You Who I Miss

You Who I Miss
To Dicky's new house

Next day. I'm getting ready to go to school. Don't forget I put on the hairpin Dicky gave me. I came to school early. I want to meet Dicky and thank him. But when I got to her class, I didn't see her. I looked everywhere, in the office, in the field, and at the back of the school. I even asked her friends, but I still didn't find her.

With sadness and disappointment, I walked slowly to my class. Maybe he doesn't want to see me again because of yesterday. I just sighed thinking about that. On the way to my class, I saw Nabila. I had to ask him.

"Bil, have you seen Dicky?."

"No."

"When you meet Dicky, say yes I'm looking for him."

"Yes." Yeah."

I went and went to class. In the classroom, Melyn is busy working on her PR.

"Ris, where are you from, that's a warning" Melyn said.

"Exercise." I said while sitting in my place.

"Exercise?" said Melyn astonished.

"Ris, look at PR dong, I forgot to play." he said again.

"Hm, forget it, nih." I said give my PR book.

"Thank you, Rissa is beautiful." said Melyn very sweetly. I smiled at a glance.

"Why are you?" asked Melyn.

"I was looking for him, but he wasn't there" I said.

"Who?." asked Melyn. I shut up and put my head on the table with my hands as a pillow.

"Dicky?" said Melyn again.

"Hm."

"Maybe he's on the street, or he's not in today" Melyn said. I just kept listening to Melyn.

During the break, I chose to sit alone in the classroom. I'm not in the mood to go to the cafeteria. I put my head on the table with my hand as a pillow. Someone came calling me. I know that voice. That's the voice of the man I'm looking for.

"Rissy."

I wake up and see that guy. That's right it's Dicky. He stood in front of me.

"Where are you, I'm looking for you" I said annoyed. She smiles.

"I woke up late, I was almost late for school" he said. I silently looked at him with annoyance.

"Why you're here, I'm expecting you to be in the canteen, why don't you get together with the others."

"Males."

"The hairpin fits you well."

"Still her hairpin." I said. He smiled nodding.

"Have you eaten?." I asked.

"Not yet, let's go to the cafeteria" he said.

"Here you go, I bring provisions, let's sit here" I said.

"What's the matter." he said as he sat next to me.

"Brown sandwich, you want?" I said as I opened my lunch box. He nodded and took the bread.

"Enak?." I asked.

"Enak." she replied while chewing.

I smile. Suddenly I remembered the math lesson I had in my class.

"Oh yes, you have not learned this one, I do not understand" I said as I opened the material page.

"Oh this one, here I teach" he said.

Dicky besides being handsome he is also good at math. No wonder girls at this school also like him and including me.

When I got home from school, Melyn, Anis and Dodit were ready to go home together. Dicky on his bike approached us.

"Ris came home with me." said Dicky.

"Huh." I said.

"Your house is not in the same direction as Rissa" said Dodit.

"Yes you know, but I want to take Rissa home" Dicky said.

"Well, Dicky's with Rissa, let's go home" said Melyn.

"We go first." said Melyn.

"Yes." I said bad.

"Come on." said Melyn smiling as she pulled the hands of Anis and Dodit.

"Come, shall we go home?" he said.

"Dicky, I want to play in your house" I said.

"But, you have not permission from your father, you will be sought" he said.

I fell silent, what Dicky said was true. I haven't asked Mom and Dad for permission. Then I saw Dicky pull his phone out of the bag and it was like he was calling someone.

"Assalamualaikum om, this is Dicky, Dicky wants to invite Rissa to play at home can not om." he said.

I'm getting a little closer to Dicky. I want to know what Dad said. But I can't hear it. I don't know what Dad said. From Dicky's look, I'm sure, I wasn't allowed by Dad.

"Yes, um."

"Yes, um."

"Assalamualaik."

"How?." I asked after Dicky hung up. He was silent and did not answer me.

"No, yes, yes you've come home" I said disappointed.

"Maybe, your father will pick you up" he said.

"really." I said. Dicky nodded.

"Yeaahh." my joyful cheer.

"Come." he said.

Without wasting time. I immediately got on Dicky's bike, as usual I was sitting in front of him. The first time I sat in front of me I felt uncomfortable, unwell, ashamed. But now I feel comfortable, happy. If I could just want to be like this forever, just be with him.

"A minute we are in 6th grade, keep going in smp, you want to go into which smp?" I asked.

"Hem, don't know yet, why?" he said.

"I want to get into the smp that has you, let us both continue." I said.

"Haha."

"Kok laughing, you don't want to." I said.

"You" he said.

"Keep why laugh." I said as I turned my head back to look at him.

"Don't move Ris, later we fall, and I get angry" he said.

"So you're afraid to get angry."

"No, if I get angry I'm wrong."

"So." So."

"Yes, I'm afraid you're still crying, there's no balloon here."

"Haha."

About 15 minutes into Dicky's new home. Dicky's house was very nice and bigger than Dicky's previous house.

"Let's go in" he said. I'm nodding.

"Mom! something's missing." cried Dicky as he put his bag on the sofa.

"Haha."

"Sit down first" he said. I smile.

"Wait a minute" he said. I'm nodding. Then Dicky left.

In the guest room, I sat in a daze, observing the contents of the room. There are some neatly arranged photos on the table and on the wall of the living room.

Soon after, Aunt Yanti arrived.

"Rissa." call Dicky's mother while walking into the living room.

"Mother" I said as I stood up from my seat.

He's coming near me. I hugged him right away.

"Rissa kangen ma'am." I said in her arms.

"Mom misses Rissa" said Dicky's mother, letting go of her arms. Both of his hands touched my cheeks and kissed my cheeks. I smiled at Dicky's mother with pleasure.

"Rissa has eaten?" asked Dicky's mother.

"Not yet." I said.

"Dicky's dad's coming home soon, we're having lunch together" she said. I'm nodding.

"But, Rissa changed her clothes first" Dicky's mother said.

"Rissa didn't bring a copy of ma'am's shirt" I said.

"Some, come with me." said Dicky's mother holding my hand to a room.

"Mom look for clothes for Rissa" said Mother while opening the wardrobe looking for something in it.

"It's not wrong for me to keep Tarisa's clothes here" Dicky's mother said.

Tarisa is Dicky's older sister who is studying in Bandung.

"This is it" said Mother while showing a knee-length white dress with purple flower accents. I really like that dress. Dress nice.

"Rissa likes it?" asked Dicky's mother. I'm nodding.

"Now I have Rissa."

"That's really mom."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Thank you ma'am."

"Mommy help you change clothes."

"Yes." Yeah."

After changing clothes, Dicky's mother and I went to the kitchen. There is already a Titin bik who is cooking vegetable lodeh.

"Ehh, there's non-Rissa" Bik Titin said as he looked at me. I smiled at him.

"Who is non-Rissa here with?" asked Bik Titin.

"Who's the morning of his girlfriend, Dicky." Dicky's mother. Bik Titin laughs.

"Hehehe." I said.

Suddenly outside the sound of a car entering the yard.

"That must have been home" Dicky's mother said.

Then Dicky's mother went to see Dicky's father. And I followed Dicky's mother.

"Mom, the food is ready, I'm really hungry" Dicky's father said, giving Dicky's briefcase.

"It's ready" said Dicky's mother.

"Eh Rissa" Dicky's father said in surprise when he saw me. I smiled and kissed her hand.

"Who is Rissa here?" asked Dicky's father.

"Your son." said Dicky's mother.

"Dicky?" said Dicky's father, looking at me.

"Yes, Rissa is here with Dicky" I said

Dicky's father squatted parallel to me. He stroked my head. Both of his hands were on my shoulders.

"Would you give me permission from Rissa's mother's father?." Dicky's father asked me.

"Even." I said.

"So stop by Rissa's house first" Dicky's father said.

"No, Dicky brought a cell phone to school, and he kept calling me" I said.

"She's taking her cell phone back to school" Dicky's father said, staring at Dicky's mother.

It seems Om Rahmad is angry. I shouldn't have told you that Dicky brought a cell phone to school.

"Udah justin first yeah, we'll talk to him later" said Dicky's mother.

"Dad, don't get angry with Dicky." I said slowly.

Dicky's dad just smiled and stroked my hair.

"Have come to eat, he said hungry" said Dicky's mother.

"Rissa's hungry?" asked Dicky's father. I'm nodding.

"Let's eat" he said.

Me, Dad and Mom went to the place where the food had been served by bi Wati in the dining room. I'm sitting next to Dad, in front of Mom.

"Dicky, let's eat baby." Dicky's mother shouted as she sat down.

"Yes." he shouted from the room.

Then Dicky came and joined us. He sat next to Mom.

"Dicky, I'm gonna ask you a question" Dicky's dad said.

"Ask what?" replied Dicky.

"You brought another cell phone to school?" asked Dad. Dicky looked at me for a second.

"Yes." replied Dicky.

"After eating, I want to talk to you" said Dad.

"Yes, father." said Dicky.

I kept quiet, not knowing what to do, other than to chew my food.

After eating, Dicky's mother and I sat in the living room, opening a large cardboard box with Tarisa's toy as a child while chatting funny things. Although I was with Dicky's mother, my thoughts went to Dicky, who was being introverted by Dad in his room. I don't know what they're talking about but I'm worried, because I'm Dicky in trouble.

Then, a few minutes later, Dicky and his father came to join us. But Dicky looks ordinary. It seems he was not scolded. Dad, too, looked relaxed sitting while reading the newspaper this morning.

I hope what I think is true. Dicky was not upset by his father.

I looked at him with a smile. Dicky returned my smile as he always did. I moved my mouth to speak to him without making a sound: You get angry, I said. He shook his head.

I'm relieved. He's not angry. And that's enough to make me happy.
