Unrequited Love

Revan rushed into the house in a hurry. 'Stella, hope you're okay, ' Inner Revan ran to his room. But when in front of the room door, Revan stopped his steps then slightly tidied up his clothes. "I should look normal, lest he know I'm so worried about him." Revan then opened the door. He then went into the room and approached Stella who now seemed to be sleeping on the bed. Revan sat on the edge of the bed watching Stella's face.

"Stella!" call Revan. But Stella still sleeps so soundly.

"Stella." call Revan again, but only a subtle snoring is heard. Revan then smiled as he looked at Stella's face with a heart that felt so sore.

'Sleep Stella, and let me be content looking at your face, I really miss you so much, but I know that whenever you'll never love me, because I can only have your body, not your heart,' revan said inwardly as he continued to stare at Stella.

"Revan, are you home?" stella asked as she started to open her eyes.

"Yes," replied Revan flatly.

"Where is your lover, that you should trouble me?"

"Oh David? He's in Surabaya."

"Oh, so you need me because your boyfriend is gone?"

"Revan, stop. Isn't this the kind of household we live in, I never messed with your life with your women and you also never messed with my personal life with David! You know Papa and Mama are coming home from New York, I don't want them to know our real home life!"

'You never know Stella, I've always been looking for that mercenary because of you, I actually want to get your attention! But it turns out I was wrong, you never cared at all for me, Revan said in his heart.

"If you love your boyfriend so much, why don't we just get Stella divorced? I'm sick of being treated like a backup guy by you!"

"Revan, didn't I tell you many times that Papa has heart disease! I don't want us to get divorced Papa's situation is going to get worse! How are our parents related? Do you want to just destroy their friendship?"

Revan was silent at Stella's words. 'All this would never have been a problem if from the beginning you were willing to open your heart to me Stella, I've even loved you for so long since you haven't understood what love means,' inner Revan while looking intently at Stella.

"Oh.." said Stella as she held her head.

"You why Stella?" revan asked, a look of anxiety clearly visible on his face.

"I'm dizzy Revan, since yesterday afternoon I had a cold and a fever" Stella replied, holding her head.

"You rest Stella, I'll get a doctor for you."

"Thank you." Stella replied briefly then closed her eyes.

"Rest for a little while the doctor will come."

Stella then nodded while keeping her eyes closed. "Revan, can you help me?"

"Help what's Stella?"

"Please massage my head Revan, usually Mama always does this when I have a headache."

"Alright," replied Revan flatly while hiding his feelings that were so happy because he was finally able to get close back to Stella. But just now Revan is about to touch Stella's face suddenly Stella's phone rang. Stella then opened her eyes, her smile instantly expanding when she saw the name of a person on the screen of the phone.

"David" said Stella, and she hurried to answer the call. Emotions so filled Revan's heart when he saw Stella who looked so happy to get a call from her lover. He then rushed out of Stella's room while cursing inwardly. 'Basic jerk!!!! When can I escape this damned marriage!' revan said as he walked out of his house.

As Giselle was being sleepy, she suddenly heard the sound of knocking on the door. 'That might be Revan, ' Giselle's inner self as she walked towards the door.

"Giselle!" call Revan from the outside.

"Yes.. Yes, for a moment" replied Giselle then hurried to open the door. But when the door opened, how shocked Giselle was because Revan's body immediately collapsed before her.

"Jeez Mr. Revan!! What the hell has happened? Why are you drunk like this sir?"

"That's none of your business, Giselle," replied Revan, rummaging indistinctly.

"Troubt it." Giselle rubbed Revan's body onto the sofa. He then rushed towards the kitchen to grab a warm drink for Revan.

"Pak Revan, this is a drink first."

But Revan was just silent while continuing to fumble unclear. A few moments later, Revan falls asleep on the couch. "Based on a drunken man, you're really troubling me" said Giselle, then took off Revan's shoes.

"I've been married to Leo for a long time, he's never been like this, you're an obscure man, it's fitting that the woman you love never wants to be with you."

"Stella, don't leave me Stella" Revan said as she pulled Giselle's body into her arms.

"Stella I love you, never leave me" Revan said, hugging Giselle.

'Lord, don't let this happen again. Help me Lord, I must do something, Giselle's inner self while looking for something nearby.

'Ahaaaa I have an idea.'

Giselle then took the warm water that was on the table. BYURRTR.

"Siapaaaa who dares to splash water on me!!!" yell Revan.

Giselle who was still sitting near Revan was so afraid to see Revan who was now so angry, now her face was so pale and her body was trembling. Revan then turned his eyes to Giselle.

"Giselle, you must have done all this."

"Sorry Mr. Revan, I did all this for fear that you would tarnish me again" Giselle replied tremblingly. Revan was so angry at Giselle's words.

"Hey don't you have a mirror??? Who are you to the point that I have to be so lustful to you? Didn't I tell you many times that you're not my type! Hi Giselle, don't you love Leo? Can you see what Leo's wife looks like? That's more or less my type! Not a woman like you! What a disgusting woman!!" revan said so rudely.

Giselle could only cry hearing Revan's words. "I'm not quite as pretty as Calista, I might not be worth Stella, the woman you always call me. I can accept that, I do not deserve to be loved by people like you. But I'm not a disgusting woman, I just want to protect my pride that you've taken away" Giselle said in tears. He then ran towards his room with a sob.

Revan stared at Giselle's departure with a sad look. His heart was filled with a deep sense of guilt. Revan then walked towards Giselle's room and knocked on her door.

But there's no answer. "Giselle, I'm sorry Giselle, I'm sorry for my words that have been so rude to you" Revan said as she continued to knock on Giselle's door, but still there was no answer.

"Giselle's sorry for me" Revan said continuously until she finally fell asleep in front of Giselle's room.
