You Who I Miss

This love

It was about three in the afternoon. Dicky took me to a city park after he drove me home, to change clothes and ask permission from my dad on his cell phone. Dicky had also changed his clothes in the car.

There, Dicky and I walked side by side through the park. There was no conversation between us. There was silence and the sound of the wind blowing. Until the moment my hand was suddenly grasped by Dicky. I was shocked, spontaneously stopping my steps. Dicky looked at me in confusion.

"Why?" he asked. I'm silent.

"Capek ya." he said again.

"Sit down if we're tired, let's sit there" he said. He took me and led me to sit in the garden chair. He also sat next to me.

"It feels weird" he said.

"I'm awkward" he said again with a small laugh. I just kept quiet with a smile.

"We start all over again" he said.

"Author acquaintance?" I said.

"Yes" he said.

"Haha."

Dicky then extended his hand to me.

"Dicky" he said. I smiled and welcomed the hand.

"Rissa." I said. Dicky and I smiled at each other without letting go of our hands.

"What's next" he said.

"Hem." I said while thinking.

"Don't think of climbing a mango tree" he said.

"Later you can not go down again" he said again with a laugh.

"Haha."

"Son, I can't even climb right now" I said.

"Hem, we think of something else" he said.

"Chocolate." I said.

"Chocolate?" he said confusedly.

"Yes, you gave me chocolate that day" I said, trying to remember.

"Oh yes, but here no one sells chocolate, we change it" he said, looking around.

"You want some ice cream?" she asked me. I smiled while nodding my head.

"You." I said.

"The taste of chocolate or strawberry" he said.

"Strawberry." I said.

"Ok, wait here I buy first" he said. I'm nodding.

Dicky went to get ice cream. Before Dicky left, he came back with a strawberry-flavored ice cream.

"This" he said, giving me the ice cream.

"Thank you." I said. He sat down next to me.

"Where are you?." I asked.

"Udah is over" he said. I looked at him confused.

"Well, we're both alone" I said as I thrust the ice cream into Dicky's mouth. However, he was silent.

"This." I said.

"A little, I buy it for you, when I eat" he said. I smile.

"It's not pa-pa, aak." I said.

Dicky ended up eating the ice cream even if it was just a little, it was enough to make me happy. After I finish the ice cream. I saw the kids playing bicycles. Suddenly I remembered my wonderful childhood with Dicky and friends. I wanted to ride my bike again and feel the same way. Unfortunately, I don't have a bike in Chicago. There I had a little bike when I was in SD, it's not possible for me to use it anymore, I'm a big one now.

"I want to ride a bike" I said to no one.

"You want to ride a bike" Dicky said.

"Yes, but I don't have a bike" I said.

"We rent it" he said.

"The one is there." I said.

"You?." he asked.

"Yes, I want ky." I said excitedly.

Dicky took me to that bike rental. We rented a tandem bike and used the bike to surround the park. I'm so happy, really. It was great to be on a bike with Dicky. The awkwardness between us just vanished. Even this love increases for him. And I'm back stuck to our happy past.

"You like ris." she said a little screamed.

"Like" I said, shouting.

"Haha."

Dicky and I cycled around the park for a long time. I don't know what time it was. I forgot about the time I did something fun. I even forgot about myself who shouldn't be exhausted. But, my body does not feel tired, but happy that I feel. Suddenly, Dicky stopped riding his bike. I wonder why Dicky quit. A moment later, Dicky's wobbly body wants to fall off the bike. I held the bike and rushed to him.

"Ky, what's wrong with you?." I asked.

"No pa-pa" he replied quietly with a faint smile.

I saw his face was very pale, far from the face I had seen before. He also looked weak. I was worried and confused at once. Dicky's sick, but he was fine. Maybe Dicky has anemia just like me.

"You're tired yeah, rest first, let's sit down first" I said.

I helped Dicky to sit on the sidewalk under the tree, so Dicky would feel cool and well.

"You are sick." I said. She smiled with her lips looking at me.

"Just aja ris soybeans, I rest awhile I'm better" he said.

"But your face is pale, have you eaten?" I said. He smiled while shaking his head.

"I'm looking for food first yes, all behind the bike." I said.

"Do not worry, I will." he said.

"I'm aja ky, you wait here yeah, rest first." I said.

Dicky was silent. I smiled and immediately went to return the bike and find food for Dicky.

I don't know what to buy for Dicky. There are not many people selling in the park. They also sell lots of toys and children's snacks. Finally all I could buy for Dicky was two sandwiches and mineral water. Then I went back to Dicky.

I saw Dicky leaning against a tree with his eyes closed. I'm worried, did Dicky faint?. I immediately ran to him.

"Dicky." call me while holding her shoulder.

"Yes." replied Dicky quietly. Slowly he opened his eyes to look at me.

"You have come" he said.

"Yes, I thought you fainted" I said. Dicky smile.

"No ris, I'm just sleeping" he said. I let out a breath.

"Let's eat, I'll buy you bread" I said.

There was no answer from him, there I saw his facial expression that I could hardly understand. Either he likes me to buy bread or he doesn't. But, I bought him his favorite sandwich as a kid.

Dicky ate only a little of that bread, not half. I don't want to force her if she doesn't want to eat that. I proposed him to rest in the car and Dicky agreed. I helped him get to the car.

In the car, Dicky leans with his eyes locked. I saw his face getting pale. I'm anxious. Dicky's body was sweating while the car ac was alive.

"Ky, we're going to the clinic." I said.

"I don't pa-pa ris, we go home, yes, I anterin you go home" he said while waking up.

"You sure can drive, you're sick" I said.

"Can" he said.

"Don't take me far, far away, to your house just close from here, later I ask to pick up with my father" I said.

"Yes" he said.

Dicky started the car. Slowly he drove his car home. I was sorry to see Dicky, with his condition like that he braced himself to be able to control the car so that we both survived to get home.
