Please Dicky, don't do this! I'm getting harder between you and Iqbal!
I pushed Dicky a little bit, away from me. Dicky let go of his embrace.
"Sorry ris." said Dicky not good with me.
"No pa-pa" I said.
Dicky picked up a small box in his desk drawer. He gave the box to me.
"Make you" he said. Then I opened it, it contained a chain bracelet with the initials R. Real pretty.
"I've kept that from us little, the mother who bought it for you, I wanted to give it to you on your birthday, but it turns out you don't feel it here, when you want to leave, when you want to leave, I'm late, I can't give it to you" he said. I'll shut up for a second.
"The door is good, put this on" I said to Dicky. Dicky smiles.
Dicky silently watched the two bracelets that were coiled in two of my arms. I just realized. I wear two bracelets on my right and left hand. And you know, it's all from Iqbal.
"Where?." asked Dicky confusedly.
I shut up for a second, then I took off one bracelet from Iqbal. I was forced to open Iqbal's first gift bracelet for me when I was a kid.
"This is it." I said. Dicky then put the bracelet in my hand.
"That's great, I like it." I said. Dicky smile.
"Can help put this up too" I said. Dicky nodded.
"These rusts are ris, why they're still in use." asked Dicky while putting the bracelet in the other hand.
"It's from a little Iqbal, my birthday present" I said.
"It turns out I was late" Dicky said. I'm silent.
I understand what that means. Dicky felt he was late for everything about me, including giving me gifts.
"Yes, he said he wanted to go home, come on." said Dicky as he picked up his car keys on the desk.
"Ky, I want to take a walk for a while" I said. Dicky smile.
"Where are you going?" asked Dicky.
"Around here, I see near here there's a children's playground, we go back there" I said. Dicky nodded.
"Come." he said.
With Dicky, I went to the children's playground near his house on foot, because it was not too far away. Dicky and I walked slowly to enjoy the breeze that touched our hair gently. Dicky's hand slowly grabbed my hand.
I want to keep my hand. But I can't lie to myself. My hands and Dicky's hands clasped tightly together, walking through the quiet park in the middle of the day.
That day the weather was pretty blistering, didn't make me lose my feelings for Dicky. This is my chance and Dicky's spending time together before I go home to grandma's. And I can no longer meet him.
This is all I wanted to do when I went to Jakarta. Meet Dicky back. Spending time like before, even if it's just for a little while.
"You want to be small again" said Dicky. I looked at him with a smile.
"You." I said.
"You take care" I said, patting Dicky on the shoulder. Dicky was silent to see me. Then I ran while laughing.
"You cheated" said Dicky, chasing me.
I kept running away from Dicky laughing. I feel like I'm going back in time. Feeling like the little Rissa I used to be, I even saw Dicky, as little Dicky. Dicky and I did everything we did when we were kids. The game we played together often.
Dicky pushed the slow swing I was riding. I laughed happily. So very happy, until I forget my health condition is not the same as before. I fell down, lying on the grass.
"RISSA."
With a blurred look, I saw two people running towards me. I thought it was just my illusion because my head felt dizzy. However, I was wrong.they did have two, it was Iqbal and Dicky.
"Rissa" said Iqbal, raising my body to sit down.
"Iqbal." I said slowly.
"Why are you?, huh!" asked Iqbal anxiously. I was silent, adjusting my breath that felt engrossed.
"Rissa, you're not pa-pa, are you?" asked Dicky.
"What is not pa-pa, you see, rissa lemes" said Iqbal ketus. Dicky quiet.
"I'm not pa-pa." I said slowly.
Iqbal hugged me, rubbing the sweat that soaked my forehead.
"It's hot" said Iqbal. He lifted my body and took me to the car he was carrying.
I'm in the seat in the middle of the car. Iqbal started the car engine and turned on the car ac. Then he approached me. He wiped my sweat with a tissue.
"Why did you bring your father's office car, you didn't work." I asked slowly to Iqbal.
"Dad came home earlier, so I pinjem to pick you up." said Iqbal.
"Well, is it?" asked Iqbal. I'm nodding.
Iqbal took it from Dicky, then gave it to me. I drank it a few gulps.
"Rissa so kayak gini, because you, instead of taking Rissa home, instead you take rissa to play running around." Iqbal grumbled.
"Originally you know, Rissa, not the same as before, the situation is different, and you have to accept that you can't take care of Rissa" said Iqbal. Dicky just kept quiet.
"Udah bal, don't get angry Dicky, I'm wrong" I said limp. Iqbal welds his breath.
"Have you eaten?" asked Iqbal. I shook my head.
"We eat first, and then we go home" said Iqbal.
"Dicky's coming with us, isn't he, bal." I said. Iqbal thought silently. Then he nodded his head.
"You sit in the front, rissa in the middle, let her lie down" Iqbal told Dicky. Dicky also said.
Dicky sat in front, next to Iqbal who was driving.
"You know where we're from there." Dicky asked Iqbal.
"Tau from your mother." ketus Iqbal.
"You went home?" asked Dicky. Iqbal nodded.
"Pick up Rissa, you'll take her away." said Iqbal.
Along the way, I only listened to the babbles that confused me from them, sometimes speaking in an ordinary tone, sometimes in a high tone. I didn't know they were fighting or just talking. I just want Dicky and Iqbal to be friends.
We stopped by one of the eating places on the side of the road. There sell soto betawi and other typical jakarta food. Iqbal and I ordered soto betawi, while Dicky ordered a special meal he requested himself.
"You can eat by yourself?" Iqbal asked me.
"Can Iqbal." I said.
"How's jakarta food?" asked Dicky.
"Lumayan, good as well." replied Iqbal.
"You eat what ky, it's like good, I can try." I said. Dicky smile.
"Nice, no taste" said Dicky. I still feel sorry for him.
"But it's healthy for you" said Iqbal. Dicky smiled faintly at Iqbal.
"You're right" Dicky said.
"Let's eat, then we go home" said Iqbal.
"I want to go for a ballet walk" I said.
"Street again, but you've just done it, you'll limp again" said Iqbal.
"I want to go for a ballet, three of them use the car" I said.
"Yes, ris, we will go for a walk, now quickly spend your sotomu." said Dicky. I nodded with a smile. While Iqbal sighed harshly.
After that, Iqbal and Dicky took a walk to enjoy the view of Jakarta by car. The three of us were chatting, joking. Sometimes we stop to buy food and do something fun like kite.
I sat quietly on the ground watching Iqbal and Dicky play kite. They are getting familiar now. I'm glad they're finally friends. But I don't know what they think or feel. I just hope that they have forgotten their problems and I will try to control my feelings between them.
It doesn't feel like it's almost dark. We'll be home soon too.
Before we got home, we drove Dicky home first.
"Thank you for the tour today" Iqbal said in the car. Dicky laughed.
"Thank you, too, for inviting me to join you" Dicky said.
"We go home, sorry we didn't stop by" Iqbal said.
"It's not pa-pa" Dicky said.
"Greetings to Yanti's mother." I said from the car. Dicky nodded.
"Madam Rissa, you want to stay behind what moves forward?" Iqbal asked me.
"Haha."
"After the back, sir, can fall asleep" I said.
"Haha."
"First." said Iqbal.
"Bah Dicky." I said as I waved my hand. Dicky smile.
"Daahh" he said. Then I and Iqbal left.
