Warrior Terminator
First Fresh Air

“The fight between the captives and the Algol squad yesterday was really great.”

“Oh. So you saw it too, huh?”

“At that time I had business at the headquarters, it just so happened that the power test was held that day. And there's Sir Puppis there too.”

“I also saw that fight. At first glance I thought that the two captives would win. They're pretty great.”

“You think so too.”

“I don't know them. So, who are these two captives you are talking about?”

“Entahlah. I don't remember what their names are, but they're still boys, originally from the village of the traitors, Mayall.” Village

Nah!

A person with a dark and dull coat who heard the talk from the soldiers behind him accidentally dropped the wooden spoon he was holding. He grinned happily. His decision to come to the most crowded place to get information was not in vain.

“Finally. Alpha. Ursa."

...***...

After the strength test that day, Alpha and Ursa were unconscious for two days, and it took two more days to recuperate. So the mission of going to Mayall Village is still not done.

“I can't wait to hear we're going to Mayall Village. Tomorrow, right?”

“Ya.”

“Then, Vice Captain, are we free to go out today?” Alpha asked expectantly.

“No.”

“Oh, come...! Just today, let us go out. Be kind to us.”

“You want to go out, huh?”

“It's clear! Finally this is the opportunity I have gained after waiting for a lifetime! I really want to feel the free air!” hatch Alpha.

“You're overdone, Alpha. You two have only been locked up in this military headquarters for five years, not since birth, ” said Kraz.

“Maybe for you only five years, but for us this is the first time to see the outside world,” Ursa said.

“True.” Alpha connecting. “Our village has a rule that its residents are prohibited from going out of the village. We've been there since birth. Then, our village was attacked, we were unconscious and when we woke up again we were confined. It's only natural that we really want freedom.”

“Why does your village have such rules?” ask Diphda.

“Because our village is different from the villages and cities in this country. You yourself know, Mayall Village is a village labeled as the village of traitors. That's because the founder of our village is a former commander who does not want to continue the task and instead form his own village. While the residents are those who defected and do not like the policy in their area and decided to move to our village.”

“Our village also has different views with almost everyone in the country. We are considered foreigners by the people of this country. To avoid unwanted disputes with residents of other villages or cities our village leaders made a no exit policy.”

“In addition, the location of remote and remote villages is very vulnerable to danger. Especially the ramplites. For them our village is like a food warehouse. Therefore, the decision was made for the good of the population, we do not mind because compared to other places our village is the most comfortable place to live.”

Ursa and Alpha take turns explaining.

“If you never know what the outside world looks like, why do you consider your village the most comfortable place?” ask Diphda again.

“We are not out of the village does not mean we do not know the conditions outside our village. We are also not as naive as it is living comfortably in the cage,” reply Alpha.

“So, why?”

“If asked why then the answer is because compared to our village which respects every human class, village and other cities in this country is very unfair. Different villages and cities, their treatment of their inhabitants is different.

For example, this city, the Milky Way, even though it is a beautiful city and accepts all classes of people, but the people in it still discriminate. I heard that not all shops or public places serve the ordinary people well. Some also treat star humans as such.

Another example is the city of Andromeda. In that city, the people in power are star people, while ordinary people are the ones who are discriminated against. There is another Tadpole Village, which in the village does not tolerate the existence of mixed humans at all.

While our village, Mayall Village, is different from them. We accept everyone. Appreciate everyone. And treat everyone the same. But it was precisely because of the different perspective that we were exiled. It's ridiculous.”

Ursa ended with a cynical rude snort. Hearing that they could not comment at all because it was true that it was.

“You guys who never came out of the village how can know that condition exactly?” ask Okul.

Ursa smothered Alpha's mouth immediately. “On it is a secret, Vice Captain Okul.”

Okul remains flat-faced despite the original motive of the question being revealed. Ursa glared at Alpha. While the young man even grinned the horse did not want to be blamed.

“I love Alpha who sometimes accidentally unlock secrets, but I hate Ursa who stopped it before the secret was revealed,”.

“Lega heard it.” Ursa replied while smiling sweetly made-up.

“Well, so Mr. Okul, can we go out?” Alpha asked again.

“Kraz. Diphda. Accompany the two of them,” he said indirectly expressed his agreement.

Alpha and Ursa were immediately enthusiastic. Even Alpha does not hesitate to praise Okul as a kind man despite his cold and flat face.

“Okul, are you sure you don't want to come with us? Without Captain Algol can you really trust us to be able to keep an eye on them both? What we're talking about is Alpha and Ursa, the boy who never stopped looking for ways to escape us.” Kraz lured his partner and the result was a success.

Okul leads them out of the base. He also asked the gatekeepers for permission in exchange for Algol who was preparing for their mission tomorrow.

Once out of the military headquarters Alpha and Ursa were immediately amazed by the scenery around them. Their heads did not stop turning here and there with astonished looks. They also unceasingly asked the three bodyguards who followed them when curious about something.

Milky Way which is also the capital of Earth Country is one of the cities that are very, very beautiful and exhilarating. Every corner of the city is decorated with colorful crystal stones. The shops are decorated in such a way as to attract buyers. Musicians and dancers offer roadside entertainment.

The horse-drawn carriages carrying the ladies of rich and distinguished families passed by with beautiful horses. Tourists as well as various people filled the crowded streets. Alpha and Ursa really compare all of that to their daily, ever-peaceful village scenery.

Instead of ornamental crystals, their villages were filled with trees or vegetable plants everywhere. The shops that are not many just stand as they are. There was no dancing or singing, only the cries of the house owners who were irritated by the fruit in the yard being stolen by the brats. And there were no beautiful chariots, only old horses pulling field-harvested carts or wooden blocks from the forest.

The Milky Way city was truly a stunning new sight for two young men who had never enjoyed the beauty of the outside world. Previously they only knew from people's stories or writing in books.

“Oh.”

“Ah!”

They were surprised to meet Algol in the middle of the road. Okul approached him and asked about the preparation for tomorrow's trip and was answered by Algol if everything was in order.

“You're on a walk, huh,” he said.

“Yes. We keep an eye on them,” replied Kraz.

“I thought I'd buy something!” exclaim Alpha happy.

“I too,” welcome Ursa.

“Oi, yes! Wait up! Do you two have money?” ask Kraz.

“No.” Alpha answered innocently. “You will pay for us," he continued.

“As we want!”

“You will not refuse. Or rather, the uniform you wear is forced to not be able to refuse it. Because warriors like you would not embarrass yourself without paying. While we are only the responsibility that is charged to you,” said Ursa intelligently.

“You...! I always didn't like that sneaky way of talking!” Kraz gripped Ursa's head in annoyance.

“Let go, Mr. Kraz!” exclamation Ursa. And after it succeeded he said proudly. “I call it ingenuity, not cunning,” he said in self-defense. “The part I want is just something simple, which is a weapon bag.”

“I want a dagger. My hand is better with a dagger than a sword,” said Alpha.

“You can get it at headquarters. Even with better quality than those sold here,” said Diphda.

“Then something else, like—”

“Best light stones! I sell the best light stones in the country! Light stones from Mayall Village! Look at! Look!”

Someone shouted out loud. People were indeed shocked by the sudden shout, but the most shocked was the Algol squad. Especially Alpha and Ursa. Both of them immediately approached someone who had a dull dark coat with the hood.

As for that person, he grinned broadly seeing Alpha and Ursa coming at him with a face that clearly showed interest.

“Oh. You two, are you interested in the light stone I brought? Original from Mayall Village."
