Backup Man

Giselle stared at the rain that was falling violently in the darkness of the night. 'The weather at night lately is really bad, just like my heart.' murmured Giselle while smiling wryly.

'Oh, my God, why do I feel like this? No Giselle, no, I must not love Revan because he is a cruel man, I can live to suffer if I continue with him.

"Have you had dinner?" a voice whispered in Giselle's ear.

"Re.. Revan, why are you here?"

"This is my apartment, what's wrong with me here?"

"Ta.. But what about Stella? Who's waiting for him in the hospital?"

"She was asleep and was accompanied by Ms. Cici, her domestic assistant. The doctor has also given her a sedative so I can go home, tonight I want to sleep in my soft bed."

"Oh."

"Why just oh, you haven't answered my question, you've had dinner or not."

"Not yet." replied Giselle while shaking her head.

"Why are you being quiet like this? Did something happen to you? You remember Leo again?"

"No, I've never thought of Leo again."

"Then why are you silent? Are you jealous of Stella?" revan said grimacingly.

"Just boy, who are you? Why am I jealous of you two? Really wasting time."

"See your behavior like that? You're obviously jealous."

"Whatever" said Giselle then walked away from Revan.

"Eh where are you going? You have to accompany me to dinner, I want to have dinner with you." said Revan, drawing Giselle's hand.

"Suddenly the door of the apartment was knocked on by someone."

"Open Giselle's door" said Revan as he walked towards the dining table.

Giselle opened the door, and went back in with a few bags of crackles in her hand.

"You ordered all this Revan?"

"Of course, didn't I tell you I wanted to have dinner with you. Let's eat."

Finally they had dinner together, occasionally interspersed with a little joke from Revan that made Giselle smile. "Can you smile, Giselle? So you're pouting from hunger?" ledek Revan while walking into the bathroom.

"Basic, man sucks." grumbled Giselle while holding such a happy feeling in her heart. He cleaned the dining table, then went into the room.

When Giselle had just closed her eyes, suddenly Revan had dropped her body on the bed which made Giselle shocked.

"Slow Revan, you surprised me." Giselle grumbled, turning her back to Revan.

"I'm tired of Giselle, I don't want to argue with you" Revan said, hugging Giselle from behind.

'What the fuck? Why is she sleeping while hugging me.' muttered Giselle while putting away Revan's hand.

"Giselle, I can't hold you, you're my wife" Revan said with his eyes closed. Giselle finally chose silence, a moment later she then heard a soft snore from Revan's lips. Giselle smiled, then turned her body and looked at Revan who was now sleeping so soundly in front of her.

'This is much better, you better shut up to look good.' muttered Giselle with a smile and then put her body closer into Revan's arms deeper.

"Non Stella is awake?" asked Bi Cici who started to open her eyes.

"Where is Revan Bi?"

"Oh Mr. Revan has been home since Non Stella slept last night."

'Damn why Revan left me here.' murmured Stella. He then picks up his phone and calls Revan. 'Unactive.' muttered Stella with such an irritated feeling.

"You feel good about Giselle" Revan said as she enjoyed her breakfast.

"You don't have to be ashamed to say that my cooking is delicious, Revan."

"Too confident." grumbled Revan as he turned on his phone. Dozens of chats had entered Revan's phone, but he ignored it and then enjoyed breakfast again until finally his phone rang.

"Yes Stella, I'm sorry I'm busy working in the office today, isn't there a Bi Cici accompanying you? I'll be in the hospital later this afternoon" Revan said, then hung up. Giselle smiled at Revan's attitude towards Stella this morning.

"Why don't you accompany her? Don't you love her so much?"

"For what? It's not like I told you that I always try to forget Stella."

"But he's alone and needs you."

"Not to be discussed, Giselle I'm off to the office first, I have a lot of work to do."

"Yes." replied Giselle while nodding, then Revan got up from his seat then kissed Giselle's forehead before exiting the apartment.

'It turns out you can be sweet Revan.' muttered Giselle with a smile, her heart is now busy controlling her happy feelings.

Revan opens the door to Stella's room in the hospital and sees Stella sitting pensively on the bed. Revan then approached and sat down beside Stella's bed while playing his phone. "Why did you just come Revan? I've been waiting for you ever since." said Stella because Revan was just sitting next to her while continuing to play the phone without regard to her circumstances.

"Don't I tell you if I can only come in the afternoon, I have a lot of office business to do because I was busy taking care of you yesterday."

"But I need you? Why did you change me a little Revan?"

"I haven't changed, isn't this the kind of husband-wife relationship we have? This is what you always tell me! Why are you suddenly demanding more than that?"

"But you promised not to leave me."

"When did I leave you? I've always been by your side, even when the man you love so much leaves you I'll stay by your side, if I leave you I'll divorce you Stella!"

"Why did you change Revan? You're not usually this rude to me? Is it because I'm pregnant with another boy so you're acting like this? Am I not your wife? You're my husband who should always be by my side."

"Your husband Stella? You just thought of me as your husband after your lover left you, didn't you? Where have you been all this time? You've always treated me like a backup man, it's good I don't divorce a woman like you!" revan said then walked towards the door.

"Revann.. Revann... Where are you going? Don't leave me, don't go Revan! What if I need something?" shouting Stella.

"Aren't there any Bi Cici accompanying you? Come in Bi" Revan told Bi Cici who was waiting outside.

"YOUR ASSHOLES ARE THE SAME!" stella's curse while shouting. Suddenly Stella heard the sound of a cell phone ringing. Stella then looked at her bedside nightstand.

"Revan's phone was left behind" Stella said as she picked up the phone.

'Giselle? Who is Giselle?' stella mutters when she sees a name on Revan's phone.
