Between the Two Hearts

"Who's actually been calling you since last afternoon?" giselle asks Revan when she sees Revan's cell phone ringing as they enjoy dinner in Revan's apartment.

"Nobody, just a prankster,"

"Is that Stella?"

"No," replied Revan a little nervously.

"What if it's Stella? You think I'd be jealous of her?"

"No, that's not what I mean by Giselle, didn't I tell you that I'd try to forget about Stella."

"By avoiding it? Just like I had to shy away from Leo to be able to forget him?"

"More or less like that."

"Hahahaha it turns out we're both losers."

"Hey, don't call me a loser,"

"Descending from our loved ones what's his name if not Revan's loser?"

"You'd better avoid Leo because Leo's married, but I..." Revan did not continue his sentence, he then walked towards the sofa, and then sat down while playing his phone.

"Did you love Stella so much?" asked Giselle who was suddenly already beside him. Revan was smiling.

"Why just smile? You're handsome and rich, and Stella's never been interested in you?"

"We grew up together, our parents were good friends, maybe he was tired of being with me so never interested in me."

"Hahahaha, why didn't you tell your parents to marry you to him?"

Revan gulped violently upon hearing Giselle's words. "Can we not talk about Stella? Are we trying to forget the people we love? Better to talk about our relationship in the future, maybe we can start a relationship like a husband and wife."

"Hahahahaha, a husband and wife relationship? You mean how about Revan? You're the one who said I wasn't pretty? How could you possibly be interested in me?"

"Don't I tell you if I didn't mean it? I'm just carried away by Giselle's emotions."

"That's the reason." Giselle then walked away from Revan, but suddenly Revan blocked Giselle's hand. "Stay here and accompany me."

"What if I don't want to?" giselle answered while releasing Revan's hand, until finally there was a slight pull and Giselle fell on Revan's body and now they are lying on the sofa.

Giselle tried to stand up, but Revan brought her face closer and placed her hands on Giselle's hips. Giselle could only close her eyes as Revan's face was already getting closer to her. But when their lips began to touch, suddenly Revan's phone rang again.

Those who are surprised, then behave wrongly. Giselle then quickly stood up from the top of Revan's body while Revan sat down while picking up his phone.

'Stella.' muttered Revan. He then raised a call from Stella, Giselle who observed Revan's face was worried because the look of Revan's face now suddenly changed.

"Giselle."

"Yes what's wrong?"

"I'll go first yeah, you better get some sleep, don't wait for me 'cause maybe I'll be home for the night."

"Yes." replied Giselle with a smile. Suddenly his feelings felt so chaotic.

'What is this? Why did I suddenly feel like this when I saw Revan go for Stella?' muttered Giselle while looking at the rain that was falling violently. 'Bad weather, like my heart.' murmured Giselle again.

Revan was driving at such a high speed, his heart was so anxious at the thought of Stella. When his car reached their house, he rushed into a room that looked so dark.

"Stella, where are you?" revan asked as he walked around looking for the light switch. She was so shocked that the lights were on that Stella was lying on the floor with so much blood pouring out.

"Stellaaaaaaaaa." cried Revan.

"Good morning Mr. Leo, Mrs Calista."

"Good morning Rima," replied Leo then walking towards the dining table for breakfast.

"Rim, you take care of the twins! I'd like to accompany my husband to breakfast."

"Yes Mrs Calista." replied Rima while taking Nathan and Nala from Leo and Calista's sling.

"How's Rima? Do we need to find a new baby sitter to accompany you to take care of the twins?"

"Emh.. E.. No sir, my lady can keep them alone. They're submissive babies and never overwhelmed me."

"Oh yeah, well, then, but if you're feeling overwhelmed looking after them, please tell us."

"Yes, Mr. Leo."

'Son only, I had difficulty getting rid of that annoying Goddess, now that you guys want to find a new friend for me, I've done all this in vain. I'm not gonna let this happen, I'm the only baby sitter who takes care of those fucking kids otherwise my plans will fall apart.' muttered Rima while looking at Leo and Calista with hateful gazes.

"Calista, look at this" Leo said as he showed Calista a message on his phone.

"Giselle?"

"Yes, he submitted his resignation."

"What happened to Giselle? Why did he submit a sudden resignation like this?"

"Calista."

"Leo, don't let him be offended by your words yesterday when you turned him down when I took him out to lunch."

"There's no way Calista, Giselle isn't such an irritable person."

"Then why?"

"I don't know either." Leo replied with a slightly confused look on his face.

"Leo can I come to your office? I want to see Giselle."

"Surely, after breakfast we go straight to the office."

"Yes Leo." Calista answered and finished his breakfast.

"Rima." call Calista when she and Leo are done having breakfast.

"Yes, Miss Calista."

"I want to go with Leo to his office, there's a little business. You take care of Nathan and Nala, please."

"Yes, Miss Calista."

"Yes we're gone first" Leo said as he took Calista to walk towards the door.

'Yes, the beloved shoots have arrived. Hahahaha, good chance Leo, you gave me a chance to freely hurt your children. Hahahaha, just look at me I will make you feel the pain I once felt.' Rima muttered as she looked at Nathan and Nala who slept so soundly on their stroller.

Revan looked so anxious sitting inside the treatment room in the hospital. She looked at the pretty face of Stella who looked so pale.

"Stella, what exactly happened? Why did you become like this" Revan said as he stroked Stella's hair and face.

Suddenly his phone sounded a sign of a message coming in from Giselle. "Damn, I've forgotten Giselle, I have to make sure she today resigns from Leo's company" Revan said as he got up from his seat. But when Revan was about to walk out of the room suddenly came the soft voice of Stella who called out to him.

"Revan, don't leave me."
