You Who I Miss

You Who I Miss
He moved

A month has passed. Dicky and I are getting closer. We are always together every day. Go to school with a bike, make schoolwork together. And that night, Dicky called me just to say good-bye to me. It was so beautiful my night talking to Dicky before I went to bed. Even our family is getting closer. But it didn't last long. Dicky's moving house.

Honestly, hearing that news made me very sad. I don't want him to leave. I want to stay with him. I can't imagine Dicky really leaving. What about my day without him. Should I cry and tell my aunt not to move. Even though he just moved house. I can still meet him at school. But school time is very short. Dicky and I were different, too. The break time is only 15 minutes. I can't go back to school anymore either.

2 Days before Dicky moved. Dicky and I were sitting on a swing in his yard. Sad?, obviously I'm sad. A friend I love is moving house. Friends who are always there for me, will leave.

"Dicky." I said.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Don't go." I said.

"I'm not leaving, I'm still here, in the same town, just the house is not here anymore" she said, looking at me who wanted to cry.

"And we can still meet at school" he said again.

"Yes, but I can't play with you anymore" I said. She smiled at me

"Can."

"How."

"I'll play at your house a lot."

"Benar ya, janji." ucapku sambil mengacungkan jari kelingkingku.

"I promise." said Dicky, hooking his little finger against my pinkie.

"To Melyn yuk's house, they must have been waiting for us" he said. I just nodded.

Dicky and I on our bikes went to Melyn's house. There's Anis and Dodit.

The hostility between Dodit and Dicky eventually improved a little. They have made up, even without my presence when they make up. I know from Melyn, she told me that Dodit apologized for his attitude. Dicky forgave him. That's enough to make me happy.

That day we were making a little show for Dicky's farewell. It was just a meal that we took from the back garden of the school.

"At last you came too, this is ready" said Anis.

"You are the one who is dealing with this?." I asked.

"Son, my grandmother." replied Melyn.

"Haha."

"Melyn where can she, she can only eat, especially Anis" said Dodit.

"Haha."

"My grandmother asked, this mango comes from where, yes I replied, buy joint nek." said Melyn.

"If we take it in the back garden of the school" said Anis.

"Haha."

"Emang gini nih, there is nothing really" said Dodit.

"Huh, I think he really is." said Anis.

"Haha."

After the dinner, the rujak is finished. We all bike together. I'm not excited at all. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. But I enjoyed every moment with Dicky before he actually moved on.

Tomorrow. At school, I sat alone in the back garden of the school. The school has begun to be quiet, left behind by students who have gone home. Melyn was taking me home together, but I told her to go home first. I still want to be here waiting for Dad to pick me up.

I leaned my head against the chair while looking at the mango tree from which Dicky and I met. I smile. Shortly afterwards, the voice of the one who called out to me. The sound was no stranger to me. I looked and it was Dicky.

"Why is he still here?" he asked.

"Wait for me to pick you up." I replied.

"I'm with ya." he said. I'm nodding.

"What's wrong?, you look sad" he said. I'm silent.

"You're sick" he said, checking my forehead temperature.

"No." I said.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"Cuman tired." I replied.

"You why are still here, instead of you want to be ready to move house" I said.

"I want to stay here, keep you company until your father comes" he said without looking at me.

"Later you're left, I don't pa-pa here" I said.

"Son, I want to be here" he said.

"Go there, let me be here, just let me come" I said.

"NGGAK" he said a little snapping at me. I'm speechless. And slowly I started crying looking at her.

"Rissa" he said as he approached me. I immediately hugged him while crying.

"Can you not go" I said.

"I'll see you often at school, I'll come early in the morning to see you, during the break, I'll go to the cafeteria and eat with you, go home from school, I'll take you home." said it. I chuckled while crying, hugging her tightly.

"Have, don't cry anymore, your face will be ugly, it's a pity if you become ugly" he said trying to comfort me while wiping my tears. I laughed and stopped crying.

"We wait in the front post, here we do not know your father has come or not" he said. I smiled and nodded my head.

Holding hands, Dicky and I walked towards the school post. When I got there, I arrived. I stood beside the car smiling and looking at me.

"Dad." I said. I ran to my father and hugged him.

"Uh, my dear daughter" said Dad, holding me for a while and then lowering me. I'm sure Dad's waist hurt back then, because I was growing and getting heavier to carry.

"Son, you're crying." said Dad, stroking my cheek. I'm speechless.

"This must be because I picked you up a long time ago, you must be scared waiting for me here, sorry dear." said Dad.

"No Dad, there's Dicky with me." I said with a smile.

"Thank you Dicky, you're with Rissa" said Dad smiling as he looked at Dicky standing next to me.

"Sama-sama" he said.

"Let's go home, Dicky you come too." said Dad.

"Sorry, Dicky's got a bike" he said.

"Oh yeah, you're careful on the road."

"Yes, um."

"I'll wait at home" I said before getting in the car. Dicky smiled.

"Daah." I said.

"Well" he said. I smiled and got in the car.

At home, I helped mom make a cake. The cake we wanted to give to Dicky and the family, as their provisions on the road. Although I was busy helping my mother, but my thoughts and feelings were still the same.

When mom asked me to get a tray of cookies next to me, I just didn't hear it. I daydream sometimes and it makes my mother anxious about my health.

The afternoon, about half-time five in the afternoon. Dicky and the family stopped by the house to say goodbye to us.

"Would you leave?" asked Dad.

"Yes." replied Dicky's father.

"This." said Mother while giving a basket filled with cake.

"What is this?." asked Dicky's mother.

"Get off on the road." said Mom with a smile.

"Oh, so suck." said Dicky's mother.

"No jeng" said Mother.

"We say yes, sorry if there are words that are less wearing" Dicky's father said as he shook hands with my father.

"Yes together, we're sorry too" said Dad. My mother and Dicky's mother hugged. I can only smile watching them.

"Ris." call Dicky.

"Yes." I replied.

"I'll say yes, see you at school" he said with a smile.

"Yes" I said, holding back tears.

"Don't cry" he whispered. I'm nodding.

"Often play here." said Mother.

"God willing." said Dicky's mother.

"Dicky, come on." said Dicky's mother.

"Dicky said yes, auntie" Dicky said, kissing the hands of my mother and father.

"Main-play here yeah, accompany Rissa." said Dad.

"Yes" he said while looking at me.

I smiled at my tears that were about to fall. Dicky who saw me, shook his head, gave me a code not to cry. As much as I can bear, so as not to cry. Don't forget I kissed Dicky's Mom and Dad's hands, too.

"Tante must have missed Rissa" said Dicky's mother, holding me tight. I just smiled at her.

"We're leaving." Dicky's dad said.

"Yes, be careful on the road." said Dad.

"Assalamualaik."

"Getishalam."

Remembering her today, maybe I could smile and even laugh, but that was my day, the day I felt sad.
