hide it from Ryan. However, the tightness of his chest made Megan unable to hold him anymore. Although often violent, Megan is still a woman. They are sensitive and want attention.

A snorting sound from Megan's nose, made Ryan realize that the girl sitting next to him was crying.

"Megan, why are you being so emotional" Ryan said. Glanced at Megan in passing.

Megan chose silence. He busied himself wiping away the tears that accidentally fell on his cheeks.

Unexpectedly, Ryan stopped the car to the side of the road. Megan was overwhelmed with feelings of confusion. Megan automatically thinks that Ryan is trying to get her out of the car. The blonde girl immediately held the car door handle.

"May you find it, Ruby..." Megan said good-bye. But had not been able to open the door, Megan even stopped her movements, then hugged Ryan. The girl broke the cry. He whined and begged to stay.

"Let me stay with you, Ryan. I'll do anything, please.hiks! hyks!" pinta Megan tightens her grip.
