Chapter 29 - Between Two Options

Ruby's breath moves up and down in a fast tempo. He still felt a burning anger. His eyes continued to be glued towards the helicopter that was flying away. But the sound of Ethan's tongue cracking requires Ruby to turn the body backwards. He watched as Ethan stood before him. The man was not alone, but with Liam and his entourage.

"Hello Helen, or should I call you Ruby?" greet Ethan while folding his hands in front of his chest. He seems to have known all the identity of Ruby from Liam.

Ruby closed her eyes tightly, gritting her teeth. He doesn't know what to do. Because he is alone now.

"Say Liam you're the wife of the mob boss of The Shadow Holo. His name is Ryan, right? Pff!" Ethan paused his sentence as he tried to hold back the laughter. "I heard you were the third wife. Are you kidding me? Is that not an extreme position? Ahaha!" continued. Ethan laughed off. It even spread to some other members of The Drugs.

Ruby was still in place. He could only turn his eyes off guard when he heard Ethan's babble. The girl's frustration grew. Ethan is a bitch to him. He was never interested in this man from the beginning.

"Guys, this girl wants to be made a third wife. Imagine? In modern times, he wants to be treated that way. Ahaha!" ethan's laughter and his entourage grew. Mocking Ruby constantly.

Since Ethan looks non-threatening, Ruby emboldens herself to step away. Try to get through Ethan calmly. But of course his departure is not allowed. Ethan's hand swiftly held onto Ruby's shoulder.

"Let me give you a chance!" ethan. Making Ruby automatically turn her attention towards him.

"Join with us, Ruby. Why are you back with people who don't care about you. Just look at them, didn't you just get kicked off?... Ryan doesn't even seem like he's going to save you here. I have an amazing partnership with many mafia organizations. Including the archenemy The Shadow Holo. They're all on this ship." Ethan added. Offering an offer to Ruby.

Ruby's forehead frowned. He was curious. "Cruel enemies?" his question, which was immediately answered with a nod of the head by Ethan.

"The Black Cindicate, Ryan hates them so much. Because they've stolen a lot of his business associates. Including The Drugs. That's probably why he wanted to steal our stuff in the green bunker" Ethan said at length.

Not yet Ruby replied, the faint sound of the approaching helicopter suddenly sounded. All his attention and Ethan went straight to the helicopter.

"Ah, it seems like my guess is wrong." Ethan pulls Ruby's hand to go with him.

While the other members of The Drugs, seemed to be preparing to fire bullets at the incoming helicopter. But their actions soon stop Ethan.

"Let your weapons down, let the man get off the chopper!" ethan's Word. All the conspirators complied. It was then that Ruby took the opportunity to forcibly remove her hand from Ethan, and her efforts succeeded.

The helicopter landed smoothly on the ship. His arrival instantly attracted the entire attention of everyone on the cruise ship. Ryan's figure is seen coming out of the helicopter. His face looked a little battered. This was the effect of the mission he had just completed.

"You're a total coward. Getting your wives to sneak in here?.. It was a big mistake!" ethan shakes his head.

"I did, because I'm sure, The Drugs cabal must be led by a fool like you!" ryan replied with a sharp look.

Ethan turned his puffed-up eyes and said, "Have nothing to talk about. Since you're here, I'll offer you something."

Ryan was deliberately silent. Putting his ears together to hear Ethan.

"The Drugs will work with you again, but on one condition. I want this girl to be mine!" Ethan pulls Ruby closer.

Ryan chuckled for a moment. "You seem to be in love with my wife" he commented casually. Both of Ryan's hands are seen being put in his pants pocket. "Of course I refused. It was my goal to even come here, because I wanted to pick her up!" firmly Ryan. He immediately looked at Ruby. "Let's go Ruby, let's go home now!" ryan's hand was raised. Hope to get a hand-welcome from Ruby.

"Ruby, now is your chance to escape from that bastard. I'm sure you won't want to be his third wife!" ethan. Trying to convince Ruby. I don't know what made him insist on keeping the girl. It's likely that Ethan feels that his business is not done with Ruby.

"You've tricked me. And look at me? I didn't even scold you at all. I-i-"

"Shut up, asshole!" Ryan deliberately stopped Ethan's influence. He was about to hear Ruby's decision.

All pairs of eyes were now fixed towards Ruby. The girl occasionally looked at Ryan and Ethan in turn. Ruby thought, no matter where she was, things would remain the same. Before leaving, Ryan fired a bullet right into Liam's head. The traitor who has messed up his mission. Liam died on the spot. In a head covered with blood. Next, Ryan rushed after Ruby into the helicopter.

The helicopter slowly expands into the air. Fly away smoothly, and away from the cruise ship.

"Ethan, why are we silent? Don't you intend to stop him?!" Mr. June tries to rebuke Ethan. But the man he rebuked was still silent. Keep staring at the helicopter moving away. He let Ryan and Ruby go safely. Even ignoring the circumstances of Liam who had lost his life.

In the helicopter, Ryan kept looking at Ruby. He was very happy, because the girl chose to go back with him.

"Why would you prefer me? Megan says you've been betrayed into The Drugs. This isn't one of your strategies with them, is it?" Ryan wants answers.

Ruby rounded her eyes when she heard Megan had told Ryan a lie. His anger is growing. Ruby promises not to let Megan and Sarah treat her arbitrarily again.

"Of course not! Don't listen to Megan. You know, he hates me so much." Ruby tried to convince Ryan. His hand held onto Ryan's fingers. Waving a twinkle of sincerity out of his eyes. Caused Ryan to smile, and immediately believed him.

"All right, I trust you." Ryan returned Ruby's grasp. He turned his eyes forward. "Actually the reason I put you on a mission is so that you, Megan and Sarah can work together. I thought you guys would get along, but it turns out.." she added, shaking her head.

Ruby grunted rudely. He smiled thinly. "I have tried to do good to them, and things have not gone well. But I will try" he assured Ryan.

The words spoken from Ruby's mouth were mere lies. He was just trying to take Ryan's heart completely. Ruby has made up her mind to begin pursuing a plan of vengeance against Megan and Sarah. His head now leaned against Ryan's shoulder. He intends to be the best. Until being able to make the other two wives Ryan lost a landslide, and bend the knee to him.

"Ruby, is the one who made your hand like this the chatty guy?" ryan asked, watching Ruby's bruised arm. Ruby then replied with a slow nod.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier? If you know this, I'll beat him up for you" Ryan added. His forehead wiggled.

"It's okay. This is not a big wound anyway. You should care about that wound on your face!" sahut Ruby's. He touched one of the bruises on Ryan's face.
