Lying Feelings

Firman smiled then returned his embrace to Vallen while stroking her hair.

"You don't have to worry, one day I'll see you back. I must miss a strange girl like you who always makes me smile when I'm with you."

Hearing the words of the Word, Vallen took off his embrace after they hugged him long enough, he then smiled.

"Hold your promise, arrogant man." replied Vallen, who made the Word laugh.

"Yes, I promise. Now go home, I'm afraid your brother is worried about you."

Vallen nodded with a smile.

"I'll go home first, see you next time."

"Yes Miss Vallen."

"Can you not call me Miss?"

The word is smiling too.

"Good Vallen."

"That's much better. I'll go home first."

"Yes." Yeah."

Vallen then walked away from the Word. But only a few steps suddenly the Word called him.

"Vallen."

"Yes." replied Vallen while turning her body.

"Be careful."

Vallen nodded with a smile, suddenly his chest felt so tight. He then turned his body again but the Word had already walked away from him.

'Goodbye Word, I will wait when you come to see me again.' muttered Vallen while shedding tears.

While Firman walked towards Zidan's mess with great diversity, his feelings were so erratic, it felt like something was so stuck in his heart when he saw Vallen leave.

'Why did I suddenly become like this?' muttered the Word while continuing to walk.

When he was about to enter the resort, Vallen was seen David and Stella who were putting their belongings into the car. Vallen then rushed over to them.

"Have you also cleaned up my things?" vallen asked Stella, who had just closed the trunk of the car. David walked forward to heat the car first.

"Of course, sweet boy, I've packed your things into a suitcase" Stella said, pinching Vallen's cheek.

"Thank you hahahaha, you are indeed my best sister-in-law" said Vallen then hugged Stella.

Stella looked at Vallen's face.

"Vallen, why are my hands sticky when I hold your face? Have you been crying?" stella asked as she continued to look at Vallen's face.

"Owh.. E.. O, no. I was just a little sleepy so there were tears dripping down my face."

Stella then smiled.

"You don't have to lie, did you meet someone here who made you fall in love with him?"

"Oh.. It's impossible, I just broke Stella's heart, I can't be that fast in love with someone."

Stella smiled too.

"No need to pretend, I know you're in love" Stella said in a sneer that made Vallen blush.

"Hi, why are you guys standing there so long. Come on in!!" shouted David.

"Let's go in Stella's sister, the tiger is roaring" Vallen said, chuckling.

Then they get in the car. Vallen then sat in the back seat of the car enjoying the view along the way, occasionally smiling as he hugged himself given the warmth of the embrace with Word before they parted.

"David look, it looks like your sister is in love" Stella whispered to David.

"really?"

"Yes. Just look at yourself."

David then turned his face for a while while their car was stopped at a traffic light intersection, and saw Vallen who was smiling while hugging his own body.

"Did she really fall in love with Stella? He's so weird, I think he's crazy."

"David!!! He's your brother!!" stella snapped while whispering which made Vallen surprised.

"What's wrong?" ask Vallen.

"It's okay, I just saw a lunatic" David replied with a chuckle.

Firman opened the mess door and saw Zidan who was already inside the mess.

Zidan nodded.

"Where have you been? Did you just date that girl?"

"I just went with him for a while. It's not a date because I don't have any feelings for her."

"You must not lie to your own feelings, Word. You're getting interested in him, aren't you?"

Firman then shook his head.

"No, I'm gonna try to keep that from happening."

"Why indeed? Isn't she pretty?"

"Don't I tell you, we're different Zidan. Our differences are too far apart, like heaven and earth."

"Why are you saying that?"

"That's the truth, he just got back to Indonesia."

"You mean he used to live abroad?"

"Yes, he just finished his specialist program in London."

"Wow, so he's a doctor? You're really lucky to meet a woman like her. She's very pretty and smart. Especially if you're lovers, you're the luckiest man I've ever known."

"But unfortunately it will never happen, Zidan. I will never have any relationship with him except friendship. He deserves a better man than me."

"But why? You don't be so humble, Word. You're smart, too, you were the best graduate when we went to college."

"Yes but only studied at ordinary State University, while he studied at one of the best Universities in the world. He also comes from a fairly well-to-do family, unlike me."

"But the Word, love knows none of that. Love comes from the deepest heart that cannot be measured by matter. Don't you also know that love knows no logic?"

"It's Zidan, don't talk about it anymore. What about the job you're offering?"

"Oh yes about the job. Emh.. Actually the work is not here Word. The owner of this resort is in need of a new accountant because it is opening a business expansion and the plan is that you will be stationed there, tomorrow you will interview with the HRD. Just a formality because I've already told you about your ability as one of the best accountants at our University."

"Hahahaha, you're all there. Where will I be placed? Is it around this area?"

"Oh.. E.. No Word, you'll be stationed in Jakarta."

"God" said Firman while rubbing his face rough.

He and Stella rushed down from the car, but when they got down, it appeared that Vallen was still sitting in the car. David then opened the car door.

"Your!!! What are you doing inside? We have arrived!!!" shouted David.

"Yes yes Kak, for a moment." grumbled Vallen then got down from the car while carrying his belongings.

"Stella, I think he's really crazy" David said, chuckling.

"David!!" snapped Stella.

Vallen walked open the door so limp, but suddenly his net was fixed with a figure who was now sitting in the living room together with his mother.

"Mama.." said Vallen.

"Vallen, he wants to see you."

Word seemed so agitated looking at his phone.

"Hasn't it been three hours since he left the resort? She should have reached her house, why hasn't she called me yet?" word of Word while staring at his cell phone.

Suddenly a voice called to him.

"Firman."

"Oh yes Vallen."

Zidan who heard the answer to the Word laughed out loud.

"You said you didn't want to fall in love with her, but you always remembered her, even when you called my name wrong. Never lie to your own feelings, Word. Haha."

'Gosh, why did I become like this?' muttered the Word in my heart while holding back the shame that Zidan was now laughing at him.
